I have not gotten any update so far.

My I-485 status hasn't been updated either... looking at the processing times for my local office on uscis.gov, I estimate that they probably won't get to my case until late April.

At first I expected to be like 5-6 months. Then after reading around, many got it like for 3-4 months so I had hope. But recently have been talking with few people in my area (same office) and some other in the big cities. Their waiting time is around 9-11 months. Not sure if it's because of their cases are complicated or there are really many applicants.

Wish we all get it quicker than expected!

Got my EAD today finally:) wahoo!!! although my interview is in a few days lol i think everyone is getting their EAD today so they must have approved them in a batch lol

I don't understand why sometimes it starts with EAD in production and sometimes EAD Approved? I'm missing the first step... I didn't apply for AP

I think the actual process should be approved then ordered card. But the notification sometime may get missing. I didn't get the tracking number notified until the card was delivered at my place and they gave the tracking number with that notification. I called to ask for the tracking number but for some reason I can't track it only be able to track by using the link in the update case status.

I plan to be able to visit home or other places if in any case so I applied AP, coz I have no idea when I will get my green card and it's free of charge.

You should get your card in couple of days!

Today I received a text that the case has been updated... Status updated today but approved on 02/04/2016

Also we received a paper notice of action saying that the application has been approved. It says that the card (form I-766) was sent under separate cover. Is it the same for everyone of you?

Is it really sent or do we still need to wait until the status changes to card in production/sent?

I finally got my card delivered at home today in the mailbox without signing anything. It's the priority 2 days mail. I also got notification update on my case that the card has been delivered to my place with the tracking number. The tracking number can be traced from the given link in the case status of USCIS website, l but not on the USPS website and you key in the number. I have no idea why.

I have not received any update but I notice on my USCIS account the updated date is changed to be today. I clicked to check the contents but still same as yesterday. I didn't receive any notice just checked online by myself. I then called USCIS asking for my tracking number. They gave me the tracking number but since then I have been checking online with USPS and they say "Not Found". I repeated my number with the USCIS officer before hang up and she confirmed that the number I have is correct.

I think possibly that the USPS doesn't pick up yet. I checked online it can be up to 10 days (and a bit more) to receive the actual card from the day they approved. I also read online some people said they have never received any tracking number but they got the card delivered at home and there is no update on USCIS website too. Will they come as a mail that we have to sign as receiver?

Today I got the approval letter in my mailbox.

Hi Patchie. Yes, you will receive another notice when USPS picks up your card and then you will need to sign into your USCIS account to view the tracking number (for some reason, I was unable to view the tracking number in the e-mail notice that I received). Congratulations!!!

It's the same wording as in the email they sent to me on USCIS account. Anyway, I feel better now that the will send me another email when USPS picks up my card and get the tracking number. I experience some mistakes from the postmen that sent to the wrong houses often. With the tracking number that would help me check the status of my card.

Where would you call for EAD inquiry? I have my biometrics done on December 28th but have not heard anything back about my case at all.

Maybe you may try this www.uscis.gov/e-request, but normally as I read on the internet and talked with people who were in these processes. They said around 45 days from your fingerprint day. Mine is exactly in that timeline. 30 days from submitted the forms then got fingerprint. 45 days from fingerprint then got approved for EAD card. Some people got their cases very fast, but also some got very slow. Mine is still in the normal timeline (from what I observed).

Today I have received this status:

On February 3, 2016, we mailed your new card to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your card by March 4, 2016, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we send your new card to you.

Will I receive another notice about USPS picks up my card and the tracking number? I'm a bit confused they said they MAILED but didn't give me any tracking number or maybe I have to wait a bit longer to the update of USPS picks up.

They received our package on the Nov 17th so let's hope it coming ?

Yeah some people are real fast like just 3 months but some others are so slow. One girl I saw somewhere else, it took her 9 months to get her green card. It was in NY. Mine is in DC which is quite busy there (from what I saw in my fingerprint day). At first I gave 5-6 months, then later hoped for 3 months, now maybe 9 months. I don't know, but really expect it will be fast to everyone.

At 12.15pm it was sent to my phone that my case is updated. Then I checked online and a bit later I got the notification on email.

They received my package on 16th Nov'15. I did the fingerprint on 16th Dec'15. The officer said my fingerprint was not clear might have to come back to do it again in a month. I have been waiting for the appointment letter but I didn't get anything until i got this notification today.

I really hope we all get it very soon.

I now don't have to use it this time. I have received a notification in the afternoon stating that

"On February 1, 2016, we ordered your new card, and will mail it to the address you gave us."

It's for I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

But for Advance Parole Card I have not yet received any update. Hopefully it's the same card with my work permit.

On February 1, 2016, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number SR**********MSC, was assigned to an officer for response.
