  1. (F) I would like to say officially to the VJ family! My name is Livi, I am a minister, novelist and future graphic designer. Nost importantly, Im soon to be married to my fiance Jide in Nigeria. We met while I was looking for a graphic designer for my ministry. He designed a logo for me and the rest...well is history...lol..I never thought that I could connect to someone so far and yet be so close. We have so many of the same interest, life experiences and such. Its been a test of time dealing with traditional thinkng people in my surroundings, but I believe in the power of love. Right now im waiting on my passport to be processed, then my VISA..after that im off to meet my soulmate. After spending time in Nigeria...I will come home and begin the journey of Jide and his kids joining me and my family. I know God hand is on our life. I ask that you all continue to pursue the love of your lives and believe in the power of God and destiny. Regardless of circumstances that may arise, never lose faith and hope. In the end love will always prevail.

I wish you all the best.

  3. Hello All!

Victor's AOS interview is scheduled for 06-06-06 . . . at first I was wondering if "Damion" had anything to do with it . . . lol, now, we both believe that this day will be a success and we will emerge from the processed blessed in everyway.

Things are going well with us . . . we've had our wedding ceremony. It was beautiful . . . I'll have to post some pictures! Victor is working, and he is adjusting to life in America well. Our adjustment to our new lives has been slow, stressful, and a test of everything we share together. I just want to encourage everyone here to hold onto WHY you love your spouse/fiance and let that and prayer carry you through. Also, if you have major trust issues now . . . don't go any further until you've worked them out to a point where you both feel comfortable going forward. The amount of stress that occurs AFTER your spouse is in the USA far out weighs any stress you may feel as you are going through the visa process . . . and this amount of stress is dangerous on many levels of your relationship, if you try to handle it on a relational foundation that is compromised by mistrust.

May God continue to bless all you and you're visa journeys! (L)

Thanks for the advice..Im really absorbing all the advice and experience of the VJ family here...blessings on your interview and as you know GOD is always in control!!!

  4. My relatives are closed minded about alot of things. But I trust God in situations..they dont like idea of me traveling overseas..which im like geesh im 39 in July..ahhahahah...but preparations being made for a nice hotel for two weeks and such and you have to live life as destiny leads..in my opinion. Plus yanno people have issues with Internet relationships which i say..they no different than regular ones...i mean we talk on phone, up here and such..and its still getting to know a person..I tell them its about trust and using common sense..but anyway..i dont let anyone rain on my parade...and I hear crazy stuff about Nigeria..I put it under my foot and look forward to nice time. ..Thanks so much for the kind words..it helps to know like i said..its others thats going through and have made it..

    Peace
