    hi bro , i just received an update on my case today. and an oath letter was sent :) im relieved now . you should be next

    Nothing to worry. This appears to be a norm in Chicago office. On the day of my interview , I met another person who had the interview that day. His case was similar to mine and his application was also sent for review. Hang-in tight and we'll be USC soon. Good luck!

    im tired of waiting too . 3 weeks after my interview . and nothing new about my oath letter. i feel like Chicago office is one of the worst in the country.

    I feel so so depressed, I see almost everyone's process done and I... I haven't even in line, why I need to wait for so long, I don't have any bad record... I would love to have the right to vote in the next election, but I lost my faith at this point. I called USCIS two weeks ago and they said Chicago is a busy office, but my classmate (from citizenship class) had they oath ceremonies already even though they applied after me. There is anything I should do to know what's wrong with my case??? Thank you and have an amazing day everyone (F)(F)(F)

    hello,

    no nothing changed since my last update online . so still waiting . hopefully this wont take a long time.

    same here...did your online status ever change? I also sent them an inquiry online about an approval letter not received, the inquiry was completed but i didn't receive any email to their response. Almost a month now.

    we are on the same boat brother . im still waiting for that review and my oath letter !. so stressed out .

    I had my interview yesterday at Chicago office. The officer quickly went over my application and then got into civic and English test. Following civics questions were asked

    1. Who wrote Declaration Of Independence?

    2. Name any three of 13 original states

    3. Which political party does the current president belong to ?

    4. What are the two major political parties ?

    5. Name a state that borders Mexico

    6. Who is the commander in chief ?

    Then he asked me to read Who elects Congress and made me write "The people elect Congress". At the end , he said he needs to review all my paperwork and there will be a second person who would review it for Q&A and then I should be receiving my Oath letter. He said I should be receiving my Oath letter in 30 days. In the paper that he gave me he checked the second option - Needs review. So, the waiting game starts now.

    hello,

    i ve had my interview today . everything went fine . civics and history question all cleared . the IO went trough my application and ask me a lot of questions . we talked about my trips outside the US. i ve had a lot . and since i dont have my old passport he said that he has to check in their system if the dates matches or are close enough to what i ve put in the application . and if they need . they will ask me to bring some proofs about my travels like flight tickets. so he stated that a decision cannot be made at this time and that i should wait for a mail soon for further steps. im still positive and im hoping for a response soon :)
