We got a text message to pickup the passport

We got the Passport with the visa today!

The weird part is that the status on the CEAC is still showing as "Administrative Processing". 😅😂

Anyway this long journey has finally ended 😀

Hi,

My wife had her interview July 1st she was approved. She was told that she should be able to pick up her passport within 7 - 10 days (she will get a text message when the passport is ready).

below is the statuses and updates we got:
Status Ready - Last Updated July 5
Administrative Processing - Last Updated July 7

How long should we wait before contacting the embassy requesting an update on her Status? How long does it usually take for status to be changed to Issued?

I applied for my US passport today at a USPS office. I noticed that the clerk there clipped my original naturalization certificate to the application form. Did this happen to anyone else?

Hi all,

I am an LPR, and getting married soon (religious marriage).

The marriage (religious) will be done outside the US. So my question, do I need to have a civil marriage before the religious one? so I can apply for the Form I-130 and include "A copy of your marriage certificate"

Or will the religious marriage certificate (translated) will be enough?
