Hey guys,
i need your help.
we have filled a joint a I-751 back in vibrer of 2018.
i revived the extentioj letter but no appointment for the biometrics yet.
I have been waiting so far normally it says that it does only take 3 weeks after your revive the first notice of action.
contact the USCIS they sent a letter saying that there is a of work load that why it taking a lot of rien to setup an appointment of rnionetrics, but they should setup one no more the 60 days.
Today was the deadline we still haven’t received the biometrics letter yet.
Has anybody else been through this what’s the next step should call back or send a service request.
please your thoughts.
how long does take for the approval after doing your biometrics?
Do you have to fill for citizenship or wait until we receive the approval for the permanent 10 years green card.
We have filled in Texas service center, I don’t know if everybody else is in the same boat.

Hey Guys,
This is to share information and update fr the the application who are residing in texas and sending their N400 application this September..
Does anybody in the group knows what are the requirement and also the support evidence that you need to include with your application.
I'm in the process to gather everything I could from the last three years, in order to start the citizenship process.
Please share your experiences here.
Thank you!

I did not send a photo album, I just sent a bunch of pictures. I'm not sure if that could have delayed the process. On the website https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ it still says that my fingerprint has been received, so they haven't updated that. I did submitted a service request about 3 weeks prior to receiving the letter that said that my biometrics were going to be reused. I'm not sure if that made them move quicker.

Hi Lolita,
Thank you for your reply, I actually get to talk with the USCIS and checkec on my status, sometimes they dont need to schedule you for a biometrics appointment since they can use that data, they recognize now that I never get a letter for my bio-metrics appointment, I have been told I should get my appointment in 60 days, but everything is going fine...now I'm eligible to apply for Citizenship.
I'm looking to see what I need to provide the USCIS as per the supporting documentation.

Hi Happy-Phil! I sent my package to Dallas and I just received a letter a couple of weeks ago saying that they were going to reuse my biometrics.
Hi Lolita,
It didn't take you a lot to get the app schedule that was fast I'm fascinated I guess they work like first come first serve....plus they send me back my photo album because it didn't fit with the archive procedures...... I had to send back some pics as evidence does it cause a delay?....

Hi Happy-Phil,
I sent my package to the Dallas address but my file was routed to Nebraska Service Center which is in Lincoln, NE.
I have not heard from them since 12/11/18 when I got my Extension Letter.
I have check 3,000 cases around me (of which around 500 are I-751) and not for a single one did I see a change in status.
I am thinking on submitting a service request again for the biometrics.
Hi Alex,
How do you fill a service request for the Biometrics is it a good thing to send a request or it's going to trigger some red flags, I see some applicant got their bio metrics app just one month after they submit their package?
It has been now 6 months still didn't hear anything from them which starts worries me...you know how it is the wait game.
In case they request an interview do you have to have all the original copies you have submit in your first package, specially in my case we have a age gap difference? Please advise if you have any ideas....
Thanks?

Hey all!
Didn't see an October 2018 I-751 Filer's thread so here we go!
Who else will be filing this month?
Our 90 day window to file opened October 1st but we just got back from vacation yesterday so spending the day today getting our packet ready to file in the next few days!
Hi Matt,
We filled our application almost the same time beginning of October from Last Year.
We sent our Package and received notice of action one month later, plus they returned an album stated that they can't accept photo albums which we did change later on and sent regular form.
How long does take for the bio-metrics, we have filled with texas center service in Dallas.

The wait time to receive a green card depends on the service center, but on average it takes about 18-24 months to receive it
Hi Julie,
Thank you for your reply.
Do you have any idea about the progress for the the guys who filled their application on October 2018 to remove the conditions for the USCIS Center in Dallas.
Thank you!
-
Hi Guys,
I have submitted my I-751 remove condition application in early October 2018, I've received the action of notice with extension of residency after 30 days from original date when I submitted my package to Dallas USCIS processing center.
So far it has been more then two months I haven't heard anything back from them.
My case status with USCIS online still display the same notification, that they have received my application and it's actually under review through the USCIS.
My question is does anybody going through the same thing? and whats the wait time to receive the green card.
Does it normally take more then 60 days after receiving the action notice to get the appointment for Bio Metrics.
Thank you for your help.

I had my interview yesterday. They don't need the AOS paperwork because they've got it from the NVC. Unless you got a checklist for a new I-864?
No the affidavit of support form I-864 they didn't ask for a new one, but the interview letter mentions that I need to bring the original singed in ink....

Hi guy,
We need help urgently,
I have my appointment scheduled for tomorrow, I have only the copy of the affidavit of support, the consulate needs the original, we didn't pay attention tell now which is dumb we are pissed, but what will be the best thing to do right now ask to reschedule the interview, or still go to the interview and see what will happen.
I have a joint sponsor too, the AOF is original Should I just go and see what will happen.
( happens)....
Please it's urgent.....

Hi guys,
Our case it's at the US consulate in Casablanca, I have my appointment scheduled...
I have some doubts about the civil documents, do I need to get an updated police certificate and court record certificate; as this civil document have only three months of validity.
Also, for my joint sponsor, I have only one copy of her passport biographic page which is expired.
Do we need to get copy of passport up to date or it will be fine for the CO, I'm wondering if it will raise a red flag....
Thank you for help ....
Good Luck everyone....

Hi Guys,
Finally we have received the instructions letter from the NVC after the 6 weeks from our scan date end up.
we are excited to move forward, on the instructions, we need to correct the affidavit of support of my joint sponsor section Part 5, I'm supposed to present on my interview day the original form signed.....
At this moment we need to know how long it'll takes the NVC to submit the case to the local embassy in Morocco, is there any option to follow up online the sttus of the visa being issued?.....if someone of you guys had the same experience please advise....
Thanks for you help and good luck everyone....

Another month begins.
Good luck everyone. Was hoping for CC at the end of September but no joy.
Hi JFH,
Our scan date is 09 September, we didn't hear pack yet from the NVC....
Did anyone with this scan date frame have received the instruction letter with the interview date?
Good luck everyone !!

Did you call to get your scan date ( date docs received)? If you have then its 6 weeks after that scan date without any errors you should get your case completed.
Hi Mrs. Burgz,
My wife submitted the AOS package and the civil document, NVC received by UPS the 7th September, we call the NVC on the 9th September in order to check if they had received our package so yes they had confirmed the receipts.
Is that means that the 7th September is the scan date?
Thanks...

Hi Guys,
We have submitted the AOS package and the online application IV DS-260 to the NVC in September 1st.
Tell now we still waiting for feedback from the NVC, how long it'll takes tell we hair from them at this stage.
Thanks for you help.
-
Thanks @Nick for your response.
But I read on the NVC center website that if you want to correct something on your ds-260 you have to call the agents at the NVC.
The problem is that I'm afraid to submit change then they will send us a ROE.
-
Hi Guys,
After we submitted the DS-260 online visa application, can we edit it to update some personal information, should be this like a red-flag to the NVC, or it's fine to correct submitted information.
I have been rejected a student visa previously Should this be an issue with our current file with the NVC.
Thank you in advance for your help.
-
Hi Guy's,
I hope you can help me with this, the NVC received our case from the USCIS after our I-130 has been approved.
Since my petitioner it's actively looking for jobs, right now she is without work, is this going to affect negatively our case with the NVC decision with chance that may our case get rejected for not sufficient resources, although my petitioner incomes for the last three years meet with the minimum poverty guide.
We didn't submit the AOS package yet.
Should we fill with a joint sponsor to make sure that our case is completely strong, or we should wait tell my petitioner find a permanent job and submit everything to the NVC.
Thank you for your advice and help.
-
Hi guys,
We had filled the petition form I-130 and after long six months waiting we had an update today on our case status the USCIS are requesting evidence document, in order to take their final decision.
I hope that some of you guys has experience this, we need to know the nature of this evidence document.
Thanks for your support.
Help with Deportation Proceeding
in Effects of Major Family Changes on Immigration Benefits
Posted
Hey Guys,I have been in trouble with my US souse since September 2019, when she heard that I received my fingerprint appointment to receive my green car she started to threat me of deportation and has escalated argument at the house until to the point of physical assault where she did hit me in the eyes.
I have documented everything with the local police but I haven't pressed the charges against her.
But the Immigration has granted me my case and they have sent me an approval letter at the house.
I have received my 10 year green card when she did know about it she still kept calling the police and do everything possible in her power to get me deported.
I tried to move to Houston I got in car accident I went back to San Antonio where I live I was afraid from deportation she said that she will set-up an appointment foe me to ask an immigration attorney if there is any case of deportation.
She set me up and since then she would not let me go back to the house to live with her or either let me have the vehicle and she has serve me with a restraining order so i couldn't go back to the house she has also filled for divorce and I haven' received any notification for USCIS to appear for a hearing.
two months ago I was in downtown until the police found me and they have reported me to the immigration for deportation.
Until this day I'm still worried I haven't been arrested or taken to immigration detention.
They just let me suffer all this time until I don't look like any regular resident.
I have contacted USCIS on multiple occasion by the phone and they don't have a clear answer about the hearing.
I feel like that my rights has been taken away really easy, and I haven't been able to defend my self in front of an immigration judge.
have been homeless and I didn't know how I can sue her for major depression and mental disorder.
She kept my bank check she destroyed them and he has taken my medical files I kept them in my vehicle and she has destroyed them as well.
When I call attorneys for help they keep asking me for the letter of notification wish I have never received either in person or by mail.
I'm really lost at words i feel like my rights f residency has been taken away really easy without having the chance to defend my self or get any other immigration reliefs.
Right Now I'm not working and I have lost my vehicle and my job at a local car manufacture because of her abuse.
She would call the police on me everytime I go back home.
And she is accusing me of harassment.
I'm wondering how I could sue her for the mental damage and of all this years of abuse and specially completely destroying my future and my life?
Please help with any useful advice.
