My fiancé had interview on 10/11, Status shows visa issued on 10/20. She chose to have it mailed to her hometown.

We have had the status of :Passport has been received from the consular section, and is currently being processed for delivery: since the morning of10/24.

Starting to get a little worried as most people appear to have theirs much faster than ours. Some older posts said they had a pink or orange slip from interview day with the tracking number for their passport. She said she never got anything like this, so I don't know if that was old info or still current. She also said she never got an email with the tracking number, that some others have said they got.

Do you get a tracking number for ems delivery after interview or is it just wait and hope?

I was able to go through and finish the form on ustravelsdocs for my fiance and was able to select an interview date.

Here's what has and hasn't been done so far..........My attorney filled out the DS-160 a few weeks ago. Our info was electronically sent the consulate. My fiance sent Packet 3 back to the Guangzhou consulate yesterday. Fiance has setup an account at ustraveldocs, but hasn't finished inputting her profile info or paid the fee yet.

I will have my fiance finish the profile at ustraveldocs site and have her pay the fee at CITIC bank. Here's what the page shows:

1. Which one should be selected?

2. Probably depends on item #1 above, but can we pick the date or will that be given in packet 4?

Im wondering how long it would take for my fiance to be able to come back to China to visit after we get married in the USA. Im not sure of the complete process yet. I assume it would be after AOS, just not sure of the timeline for her to be able to go home to visit and then easily return back to the USA

I was reading that the NVC can send the files to Guangzhou electronically. Is this something that has to be requested or is it automatic?

Just checked our status and our NOA2 approval was done on July 20th. Happy Happy
