My husband had to go to his bank and ask for a credit card. There was no other way for us to pay.
Thank you for the advice everyone.
I will try to find the *international* travelers check asap.

Greetings,
If I am sending in the I-130 package to USCIS via fedex how can I pay the $190 fee other than check?
All suggestions are appreciated.

I downloaded my regions converter from the net. here
My favorite Russian flic is Nochnoy Dozor, or "Nightwatch"
Fantastic special effects, and an interesting counter-message to hollywood and madison avenue.

I know I posted this on another thread but I thought I would make the comment a little more obvious.
Vienna now accepts petitions from its jurisdiction. It did say however it might be better to wait a week to see if you can file with your embassy and then they will send it to Austria saving you the cash for the fedex.
Fofire
Thank you, sir!
My wife will be very happy when I tell her tonight, and sending the cash for fedex is a small price to pay.

Greetings all,
I am in Poland and I was wondering if anyone living in the countries under the jurisdiction of USCIS Vienna have had success with them processing their case? We just got married after a year of Polish bureaucracy because our embassy told us to do dcf in warsaw and now we are back where we started a year ago.
Kind regards,
Andrew

Greetings all, I was on the DCF track before the Ministry of Truth shut it down. Now Im all ready to ship off my I-130 package but there is one situation and that is this:
My wife was in the US on a work visa, working legally, she left to mexico on a short vacation (during the one year time period of the visa), she went back to the US where she was intercepted at the O'Hare and they said she could not enter again as the visa was only for one entry. This is a mistake that lots of people make when they get a work visa. So they shipped her back to Mexico (where she knew no one, didnt speak spanish and had hardly any money), anyway she got robbed there and lost her passport so we do not know what her SS# was in from that visit. This is vital info that we dont have. And we dont know what to do about it.
So now I do not know how to retrieve this information and Ive tried the US embassy in warsaw who were useless.
If anyone knows: If I can send in the package WITHOUT this tidbit, or if not how I can retrieve such information, it is greatly apreciated.
Best regards,
Andrew

Hello everyone, I keep seeing that DCF is coming back at various locations, yet those of us who got the pug pulled on them while waiting in Poland are still in the dark, not a thing on the US embassy Warsaw website. If anyone is in Poland and wants to share experiences, advice on how long to wait for DCF to return, please let me know.
Kind regards,
Andrew

You will need a co-signer on the I-864 affidavit no ways around it. I know this because I'm in the same boat, same job, and same situation. Best of luck. Andrew

Hello all, and thank you very much for the comeraderie here.
I was wondering if its possible to get a work visa for my wife to return to the US for awhile? My father is in the hospital from a heart attack and I just want him to see his daughter in law once in his lifetime. Nine months ago approx. the consulate in warsaw told us to do DCF and now all our labors have been in vain. My family is suffering tremendousely from this seperation.
If I am allowed my father could employ my wife and fill out the documentattion for it. I do not have a talent for understanding the Govt websites to please forgive me if this information is already available.
Thank you everyone for your time,
Andrew

Greetings all, I just went to the consulate in Warsaw with every possible govt form filled out and ready to go for DCF. I thought that after an agonizing 9 months of bureacratic nightmares of the process of getting married in Poland me and my wife would be able to come to the US and see my family again (within three months), and then this morning I found out what everyone here already knows.
I am absolutely crushed, and dont know how to tell my family. The officer at this embassy that convinced me to do DCF 9 months ago wasn't even there to respond.
If anyone has any information to share I am glad to hear it. I know many others are suffering, too.

Hej Monika, naprawde mi przykro ze ci robia takie problemy... wiem ze wazne jest dla ciebie zeby byc teraz z rodzina... Mam nadzieje, ze ci sie uda. Trzymaj sie.
Hello Niki & Forever! thanks for responding
I am getting married in Poland, reason being the US embassy in warsaw told me the process would be quicker and much more hassle free. Yeah right!!!
I have all of the documents that the court said we would need, but if something is 'out of order' we will need to wait another 3-4 months for a meeting with a judge. Beaurocracy is a scary thing.
best wishes,
Andrew

czesc everyone!
I am currently in Poland with my fiance. We have our interview with the judge (to see if we will be allowed to get married here) in a few days.
Has anyone gone through this process? What will the judge ask us??? Very stressful.
Thanks for any responses in advance.
Best wishes,
Andrew

Hello all, my name is Andrew. I am from Wisconsin. I met me fiance, Beata, a Polish girl, in Mexico City about six months ago. We decided to work and live in Warsaw together as English teachers. We are very much in love and are currently deciding whether to go the K1 or K3 route. This board is extremely useful and the members kind and helpful. Best of wishes, Andrew

Greetings everyone. Thank you for all the help in advance. I am an American. I am working in Warsaw. my fiance is from here and we are currently filling out the 129 form to bring here to the US.
My question is: can I send it to Nebraska from here or do I need to deliver it in person? Do I need a stable job in the US to qualify?
Thank you very much. Andrew.

Greetings,
If I may, I had two questions for experienced I-130 filers:
If we both have the SS# do we need this Alien registraion #? I don't even know what it is.
And also we have one more question: my wife was in the US over five years ago, and not understanding the limitations of her work visa went to Mexico for a week. Upon return she was detained and told she was not allowed to re-enter the US (for a year).
On the I-130 there is the question: "Has your relative ever been under immigration proceedings?" and then the options: removal, exclusion/deportation, recission, and judicial proceedings.
I am guessing 'removal' but I am not sure.
Thank you all in advance.
