    Visa Approved Finally after Long re Interview so how much days it take to get my passport back ?

    Well.. see, i can't tell, its been 35 days since our reinterview and only now the ready turned back to AP so next will be Ready again, then issued, and then It will reach amex by the end of this month.

    It can take 2 days or 2 month after approval for you depending on your case

    I understand its hard to wait but you need to stop worrying about rejection as long as you did not misrep any information in your case.

    Try to keep yourself busy until you are in AP and this process will become less stressful you.

    My Case is also stuck in AP and I know its not fun..

    I was just asking a question bro *shrug*

    How to speed up an approved K1 Case with completed AP

    My Fiancee had her Interview # 1 on March 3, This was an incomplete interview, documents were missing, We were given a 221-g with temporary denial checked. We sent the missing stabs on same day as interview...



    Here is how Interview # 1 Went



    Status changed on CEAC site from Ready to AP on March 3 and updates took place on March 7,8 15 and mail update on 25

    On April 4, there was another update and shortly afterwards my fiancee received a call from embassy for a re-interview to answer for some questions generated in AP



    Interview was arranged on 12 April, This one went perfect - My fiancee answered each and every one of questions in awesome manner, she was APPROVED , thanked, assured at the end of interview, told to expect passport in 12 days



    Here is how Interview # 2 Went



    Status changed on CEAC site from AP to ready on April 12 and updates took place on April 20, 21, 23 and 25 and mail update on 4, 9 May

    Yet that seems like the last time embassy ever opened our case - So many cases from 3 march, 31 march, 6 April, heck even 26 April have been issued from Islamabad embassy.. Yet we are so freaking unfortunate it sucks.

    • Can I apply for an expedition on basis of humanitarian reasons, I am a heart patient, having gone through 2 bypasses. I just can't live like this anymore. Also If I choose to visit her now, I will have a loss of 1 month salary and cost of Plane and living is around 2k


    • Or should I call to State Department and fight a bit.


    • Or should I ask my senator to expedite the process



    (F) Please Please don't tell me how AP from South Asia is crazy long, each case is merited on its own etc etc...A friend's wife who requested at Embassy for speedy process was issued much faster so is there a way to ask embassy to do the same for me (F)

    Hi, what you all understand from progress on my case stated below?

    4/12/2016- Interview (status changed to Administrative Processing)

    4/20/2016- status update-AP

    4/21/2016- status update-AP

    5/02/2016- status update-AP

    5/03/2016- status update-Ready

    Case Creation Date changed: 5/03/2016

    changed from Immigrant to Non-IV visa: 5/03/2016

    5/03/2016- Later in the day changed to AP again

    I am freaking out little bit cuz we have planned the wedding in the next month on 04th June.

    When your status changed from AP to ready for first time it meant that your AP has been cleared and case is READY for Issuance - When it changed to AP again it meant Visa is going through Issuance - Next it should turn to Ready again, it will mean that Your Visa had been issued and it is Ready for dispatch

    ISSUE (that we will hopefully see this week) means that Visa has been sent to AMEX

    Alhamdulillah. I am ISSUED today....Apne ALLAH ka jitna shukar kiya jaey utna kam hai.thanx for all friends who were with me in this process especially hassan,sasifz.you guys were truly helpful n friendly.I pray that anyone who is in nightmare of AP get their visas soon.ameen

    My prayer are with and all who waiting to b approved

    I feel like I am at the point of break down, VO told her 12 days and its 20 down atleast

    I know she will be approved since VOs dont lie, but i am scared it might take months. Do you think i should write or call them

    I have noticed that people are mentioning exact time as well when their case was last updates CEAC.

    Is it impossible to see the time there cuz all I can see is the change in date but there is no time mentioned when that update was done!

    Thats because we check several times in a day

    If you have no update early morning but update in noon it is 11 PM PST

    If you have no update till eve, its 3 pm

    I personally check le status every hour so :P
