    URGENT: RFE reset our 90 Days clock, is the RFE receipt date the new filing date?

    Freaking out here.. We arrived on June 14, filed for i-485/657/131 on 15 July. Now the thing is that we got that freaking freaking RFE around September that we responded by 13 October..

    When we inquired about our EAD from USCIS they said that the 90 days will be counted from RFE response date.

    Atlanta center is currently processing cases from April. My question: Will we be processed with July cases or the October cases??? It says scheduled for interview as status.

    Friends - Salaam. Alhamdulillah - My Fiancé received call to pick her passport yesterday and we received our visa. Visa is in hand and Ticket is confirmed... Thanks so much for all your help .. This was a real test on our patience and depth of our relationship at times... I Pray to Allah for everyone who is still going through this process - May Allah make your process easier and short and everyone receives their visa soon. Please make dua for us...

    Hello -Khanuz - How are you? We are waiting on the email to pick up the embassy.. Since it was issued on Friday - we are hoping Inshallah will receive the passport by Wednesday of this week since last two days were weekend... Please make du and we pray everyone as well.

    Hi can someone please guide me about the departing procedures. My fiancee and her daughter are coming to US on a qatar airways flight tomorrow,

    Please guide me regarding what documents were required on KaracHI Airport, and Qatar Airport? Like Passport/Visa photocopies, Medical Photo copies etc

    Do I need to pay any fees. on any airport during any procedures?

    I have a 4hour layover in Qatar, how do they make sure that their luggage is booked directly for their destination i.e Atlanta

    What are important custom regulations regarding baggage etc..

    Assalam-O-Alaikum to all brothers and sisters

    belated ... Happy Ramadan!!!!!!!!!!!

    Congratulate to all who got their visa and best of luck for all who are Que.

    Please pray for me ........... I am in administrative processing since last 4 years and 9th months........... overall case duration 8th year.....

    only one interview one medical nothing else. for almost last 5 years us embassy Islamabad did not ask for any thing

    not even did objection on any thing ....... interview was good. every thing ok as per CO reply and embassy reply by mail but in administrative procession

    since 4 years and 9th months.

    our marriage is arranged. families are in same city and are family friends.

    my wife checked with homeland security and other departments in USA they said case is in us embassy Islamabad.

    us embassy Islamabad last mail reply was that... yes case is with us but we can not do any thing until administrative processing finish and can not give you time frame ......

    when this hell of administrative processing will end ?????????

    we have already lost 8 golden years of our lives and us embassy still says they can not predict about administrative processing time frame.

    should we wait whole life ???? i have a daughter she is 3 years and 7th months...

    I and my wife spoke to many lawyers regarding administrative processing issue............. some says go for mandamus some says its useless

    waste of money and time and the answer will remain same that your case in administrative processing and is in US Embassy Islamabad ,no body can do any action etc.

    I request to all of you please remember me in your prayers as we are very very upset and tense and in a painfull life.

    yes after interview they kept my passport and said your case seems ok and you will get your visa one to six months.

    after an year i got back my passport as i had to visit uae.

    We have contacted senator and congressman etc. but all useless as yet...

    you know what.... for me this news... petition will not expire is a drawback .......... because embassy says they can not predict time limit......

    we have already lost almost 8 years to get USA visa .......... almost 5 years in administrative processing....... still embassy says they can not do anything.

    they can not predict about time frame... so what does it mean ??? have to wait whole life ???? how many years 10 , 20 30 50 years ???

    i wish they can say your case is expire and apply again ......... i want some action on my case ....... they are just doing torture .......... because

    in last 5 years they didn't ask for new medical, new affidavit of support or any other document..... no objection on any thing...........

    I Practically had tears in my eyes after reading your story!! I can not do anything but pray! :cry2: These people can be so heartless

    But you should either go for some sort of lawsuit or try to apply from some other embassy as Russia etc

    SINCE MAY 31st - After interview - Approved .. Case creation date changed to 31st May and changed to Non Immigrant .. No more updates what so ever.. Stressed out..

    I have a question im from kingston jamaica and i did my interview on may 20 2016 and i was told by the c.o that i have been approved and gotten my k1 visa he took my passport and told me i would get it back in 1 to 2 weeks but i also had to send in the original affidavit with my sponsor signature on it because the one i gave them at the interview showed a printed signature my fiance sent it in the same day after i left the embassy after the c.o told me i could leave now my visa been approved the original document arrived at the embassy may 27 the following friday and last week june 2 my case status date updated and on monday june 6 it updated again but the status still shows AP can someone please explain to me what does this mean?

    Both of your visas are in process and will be issued in next few weeks for sure!!

    Thats just the way embassies operate.. wait periods are huge, but as long as you arent being rejected, stay happy n grateful !

    Oh yes she was very harshly scrutinized and questioned second time! But she answered with all facts and truths and in the end CO was very thankful !

    Thank yoi so.much for giving us hope. I have been waiting since February and i am heartbroken all i want is to be with my love one nothing else this all i pray for please give us any information you.know.

    In my situation our case on the ceac never moved to AP it still says ready for interview i email the embassy so many times regarding this matter all they can do is send me the same robotic email.

    I called the department of state they said they see AP

    I do not understand why i do not see that on the site

    Don't loose hope!

    If your relation is genuine then be at peace cause, we had a very complicated case but embassy made sure of it that it was genuine and issued but of course there were long waits involved

    Islamabad don't reject genuine cases like ever..

    Thanks - But almost 3 days no AP ..Just case creation date 31st may .. She did not get 221G - she was told in 10 days ... do they normally still put it on AP??? Please can anyone take bit time and let me know their experience what happened on the CEAC before getting passport.. Please.......

    You can look at my signature! I recently went through all this!

    See, this guy called string beats (in the Islamabad AP thread) and I had same interview date (mine was reinterview though) and his case changed to Non Immigrat and creation date changed as early as 3 may.. Ours didn't until 17 May and we both were issued on 18 May..

    So for him, he waited for 17 days after AP turned to Ready, while It was just one day for me.. But we both have same issue and interview and same wait period, so your case will be issued in its pre-determined period of time, but how much time each separate stage takes will vary..

    • When your case goes from AP to Ready for first time it means that your case has been approved and it is READY for Issuance,
    • Then It changes back from Ready to AP which means the processes of Issuance are being carried out
    • It changed back to Ready which means it is ready for Dispatch
    • Finally it says issued which means it has been dispatched

    How much time each of these takes will vary, you might be in one of these stages for 5 days and either one might take fewer than hours. Frankly it doesn't matter cause it will hardly take more than a week now.

    So believe me when I say it, You are going to be in a havoc soon - Pack your bags like right now.. :dancing:

    And Congrats! This was an extra ordinarily smooth journey for you guys.Have a wonderful journey ahead..

    K-1 fiancé visa Issued

    Lol I got issued on 18 May and Visa in hand on 21 May

    Same here - they told me about 165 fees

    I wanted to laugh on his face the AMEX person - The AMEX staff is so uninformed he simply couldn't understand K1 is not an immigrant visa

    Monday will be 6 months in ap status still reads ready for interview emailed them no reply. Never received anything at interview do u think i should just get married this is so difficult i dont want to be stuck then not even get my visa really this process is so unfair. Advice please feel hopeless

    Yeah! You can try calling State Department!

    Congressmen etc, try to really fight a bit before going for I-130 bcz thats atleast 1 year and comes with more AP
