Mkaz,
Visit http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process and it will explain all the steps in details. I used it in my case and it was very helpful.
Also read this for the next steps

I don't think the embassy can check online for you.

Why is your Tax return transcript taking 8 weeks or more?
A tax transcript can be issued from the IRS over the phone and it takes only 4-6 days to mail you a copy. where is yours mailed to?
No, the embassy can't view online tax documents.

Also most airlines such as Lufthansa, AA, Iberia have this alert on their websites:
http://www.lufthansa.com/de/en/Travel-information
The United States federal court has blocked the travel ban to the USA with immediate effect.
Visitors with a passport issued by 7 countries - Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen - and holding a valid immigrant or non-immigrant visa for the US are again allowed to travel to the USA.
However, short notice changes to the immigration regulations may occur at any time. The final decision regarding immigration lies with the US authorities. -

If you have been denied entry to the US because of the Muslim ban that was implemented last Saturday..Now it is the time to enter. A Federal judge has issued a court order to halt the ban temporarily. Homeland Security has removed the ban and Airlines have removed the ban as well from their websites. So if you still have your visa and it is still valid, you can travel and come to the US as soon as you can.
If you know someone that was impacted by the ban, please let them know and spread the word.
This order is a temporary and can stay or overturned.

I'd wait one more week and if you don't hear back by them, I'd contact the embassy and ask for the status of your case.

Just now, tipaklongkano said:
That's kind of what I was thinking, so thanks for confirming it.
How did the interview go?
It went well and we got approved!
Best of luck for your spouse's interview.

I submitted my w2s and i-864ez last year and it included w2 for 2015, 2014 and 2013. my spouse's interview was this month too and I did not send any thing for 2016. I don't think you need to update them. the interview date does not change the fact that the case was started in 2016 so i would not worry about it too much (imo). Just make sure to send her another i-864 signed with original ink for the interview ( some officers ask for it - in my case i sent it and they did not ask)

How did the interview go? They should have let you know if it's approved or not.
Generally, all visa applications go through AP for minimum of 1 day to 3 weeks so I would not worry too much. It's just the routine process of checking the paper work, printing the visa and updating the online records.

Me and My wife have done a small ceremony and celebration last year due to time constraint. We are planning to have a big wedding this summer where all of our families can have time to fly in town (most of them live abroad) .. Her interview is early next month. Is having the big ceremony after the interview will be a problem in the interview? we have receipts for what we have paid so far for the big wedding planning.
Thanks!

Hello,
Does the consulate in Casablanca, Morocco conduct interviews in English or Arabic for CR1 applicants?
Thanks-

Thank you guys. I asked about Morocco not Egypt. Is it the same way everywhere?

Hello,
Me and my spouse from Morocco are wondering when is the time to register in Aramex to deliver the passport after the interview.
Should we register right after we receive the interview letter?
Or right before the interview or After the interview?
Thanks for your help as always!

Hello,
My beneficiary is in Morocco. Morocco recently has joined the convention de haye 5 octobre 1961. All the civil documents and translations have been issued apostilles.
We intended to send these apostilles with the documents to NVC.
Will that hurt anything? Have you had the same experience with sending apostilles? what will be the NVC response to seeing apostilles with the docs?
thank you for the help as always!!

Hello all,
Thanks for your help -
I just found the following information in the below link - It says that another originally signed copy should be with the beneficiary at the time of the interview regardless of the one the petitioner sent to the NVC for Family-based visa applications
-
Does anyone else have some insight on that? Specially the people who have done the CR1 interview
-
You don't have to have another Affidavit of Support at the interview, unless you have information to correct (e.g. a new job). Although it is always advised to at least have a copy of the Affidavit of Support sent to NVC during the interview, just in case the CO asks for it.
Thanks - That's what I thought which makes more sense since the original is already sent to the NVC.
Send another Original Copy of Affidavit of Support.
Thanks - Can you clarify if this is mentioned somewhere or it has happened with you?

Hello,
I need a clarification please from anyone who had experience with the immigration Visa interview process (Specifically CR-1):
In the PDF I downloaded regarding the checklist for the interview process requirements, one of these requirement is that they need the affidavit of support from the petitioner (in my case I am petitioner)
The question is:
1- Does that mean the beneficiary has to show up in the interview with my affidavit of support? (which I have already sent to NVC), so do I have to send my beneficiary another original copy just to show up with it? please advise
thanks in advance for the help

Yes, the consulate will accept it as long as it's under a year old.
Thanks Again!!
-
The consulate accepts the certificate for up to a year after it was issued, regardless of the 3 month validity.
Thank you! so I can use the one we have (even though it says on the top valid for 3 month) and the consulate will accept it anyway?

Hello,
I need a clarification please from anyone who had experience with the embassy in Casablanca, Morocco for immigration Visa:
In the PDF I downloaded regarding their requirements, it says :
"Police Certificate: For each applicant aged 16 years or over. You must get a police certificate from your country of nationality, from each country in which you have lived for one year or more since your 16th birthday and from any country where you currently reside. Police certificates are valid for one (1) year from the date they were issued. We cannot issue a visa without a current, valid police certificate...."
In Morocco, they issue a police certificate that is valid only for 3 months.
The question is:
1- Have you experienced the same thing?
2- Is there a way to get a police certificate in Morocco that is valid for one year to comply with the embassy requirements?
-
thank you - But my question is regarding the CR1 process - Your link was for N-400. But thanks anyway.
Unfortunately the cover checklist that came with your welcome package is a generic draft for the list. When I sent my package I check "Not Applicable" and my case was fine. My case for my wife just went to this lately and everything was fine. Call the hotline if you ever have question about the documents. They are helpful to explain to you abouy the items in the list.
Thanks - That's what I actually thought. I will try to call and speak to someone. Thanks again!

if both of you don't send any documents or follow up with NVC/ department of state for a year, the case will be automatically closed.
