  1. So technically it’s not it makes it any faster, but the n400 are a high priority petition and if you got to the point that your n400 interview is scheduled and your i751 is still pending, you will be facing one of those scenarios you will get a combo interview for both cases your n400 interview will be rescheduled when the field office gets your i-751 so they can process it. you can be ahead of the game and send a cover letter explaining that you have a pending i-751 and include a copy of your receipt notice with the n400 application immigration officer will conduct the n400 interview but you will be told that they cannot make a decision due to a pending i751 and you will be waiting for the service center to snail mail your i751 along with your entire A-File
  2. Thank you. Good luck, hopefully they get your file at the office as fast as possible
  3. Congratulations on passing the test, was it a combo interview? Did you request a foia? The reason I am asking is I just did a Foia request for my file.
  4. Mine shows that it’s ready to be scheduled since November 2021, n400 actively reviewed since oct 2022, just submitted Foia couple days ago, idk if I made it more complicated by doing this or no but any thoughts/experiences will be appreciated
  5. Just hangup with uscis customer service, I asked for the last update on my i-751 and she told me that my case is outside of normal processing time, however I asked her if that’s accurate since the website shows about 33 months and she said yes it is out of the normal processing time, then she told me to wait another month and if I didn’t get any response I should call and file an inquiry. The thing is I have already filed 2 expedite request but they came back with denial 🤷🏻‍♂️ so idk what should I do? I already filed for my naturalization application last September
  6. Just had my biometrics appointment today, 15 min later case status updated to case is being actively reviewed and the estimated time went up from 9 months to 10 months 🤦🏻‍♂️ idk if that is normal filed date 09/23 Finger prints appointment notice 09/30 finger prints appointment 10/20 FO Santa Ana CA
  7. Hey guys, for those who already filed n400 how long it takes till you see any movement on either i751 or n400
  8. Congratulations 🍾 Did you ever got a ready to be scheduled for an interview status?
  9. Sadly I can’t renew it, I have to be present in my country to do it since I fall under one of the categories that doesn’t have the privilege of renewing their passport through a consular processing (embassy)
  10. I filed my i751 feb 21, waiting for an interview to be scheduled since November last year, I got issued an i551 stamp last November and it’s gunna expire this coming November, so idk if I should call and schedule an Info pass appointment or no since my foreign passport is expired already since June?
  11. Sorry my bad I tried to edit it but it didn’t let me do it
  12. So I can’t keep my case processing in Cali even though I’m not gunna be permanent moved it’s just a 4-5 months for work conditions and I’ll be back in Cali again?
  13. Pending i751 interview since November 2021, filing n400 next week. My question is if I’m using an attorney for both applications and I might be moving to a different state by mid of next year, is it okie to leave the CA address since my attorney will be getting my biometrics and interview letters?
  14. Got my dros to purchase a firearm denied two weeks ago, yesterday received the DOJ letter stating that reason for denying is being illegal alien in the US, however I came to America on an immigrant visa, I have a green card, social security card, CA real ID, Driver license, just got issued an exposed firearm permit by the bureau of security and investigation services, the only thing is my GC is expired and the renewal process is pending for almost a year and a half ad of right now because the uscis is backed up, also I have an extension letter that states that this notice doesn’t guarantee any immigration status, but I had an appointment at my field office and they gave me an I-551 stamp valid for one year as a valid proof of permanent residence status instead of the having an expired GC with the extension letter. Should I appeal the decision or no? Just an FYI, exposed firearm permit and CA real IDs only get issued for US Citizens, and lawful permanent residence. I know this might be not an immigration situation but it is related that’s why I’m looking for help
  15. Congratulations 🍾 did your status changed to ready for the interview before you get the new card is issued.
