  2. I received letter from uscis that they will respond me in 45 days...next months June 18 will be 45 days ...I don't know what to except interview or RFE or green card. They got my case since December 2014 almost 2 years.... i lost my phd enrollment, can't have job in my field because of extension on my passport. .this is full of depression because I can't move toward my goal in life..

  3. Your conditional green card has the date it was issued on.

You should apply for your I-751 90 days before your 2nd anniversary.

If still married, can apply for the N-400 90 days before the 3rd anniversary for US citizenship under the so called marriage privilege.

The entire US citizenship is done at your assigned local field office, they move a lot faster than these two service centers, have no idea what these service centers do, if anything.

We were required to submit all the same evidence we sent in for the I-751 plus the same exact evidence we sent in for the AOS, don't ask me why, how did my wife receive her conditional green card in the first place. Took about ten minutes for her interviewer to review all that evidence, passed the civics and English test. She had her interview about three days after her 3rd year anniversary, but we knew of some that received their interview a few days before their 3rd anniversary, but could not receive their citizenship certificate until after their 3rd anniversary.

My wife's oath ceremony was scheduled for a month later, she finally received her ten year card one week before her oath ceremony, only to give ig back. But we met people at her oath ceremony that never received their ten year card.

Wife also met two friends from her home country whose marriages did not work out, one was abuse, the other, they just didn't get along, but received their ten year cards, because married in good faith, also can claim a hardship to return to your home country. The same holds true for minor children that had no say in this matter, they also can apply for that ten year card. With her friends whose marriages did not work out, they could apply for the five year citizenship, here no evidence is required at all.

So this brings about questions as to exactly what good is this ROC phase for? But was sure a very frustrating experience for practically all of us.

  4. Ours took two days short of one year to be approved. We received an RFE after six months (my bad) and then we waited almost another six months for the interview. From mailing the application until the 10 year GC was received more than 13 months elapsed.

On the plus side, the Agent who conducted our interview was familiar with our file, knowledgeable about the process and very pleasant.

For us, the I-751 was a marathon, not a sprint.

Good luck to all who are waiting.

Thank you Tim and Olga and Congratulation..

Everyone has his Own experience and Unique process with USCIS..

I have received biometric appointement six months after submitted my application..

After six months wait: Now security Checks

I am not even come from mediteraneen Country.

So I guess after 6 months again: It would be interview or RFE or Approved..

  5. Thank you Tim and Olga...I suppose for us will be definitely end of January or begin of February. .

I RECEIVED MY BIOMETRIC APPOINTMENT , SIX MONTHS AFTER SUBMITTED MY APPLICATION..

NOW THEY SEND me paper mentioned that my case is pending because of security Checks..

I SUPPOSE IF APPLICATION IS OVER MORE THAN ONE YEAR , YOU have to be prepared for interview.. that's insane..

  6. Just coming from there..Officer told me briefly that they are working on my case..he would contact them to inform me about a situation and put a stamp on passeport until October 2016..

If USCIS needs me for something, they will contact me..At this moment, I have to be patient and pray..I don't wanna go for another Damn second interview..

In same time, I guess if a case has been pending for 1 year, a probability is higher that you will have interview..Let's see with my wife..she hates it even though she is patient but she hates their interview ..For her, it doesn't make sens ..Just pray

  7. Before people used to call FBI to know about their security checks pending..Now day, impossible. I called them, they don't give you any information and they send you back to USCIS..If I imagined that we are good worker, paying taxes, and not involved to any kind of violent situation. Unfortunately, our case still pending for security checks..it makes me angry and dont understand why
