i have not started working here in USA because I prioritized studying for the Licensure Exam. Unexpectedly I got pregnant. So, in short never had any health insurance ever since. Still waiting for my husband's.

Yes actually reading through it. it says one of the eligibility requirement is INCOME, Pay stubs, or the employment status. Which I have none at the moment. My husband does, but not yet me.

hi everyone! it has been a while since i last posted a topic.

I am currently unemployed and have to sacrifice working (due to preparing for the upcoming Licensure exam on February next year). I already got my Permanent Residency from K1. My husband is working full time and on Humana Health insurance. Open enrollment will be next year March (so i can be added as his dependent).

Now, I am 4 weeks pregnant. I dont have my health insurance yet. We are looking for a health insurance where I can be qualified being Unemployed. Problem is, are there health insurance companies that considers my case - unemployed, permanent resident and currently pregnant??

i need your inputs and suggestions.

I dont know. We just got the text update, nothing in the mail yet. I went through all my paperwork and what they wanted from the last rfe and cant find anything we missed.

The only difference is it says "request for additional evidence" so maybe they need clarification on something.

Meg is there a local office near you, or will you have to drive to Memphis for the interview?

Do you have a certified vaccination worksheet from a civil surgeon or an updated I-693? Maybe that's what they're wanting from you.

Got my green card yesterday without any interview. Although i had an RFE for a certification of vaccine and updated I-693, everything went well and smoothly after I responded.

No I had "Card is being produced" in both EAD and Green Card, after couple of hours it changes to "Case Is approved" then Card is mailed and finally picked up by USPS good luck!

Does it normally change to case is approved on the same day it went to new card is being produce?

If your I-485 says the card is being produced it means later on its gonna switch to Case is approved which means no interview! Congrats!!!?

Oh....i thought "case is approved" comes prior to "new card is being produced"??

Is anyone else having issues checking their green card status online? My receipt number doesn't seem to be working. I have my EAD and AP combo card in hand and I checked the receipt number just to see if they work and it does. But my I-485 receipt number still doesn't work?

It has been almost 3 weeks after sending the RFE response but case status still on RFE. It has not been changing even if we sent the response.

Does that mean my receipt number is also not working????

Completely normal, mine stayed at that until it was approved

How long did yours stayed at Request for Initial evidence status uo to case approved?

i never got an EAD i sent mine to Lee's Summit Missouri. I really don't care about the EAD honestly, I just want everything to go smoothl. RFE's are of the devil !

Yeah, me too. Greencard is what matters most. It's just that we can get started based on the EAD.

i sent my RFE papers back on September 2, They "received my RFE response" on september 8, and I've had no change whatsoever. They say that 60 days for a RFE is normal, and that it is considered normal. but I'm getting antsy, i feel your pain.

Well, on the positive note for you, at least you knew already they got yout RFE response.

While on my case, i didnt even know if it already touches the table of the officer. All i know it's delivered on Oct 11.

Hi to all.

It has been a week since I mailed my response to my RFE to USCIS Charlotte NC (as instructed in the RFE letter).

It was delivered there last October 8 according to USPS tracking. HOwever, until now there's no signoficant change in my case tracker/status. It is still REQUEST FOR INITIAL EVIDENCE WAS MAILED.

I am a bit worried now. I dont know if my documents really arrived there or what.

Should I call USCIS Charlottw NC for verifications or what???

Is this normal, that there's no changes yet in the case status?

REsponse to RFE sent and was received by USCIS Charlotte NC today by an individual according to USPS tracker.

Hi. RFE re new med info was sent to me as well. Civil surgeon said a urine test for gonorrhea is a new protocol as per CDC. I read through about it in the web to make sure it is a new requirement, and it's a Fact.

So i had the screening done.

my thoughts to you is just follow what USCIS is requiring you to do, no more no less. ?

EAD is now in my area, perhaps will receive it tomorrow. (supposedly today but the Hurricane caused a potential delay for the delivery).

Just want to share my situation in case others will also encounter same things:

I had an RFE for incomplete vaccination worksheet done in Manila. But the civil surgeon in my area had to redo the full medical exam up to vaccination certification (well, it's alright to have another one though).

Just wanted to share why I think another medical exam is needed for k1 AOS applicants. The civil surgeon told me there was a new test needed for the intending immigrants, such that a URINE test for Gonorrhea is a requirement. They said the CDC just recently released the that policy and I was one lucky applicant to have it done.

So now, we're ready to mail the NEW I-693 and expecting a nice progress.

Just got done completing my requested Medical exam ( guess an RFE) last week. After paying almost 500$ to complete everything to include x rays ,blood work, Vaccination records that was done already in Phil. I was told in the end by the immigration doctor that the reason I had an RFE was my incomplete vaccination that was done in Philippines . Philippine immigration medical staff did not answer all the vaccination questionares!!! How the heck are they employing medical staff that dose not take us of forms seriously? They think that doing their job halfway is good enough??? Makes me mad coz it caused a delay , an RFE, $$$ on me and time wasted and to include STRESS!!!!

I put my middle initial not my full middle name on my medical... I don't even know at what point they open your medical at but I have yet to receive an RFE so I'm assuming it's not an issue

USCIS is asking for vaccination certificate from a civil surgeon. When i went to see a civil surgeon here, they did a new medical exam as part of the 1-693 instead of only accomplishing the vaccination part of the form.

this is in connection with my post about rfe (initial evidence for incomplete vaccine).

I already had my civil surgeon signed a newly accomplished I-693, and therefore i did a full medical exam again.

My concern is this, On part 1 of 1-693, they did not include my MIDDLE NAME. Just my Last Name and First name. Will it matter for the USCIS to have an incomplete full name in part 1?

It's already sealed and ready to be sent.

I have another question that you might be able to answer.

On my RFE letter it says:

"Applicant must furnish a current vaccination report using form I-693, along with Page 1 of form I-693."

So if I understand that right I do NOT need the whole form I-693 but only page 1 and page 5, which is the vaccination record?

I got the same rfe. My ds 3025 was not complete and needs a vaccine certification from a civil surgeon.

I visited a civil surgeon this morning and said i must redo the whole parts of I-693. Even if i higlighted the instructions of I-693 re k1 for aos. The dr there doesnt want to transcribe or certify my vaccines without completing the other portions of I-693. I have no choice but did the full medical exam. It costs me 150.

Im just wondering why others were not asked for a vaccination certification by a civil surgeon? Whereas some from the Philippines had the same situation about vaccination worksheets. Others got approved without asking any RFE with the submitted ds3025 just same as mine??
