wow, thanks for all the comments! Well we called fidelity for the 4th time, we had one person say they submitted a request to write a letter to state i am the beneficiary and it may or may not come..in the meantime i have a screenshot from the online portal and one statement showing the funds which is under my husbands name. I will update everyone on this when the letter arrives/doesn't arrive.
As for the credit card statements, they do not show any numbers on either purchases, so still trying to figure this one - probably just going to show the two cards under both names, and a few statements even if they aren't under my name. not much more i can do!
We have a pretty good amount of additional evidence, a home title, car insurances, home insurance, health insurance, bills, wills, and debit and savings accounts so i think we will be ok?!

I'm sorry you have to deal with this and stressing out. I'm trying to think what I would do, but I can't come up with anything else. I can't imagine they can't provide a document that states that you are the beneficiary.
I know, it really is crazy! I will call myself and try for the 4th time. will let you guys know if i manage to get anything.

Two options for the credit card:
1) photocopy both of your cards, showing you have the same credit card number --> same card account
2) call your bank and ask if they can send you a letter that states one of you is the primary user and the other is an authorized user
(we've done both of these at various times through the process)

Yup, he told them we needed it for immigration. Our bank numbers are different on the credit cards, but the statements don't show the bank numbers on them.. this is really stressing me out. I will ask for a letter off the bank but i just feel 3 years of statements would have been better. And the fact all of our savings are in the 401k doesn't help

Aren't they supposed to send you statements for tax purposes?
yup they have statements online and my name is not on it, even though i am the 100% beneficiary :/

I recall when my husband put me on the 401K that they send us a ton of mail.
Not everyone has access to a computer or Internet, they should be able to send you a copy.
Yup it seems ridiculous... Fidelity is a huge company. My husband called 2 times and all they have is a screenshot.

Do you have any paperwork when you applied for 401K and the life insurance?
And mail stating that they accepted the application?
My husband told me it was all online...(i;m not sure how much I believe him though, lol) I DO have a form for life insurance which they sent back, a photocopy of the life insurance application with men it which I guess will have to do..
-
We have joint credit cards for 3 years and I'm not on the statements, even though I have my own card and we both use them. I am on the debit card statements though..
****401k with fidelity - they just say the only thing we can print is the screenshot online?! My name isn't even on statements either...
life insurance - they also don't have anything over then a screenshot online.
Please help! It is ridiculous we can't seem to get hold of some important things

I read the actual letter or policy and i thought i read it's for those 6, but something will be followed world wide for the embassy process or vetting process to be precise
wow so there is going to be another order soon for worldwide? Hope it doesn't affect ROC.. they're already taking a year at least..
-
so is it going to take longer for ALL countries/nationalities, or for 6 i think countries wrote in the article?
-
Am I OK to travel back to uk for a week in August? Do i need to gt anything from the embassy since it expires within 3 months.
Thanks

Great! Glad we don't need to pay a tax man hundreds for one silly error! Will make sure to both have 1 on this years w4! Thanks so much

I was about to file our taxes and looked at my husbands w2 and noticed it says exemptions/allowances federal: 3, I looked at last years and it says the same thing. We do not have any children. Mine says 0 for this year and last year. I tried to ask around and google if this is a problem and it seems as long as when we file our taxes we don't claim dependents we don't have we are fine, the issue is we now will pay more than we would if he had just put 2. He has now changed it to 2, and i will keep mine as 0. Honestly, we both don't really understand taxes at all clearly.
Just looking for some guidance and advice on if this is ok, we will be applying for roc soon and i know they will want to see tax transcripts.
Thanks!

really? damn it, well i hope DPS ignores that long email i just sent them lol. My first two liscenses expired on my visa dates so assumed the same would happen for this.

Texas. Definitely wouldn't tick a box saying i am a citizen but don't recall a question asking to be honest, i did give her my green card though which made it very clear i was not but not sure she looked at the expiration date. My old license said 'limited term' this one doesn't.
-
Well no because i am concerned that the woman selected i am a citizen, and i don't want to look like i am misreping anything

So the title says it all really, my GC is due to expire next year and i had to renew it as it had the date of the work permit. When i went to renew and change the address she took a scan of my green card, i had to actually tell her to look at my green card, not sure if she knew what she was really doing. Today i received it and it expires in 2022, i thought it would be the last date on my green card. I have a feeling this is incorrect?! I feel like i am always fixing other peoples mistakes in this country nothing like this goes right

hmmmm you didn't get documents at closing????Of course you did, send them the closing packet.
No. Please read above comments. I am trying to work out which document USCIS need. i have about 200 docs and doubt they want them all.

I just found a page in the photocopied book we got from them, it states DEED OF TRUST is this enough? It doesn't really look official or anything, its just half a page of a photocopied document, not stamped or anything!
-
Geez, so i need to get the deed asap! Can;t believe they didn't mention it to me. Thank you!
-
I'm not sure! we just signed for it a few days ago is it supposed to just arrive in the mail? I thought because the lender technically owns the house until we pay off the mortgage that we wouldn't receive a title!?
-
We just bought our first home! yay. I just looked through the documents and i'm not really finding a document that i can submit to prove we bought a home together, we don't have the title as we have a mortgage. the only doc i have is the mortgage payments. is this enough? Am i supposed to have a deed?
-
Great, thank you for the answer. Did you also apply for a mortgage with a UK student loan?

yup, you do. I had the same issue - i also didn't know that it was even on my record so my previous visas i answered no to the question. and got my visas fine.. it wasn't until we got a lawyer for our green card that i realized it still exists.. and i answered yes to the question. it wasn't an issue though. i just got my police certificate and the deeper information request (i didn't go to court or anything, i was 14 and my friend stole something from a store!(i didnt even participate so i was very annoyed and shocked it was even on there!)
