My is since August 24 2015 the update only when senator and congress respective ask for updates

Not yet we are waiting

It's almost 6 month and still under administrative processing. I don't know until when !!!!

Today they sent in email for my cousin from Cairo embessy that they issued his visa after 4 months in administrative processing

I sent an email to the embassy today, do you know how long it takes for them to update?

I sent an email a couple of weeks ago and it never showed a change in updated date. Could ir be that I am not sending it to the right address?

They don't reply. The last email I emailed them was a month ago. They reply to my Congrsmen and they touch the case and replyied to them that it still under administrative processing

My wife medical is about to expire in January 26 and she has been in AP 4 months

I think they will stamp the passport. By the way my wife also interviewed on August 24th and her medical will end also on January 20. They update the file Dec 16 becuse my Congrsmen requestes

My was updated when they recived emails fro senators and congressmen that's why . They have not done anything yet

Today my case had been updated after 3 months of been frozen

My wife was asked only for wedding photographe but it still administrative processing at Cairo embessy for almost 4 month

I think that senators or congressional representatives are not serous when they sent an emails to the us embessy abroad that's why they convince them by saying its a national security matter . They should tell them you have to choice deny or approve the case

I have a friend who was stuck in AP 6 months, and it was definitely (not just maybe) her congressman who prompted the consulate to take their case out of total snooze mode and make a decision to either deny or approve, but to no longer just leave it sit there stagnating. Thank God the choice was to approve it.

My case is stuck at AP around 5 months now after interview day. Co didn't ask for any additional papers. We alway email and called embassy . They replied same answer . Then me and my husband decided to go to embassy together . They asked us to do interview again then we did and they said they will contact us in 2 weeks . Now we are still waiting ....

Which embessy is that ?

Its been passed 60 days after his interview, about to be 90 days still no hope from the embassy. All they say is the same old "be patient, each case varies" Can anyone shed any light?? They say im not allowed to speak to the counselor when I tried to schedule an appointment. And his medical exam will expire next month as well as his affidavit of support since I have to file the tax for this year. What can I do?

The us councilates respond to inquiries from senators or congressional leaders faster then us , that's why we ask for help from them even though they don't change anything

Every time I check it says administrative processing and the last time updated when they recived pctures in September 8. They updates 8,9,10,11,13,14 and since then it's September 14th. I think becuse of my wife birth certificate. I sent the organil birth certificate to NVC in 2011, and it was miss spelled my wife last name by 3 letters . I tried to Chang it but it was hard because of the war going on in Yemen, so I made another birth certificate according to the passport. So I think that's the delays.

I hope the congressional inquiries would do something
