Yes it was an odd question. I was thinking if to myself "does it matter?" On the I-130 you give an address where you intend to live and in London you give an address where you intend to live at the medical. I think he wanted to check I was still going to live at that address.

Omg I need to memorize the adress , I was thinking mentioning the state will be enough

I mean how can u know the adress where u never been so hard for me to understand

I thin as far as you didn't visit that country after the issuing of the certificate it should be fine

I have same case and am just taking the one i received and submitted to NVC

I was wondering when they ask where you will be living in the US ~ are they asking state or full address???

I'm going to write a full review but the questions he asked were:

- how long have you known your husband?
- how did you meet him?
- how do you communicate?
- can he speak German (because I lived in Germany for a long time and am bilingual)?
- how long were you in Germany for?
- what did you do there?
- where will you be living in the USA?
- how is your joint sponsor known to you?
- are you fully aware of all the details of your husband's criminal record?

Then he asked about my parents and how long my father worked overseas and in which countries.

He asked when I planned to move and I told him I have a job offer for a position that starts in January. He asked about the job (name of the company and job role).

Then he said he had to make some notes.

He typed for a while. Then he said he has approved my visa.

My hubbys interview is January 10!!! ) im so excited I bought my ticket last week for the holidays to see him and I will get to be there when he goes to his interview !!

Case completed on November 16th. No interview date yet.

I called and been told that NVC sent our pre screen result to embassy in seoul requesting interview date electronically same day as our CC (16th nov)

Then type * Shipper´s Reference: EXP 17 NOV 2016A or EXP 18 NOV 2016A then check the package that is being sent to your country. Based on what I read, I see most of the time they send the documents after scheduling the interview and confirm it with the embassy

Guys, can anyone tell me how you you track DHL for doc from NVC to embassy?

Also do they send doc before or after scheduling interview?

Kim-Indy, from what your note says, you didn't HAVE a US W-2 for 2015, right? All your income was from Korea, right? This is why you got the RFE. The checklist that NVC has requires a US W-2 and you didn't send one in, because the USC was working in Korea.

Don't worry. What is happening to you is that your file didn't EXACTLY match NVC's requirements. Just bring a written explanation for why you cannot submit a US W-2 (just write it on a piece of paper), and then have a copy of the USC's IRS 2015 Tax TRANSCRIPT with you at the interview, as well as a copy the letter from the US employer (just in case).

The NVC is very literal as they go through their document requirements. That's really what NVC is all about. So if your file doesn't exactly match up with the requirements in their book, then you get an RFE. (And often, their instruction book is outdated!)

But....they do understand that some people DON'T match their requirements exactly. That's why they are asking you to take the documents to the interview.

You'll be fine, but do get a 2015 TRANSCRIPT to take with you.

well actually we did submitted the W2 which is combined of US and korea tax return and also working certificate from US company where my husband work.

it's true that 2015 income are almost from korea until 2015 October as he started working in US nov 2015.

As you said i will just take the both US and korea tax return w2 form and letter from current company .. that way they can see that he's still working there .

let's hope this will fine

Don't panic, we also got a checklist after CC!

Ours said pretty much the same thing, apart from we needed an IRS Transcript from 2015. Just make sure that you have it so that you can show them again at the interview. I panicked big time when I first saw the e-mail, but was relieved to see that they were still scheduling the interview!

Anyone had checklist email sent after confirming cc by phone?

we couldn't really understand so we are having our lawyer to check

while we will schedule your case for interview

they said that we need to submit w2 form financial evidence for 2015

however we did send it with the package ... ( for info my husband and i lived in S korea so the tax for 2015 from korea are included and we also sent them a letter from his new employer in US with his annual salary)

they are also stating TO not send anything back to NVC and to just give all the doc to the visa applicant who should present them to officer during interview

I am in the same situation with a transcript. Case complete and then got a check list but they are letting me bring it to interview rather than send it to the NVC and wait goodness knows how many weeks for them to review it.

I included the tax return in the package but they want the transcript at interview. Do you still have a copy of W2 that they want?

Well i guess taking it to interview is a way better than sending it back to NVC , which is good for us

but what transcript you are talking about?

Am sure my lawyer has it or my husband ~ but it's just frustrating as they didn't really mention what's wrong with the submitted one..

Or maybe they lost it????? can this happen?

I sent my aos packet first and they received it on oct 4th they my husband sent the rest and recived it on the oct 14th does it mean my scan date is oct 14?

Hey, I got CC (nov 17 via phone), with supervisor review last Nov 4 and scan date last Sept 21.

The agent told my husband that at the end of each month the embassy sends a list of available appointments and there is often more people than appointments. It's first come first serve. So we may have to wait a month if I don't get scheduled in December. I also read from Manila Embassy's site that schedules for Nov 2016 are tight because of APEC Summit, so we may be in a long queue, if that's the case.

Anyone with CC and no interview sched in Manila Embassy here to confirm this? Thanks!

We have same scan and cc date but am in seoul not manila

let's hope we get this interview scheduled soon for me they said to call within 10 days to receive interview date

From my experience once they say document review you get cc within a week .. so try to call them every 2 days

As long as none of them is expired or within one year from issuance no need to get a new one. But if they are then you have to. I submitted an old pcc and was reminded in my case complete letter to get an updated one.

Actually i got all the police certificates the time when i submitted NVC package so around august thus, within a year and i didn't go back to any of those countries after that. however i think they expire within 3 month from issuance isn't it?

So am so confused

And when we called today they never said anything about it ? maybe they will do in the CC letter

Just bring the originals of the police certificate you already submitted to NVC.

Am planning to do so, they will probably request it if needed

Also have question concerning Police clearance certificate, do they ask for new one to provide on the interview date or just originals of what we sent?

i had to get 3 as i lived in diff countries and hope i don't have to request them again as it takes long time

good afternoon! has anyone with September 27th, 28th or 9th scan dates received a CASE COMPLETE YET?

I'm September 22 and no CC yet!! I got put on supervisor review Nov 4th

they told me same that day than next day they said you should expect 6 weeks on supervisor ~~ so shocking

hope they get it done faster i wanna be with my hubby for holidays as well
