    I think gave a day 1 or 2 the aos will unlock. my experience is this

    Dec 21 I got my case number. As soon as I get my case number I went online and click on (CEAC) website then start the ds-261 choice of agent.

    After I finish the ds-261 I print the choice of agent confirmation for my own record. so I can review my papers. I guess I like printing everything haha.. then I sign out then sign back in hoping the AOS and IV fee is unlock so I can start to pay oh well it wasn't hehehe.. check again tomorrow.

    Dec 22 sign in in CEAC website. yehey! AOS ready to pay after I paid $120.00 dollar. I print the receipt and the document cover sheet. I try to pay IV fee but it's locked it won't let me yet so I sign out. I checked my email I received the welcome letter from NVC at the same day. Of course print again. print all the email. Now need to start preparing the document for AOS I haven't prepare it yet. I'm a full time mom and my loving husband the only one that work so I filled I-864 for me and I-864A for my husband. here's the link for I-864 and I-864A form http://www.uscis.gov/forms everything you need how to fill up the form every part and number is in the instruction and the instruction is awesome They make it easy.

    Dec 29 call nvc I ask call representative if she can review my ds-261 because I can't pay the IV fee. She told me somebody already working with my case. I have to wait it take about 2 weeks. Well I guess I try to call again may be I will find a call representative that willing to review my ds-261 so I can start to pay the IV fee.

    Jan 1 call nvc I ask a same question if she can review my ds-261 and she told me she can't and It take about 45 days for them to review the ds-261 and I just have to wait. My husband said can you stop disturbing them :rofl: LOL!.

    Jan 5 I go online the the ceac website and saw the status of my aos unpaid rejected of course bug the nvc again this time I called 2pm and a nice agent answer. I told him my aos showing not paid and I already paid it dec 21 and he look at his computer he said it's rejected either I put the wrong number or I have to call my bank. And I ask him if he can unlock the IV fee also so I can pay it together. He said yes I can review your ds-261 over the phone now. He just ask me about who is the agent and what is your birthdate. And I answer it my birthday and the agent is me. He told me it will take about 7 days for them to send me the IV fee Bill before I can pay. I told him that’s ok. I ask him another question if I can submit the aos and IV document together. He said yes but I have to separate them with rubber band. me huh :huh: rubber band I think I going to use clip or folder so it's more presentable and nice then put it in 1 envelope.

    Hello November IR5 filers.. These are my updates

    Dec 9 USCIS case was sent to department of state

    Dec 15 NVC received my case from USCIS

    Dec 29 I called NVC they gave me the MNL case # of my parents DS-261 submit

    Dec 30 I paid my AOS bill 125 only for both of them

    Dec 31 I received NVC welcome letter.

    Now waiting for the invoice of IVF

    and same like you waiting for IVF to be invoice so I can start pay.

    glentot have you try to call nvc if they can review your ds-261 so you can start to pay IVF?. I've been trying but can get a nice representative that willing to do it lol! she just told me I have to wait 2 weeks.

    i have a question whats the poverty guideline for two (me and beneficiary), want to make sure a qualified as an sponsor.

    if you live in

    48 contiguous state 19, 912

    alaska 24,912

    hawaii 22,912

    for sponsor on active duty in the U.S armed forces who are petitioning for their spouse or child

    if you live in 48 contiguous state 15,930

    case was revived by NVC December 21 but they saying I got wait like 45 days to get NVC case number and invoce how long take you after they recive u case?

    nvc receive my case dec 8 they said it take about 4weeks before i can get a case number. so 13 days i got my case number dec 21. i just called nvc keep askin if i can get case number i dont follow that 4 weeks :) hehe...

    now going to keep calling for IV fee if they can unlock it. :)

    NVC recive my mom Aproved December 21 now I just waiting for case number for NVC and invoice # how long it usually take I hope be available to make the payment as soon as possible I still waiting

    now your approve check uscis everyday for update once you see it sent to department of state for visa processing call once in 2 weeks and if they told you they receive it. call once every week. once you get your case number ds-261 will be available.

    mine soon as i get thecase number the ds-261 and aos is already available and i paid the aos. the IV fee it said paid now but still lock i called nvc ask the representative if she can review my ds-261 because i can't pay IV fee if ahe can unlock it. she told me i have to wait 2weeks and somebody already working with my case. but i will keep calling until i find a nice agent that willing to do it. :D

    1. You don't need to wait for the email. Just wait a few days, it'll open up because it should've been invoiced. The IV fee, you need to wait until the DS-261 is reviewed for them to invoice it. They'll send you an e-mail once it's invoiced.

    2. You should start preparing the financial and civil documents. You can send the documents as soon as the AOS fee has been paid. The barcode is only accessible once the AOS fee has been paid. You'll need to attach this to the front of your package.

    now I paid aos print the cover letter. i receive email welcome letter print it all.

    my question is

    1. all the list of document in aos cover letter is it all about the document that the petitioner need to send?

    2. the IV fee they will send email with list of document? if yes

    all the list of document in Iv is it all about the document that the beneficiary need to send?

    I receive my case # 12/21 as soon as I got the number I go to ceac website to fill up ds-261 now i'm done with choice of agent. my question is

    1. I can't click the fee next to choice of agent. how can I pay for aos and IV fee? should I wait for their email saying pay aos?

    2. can I start fill up the affidavit of support form even if I didn't pay yet? is the barcode will print and still same even if I didn't pay yet or after i pay doesn't matter?

    I got my case number 12/21 then as soon they gave a case number I fill up the form ds-261.

    my question is

    1. how can I pay for aos? I can't click the fee it's unlock or I have to wait for their email that said pay aos?

    2. can I fill up the form affidavit of support even if I didn't paid yet? is the barcode will print even if your not paid yet it will still the same?

    I got a case number now. I forgot to ask what's next after I get this case number now time to read again lo! :rofl:

    November 20, 2015 I check the uscis website and I saw a update. My petition approve nov 20 and they will mailed the notice.
    November 28, 2015 I receive the official approval notice NOA2 in the mail
    Dec 6, 2015 I check website and I see this update.
    On December 1, 2015, we sent your case, Receipt Number LINXXXXXXXXXX, to the Department of State for visa processing. Please visit our website for general information on Consular Processing.
    Dec 7, 2015 I called NVC 603-334-0700 to get MNL and invoice number the call representative ask for case or receipt number and I told her my receipt number. she told me they don't have my receipt number in their system yet. She ask if I have a approval notice I said yes. I told her the date of approval and she try to check it again and still not in the system. she told me Its usually take up to 35days before they receive it. try to call after 35days.
    Dec 14, 2015 called NVC. The call representative told me they received my case Dec 08 but I can't get a case number yet because it's usually take about 4 weeks. Now I know they receive my case I will try to call every week.
    Dec 21, 2015 I called NVC. The call representative ask my receipt number next my name then beneficiary name and date of birth and then email address and she said how can I help you? And I asked her if I can get a case number and invoice number then she gave it. I also asked if do I need to get beneficiary number she said she can gave it to me it I wanted too And I said sure. I just get it just incase I might need it. It's not a big deal it just good to have it though.

    What are the steps you provided to prove biological relationship since there's typo error in the BC? like photos?

    I have a same issue like yours I always known my mom name is Susana then I look in my bc it was Susan then good thing she doesn't have a birth certificate. we get her a late registration but the bad side of it soon as my mom will be here and petition my siblings my mom's name in their bc was Susana so I told to my mom fix it they went to city hall were we live In Philippines fix the issue and submit some document they ask. and in my father side of story completely different I didn't petition my father yet. still fixing his bc before I will petition him his name in my bc was completely different name and last name. example his name in my bc is juan dela cruz but when he went to get his bc it was pedro panday he didn't know he doesn't have a clue why its different he ask his autie where he grow up with they tell him his grandparent change his name since he was adopted by his grand parent now its been years we fixing his bc from pedro panday to juan delacruz and lot of court hearing and cause a lot of money for me hotel and plane ticket back and fort every hearing since they told us he can't fix his bc in manila he has to fix it the place where he was born. he already had hearing pedro panday and juan dela cruz is only one person affidavit and explain what happen good thing that his auntie he grow up with as a siblings still alive as a witness. now I just waiting for courth final decision and hoping processing in phil become faster so I can petition my father soon.

    for me better fix it before you petition your mom. and bc problem in Philippines is very common lot of error I have a friend very same issue like yours her mom hired a lawyer to fix her bc they paid 50thou.alam mo naman pano tumakbo pinas pera ditto pera duon but its was fast. mine didn't hired a lawyer I just told to my parent go to city hall and figure it out how to fix their bc.

    Hi all! I got an update about our case, we are approved already!

    I have a question have you call nvc yet if they have a case ready for you?

    I just check uscis website I saw mine approve nov 20 and they will mailed me the notice.
