We're both so happy and the feeling is almost indescribable.

We're expecting the visa to be delivered today the 24th. It took 3 business days for them to deliver the visa.

And as for my husband, I am expecting him to be here by the 2nd......

To all of you here.....I want to thank each one of you for all the support you all gave to me. May God bless all of us and soon be united with all of our love ones. :D

The visa will be delivered in Cavite...

  2. My husband had his medical last Jan 11th. He got there around 5:30. He said theres around 30people ahead of him, which is not bad. He just have to wait for another hour to get inside the building. He finished everything before 11, he said that medical procedure that I got from Sheiff Uling's Signature really helped him to speed up the process.

I need to know because he wanted to visit his relatives over there before he gets a job or to settle down here in california. And i have my doubts cause he still dont have an I.D. to present nor a SS no. Hope somebody could help me with this :help: Thank you guys!!!

there should be no problem traveling inside the US. he'll have his passport and visa as picture IDs.

Thank You for your quick reply roymcn3rd. We're still preparing for his interview but we wanted to make sure we could visit my in-laws once he gets here. Again thank you!

CONGRATS!!!!! That's a great news.

    Lara

Hey Lara Good luck to both of you too!!! My husband and I were both screaming at the phone when i told him about the good news...he was kind of grumpy when i called him coz i woke him up at 1am...hehehe but after i drop the news he was giddy and got excited....Thanks Lara and I'll pray for both of our approval!!!

  6. Wow these crystal ball guesses are great.

I was wondering if these estimates will work on I-130 visas.

Since you are going by the case number, I assume all our case numbers would work the same way.

Mine is 2006775xxx so I'm hoping my interview date would be early march.

Anyone know if this chart would apply to I-130 visas as well?

    Thanks,

    Mike

Mike, I think for I-130 they schedule the interview based on the Date the Case was Completed. And those who got their case completed on August are all waiting for their schedule to come out pretty soon.....It's kind of confusing isn't it???? But dont worry were all gonna get it soon....We just need to be patient...as if its the easiest thing to do!!! Anyway, I hope you'll get it soon and Have a Good Day!!!

  7. Just another question............. Why is it when i called NVC they always telling me to try calling next week for they hasn't released the December interview date. I'm petitioning my husband for IR1......and it seems there's a few fellow VJ's here got their interview dates for next month already. I thought they supposed to release the Jan. interview dates this month. I called thrice now and I'm getting the same response from them. Does it means its still possible for some of us who are pursuing IR/CR petitions will get a Dec. interview??

  8. My petition to my husband for IR1 got approved last Sept 1st and we were just waiting for our Interview date but as we go near to that Im getting anxious to what we have to prepare as to show the validity of our marriage.

Well im in this relationship for 10 years now we've been dating since im 18 (were college sweethearts) my petition through my grandparents came and got here at 19, that was 1999. Went back after 9months spent 3 months in the philippines before going back in the us. After 9months, March of 2001 I decided to go back home again and this time I married him when i was 21. I just spent 3 weeks with him. I did not see him again not after 2 years, because he went overseas to work and because of the hassle of having 2 jobs So I went back December of 2004 stayed until Jan 2005, 3 weeks to be exact. When I got back i got my citizenship got him petitioned and now I always wanted to go visit him but we decided, (i guess sacrifice again) to just save the money since he's about to get his interview soon and just use the money to go visit his relatives here. Im from Cali and his relatives are from Georgia and Flo. And also to get an apartment for both of us to live in, since im still living with mom and dad.

My concern is in span of 7years i only visited him thrice.

    3 months in 2000

    3 weeks in 2001

    3 weeks in between 2004/2005

And after that I havent seen him again. Will this something the consul will look after. I mean do I need to see him again?

We're both bothered by the situation. Even we're both positive about the interview we still wanted to make sure we will be together soon. We want to end this journey being far from each other. I just wished us all in here to get our interview date set and be with our loveones soon. Hope no body will get bored of this long inquiry. Haha!!! God Bless you all!!! Thanks in advance!!!

  9. As far as I know you need to speak to an operator at the NVC.. keep trying !!!.. you will get to speak to somebody eventually

In span of 7 months that our papers had been processed in NVC. I haven't got a chance to speak to real people in NVC. I dont think i have that much luck!!! :crying: Hehhee!!! But anyway i've got to try it again..this time i wont stop till i get hold of them. Thanks Iquin for your response!!! :)

Don't bother Manila embassy, Most of the IR/CR1 in Philippines waited 3 to 6 months on their interview. NVC are the one who scheduled the interview and they do schedule the appointment on the 2nd week every month. I'll try to call on this Friday 15th if my application has been already scheduled for the interview if not probably next week. Goodluck

    JunCeL

JunCeL...Is that so??? Hmmm...So meaning to say we will not recieve anything from the NVC stating when they send or forward our case to Manila US EMBassy??? Gosh...They're So much guessing involve in getting through our journey......Hope i wont be long though.....I hate to think that i'm not going to spend another christmas and new year with my husband again for the 7th time...Ouch! REality does really bite!!!

Anyway, I'll do the same i'll call by the end of the week. I'll see what will they say this time! Do they schedule an interview 3months in advance???? Sweet!!! CAnt wait to know that!!! Good Luck to you and your family too!!! God Bless!!!

  10. Just want to know how will i know if our case has been forwarded to Manila Embassy. Our case has been completed since SEpt. 1st and Im always trying to talk to somebody at NVC but I cant seem to get somebody its always telling me to call back due to the volume of calls they are getting!!! :( . Should I just call the Manila Embassy to ask or will they send me a letter telling me that its been forwarded to Manila???

  11. Does anybody here knows how long the NVC will forward the case to Manila after the case has been completed. I'm petitioning my husband through IR1 and he's asking me when he will probably get his interview. I know only a few of us doing IR in here its hard to compare.... Thanks in advance.=0)

It doesn't take long at NVC (usually 2-4 weeks) but I'm not sure for IR cases. Judging from jpg and joel&analyn's case, which took 11 months and 9 months from NOA2 to interview date, respectively, your husband should be in line for the interview soon. Watch out for the next appointment bulletin, his case number might be listed already. I know it's hard but just a little more wait, sweetie :clock:

Thanks for the reply Patiently waiting.....I really do hope for them to issue an interview date really soon although I doubt it cause i forgot to mention at my inquiry that the Case has been completed just last Sept.1 I actually need to call manila embassy to ask if they recieve the case from NVC. I havent seen my hubby for 2 years now and weve been in a long distance relationship for 7 years....Good thing like you he's "Patiently Waiting" for me!!!! Good Luck to your journey and to your better be half. I really wish you could be with your love one soon!!! Thanks so much!!!

  12. Im back with another silly question  ....hehehe!!! I finally got all the documents to send to NVC but I while checking the checklist I got bothered..... I ask my husband to obtain a police clearance and I got them but it said on the checklist that the police clearance needs to cover the entire period of the applicants residence in that area but i cant find that in my husbands police clearance.

This are the list of the information given in his police clearance:

His name, address, date of birth, place of birth, findings saying he got no derogatory record, purpose of issuance, validity, his tax certificate no., date issued and where it is issued.

I really dont know if i need to ask him to go back and acquire another clearance where it states how long he's residing in the place where he lived in.

I hope somebody here could help me in my dilemma.......Im too close to lose my mind....hehehhe!!!!

    Thanks in advance!!!

  13. Im the petitioner and I'm suppose to send back the DS-230 to NVC but I think Ive read it here somewhere that I have to attached his biographical information on his passport together with the form....Is this true??? Am I missing something.....I read the packet over and over but cant find the information regarding this.... ..........................Please fellow VJ's help!!! By the way he's from the Philippines! :star:

  14. Now I know why they rushed to filed the I-130 first.......she's on a student visa and her visa expired last year..... :help: Dont know what to tell her now....Her husband is on a military duty right now so he cant help that much but had left her all the necessary documents... i hope so.....Do anyone here knows the procedure or does she have to do something different in filling her AOS? Or just carry on with the regular procedure of doing it so? Thanks to you all!!!

  15. Just want to make sure Im doing the right thing....=0) For CR-1 petitions..... Do I just have to send the NVC my husband signed and filled up forms DS-230 I and II together with his biographic page of his passport? Or am I missing something??? Thanks so much!!! I cant wait to see and be with him again....I was hoping to send this packet as soon as monday next week...Again thanks to my fellow VJ's here in this forum!!!

  16. My friend got married to a USC. And filed for I-130 got her petition approve...so now she have to file another petition for Adjustment of Status. My question is does anybody knows what she have to do with the I-693 medical examination.....Can she just go to a family doctor and have it done there??? Or can she send the whole package and wait for them to give her more info on how to get it done???? Thanks in advance..... ;)
