In September 2015 I submitted an application for a Visa K1 for my girlfriend, (lesbian coupke)and we got approved today Feb 17, 2016. I would like to thanks this site Visa Journey and all the members for sharing information and giving advice. If it wasn't for this site I would've been lost. I was able to download all my forms from the site, I don't have words to describe how grateful I am.

Our interview was at 7am, we got there early and didn't have to wait much to be called at the window. The lady asked us to give our names and addresses, how long we have been dating, and about my previous marriage and my girls marriage past status. Then we were told to sit and wait, that took like an hour and half.

When called for the 2nd time we went to a different window, different person, acually 2 people, we got sword at the window and our interview started there lol

Questions we were asked:

Consul: when did you guys met? Date?

How long you have been dating?

Us: gave date and online dating site,

Consul: both asked repeat the name?

Consul: how Long did you stayed on your first trip? And did you stayed with family?

Consul:( to my girl) when did you met your girlfriends daughter?

And that was the end of the interview, she smiled and said Congratulations your Visa has been approved. My girl screamed haha drama queen lol, and we wanted to kiss but knew we couldn't do that in public since there were children in the premises and we respect them. So we just kissed in the cheek. Happy couple, thanks to President Obama whom gave us Gay couples the opportunity to share the same benefits as heterosexual couples, we are all equal we love, cry, work, pay taxes, etc just like everyone else. what type of RFE was it? I got one and it was about International Marriage Broker question they had on how I partener and I met, I responded with the evidence they requested and in 6 days USIS responded adn said our case was sent to NVC.

wow Sorry to hear that, it is nice to show off a beautiful girl as your wife but if she doesn't appreciates or respects you what good is it? Clearly you guys dont have much in common, she likes to spend money she doesnt work for and most likely she will vanish once she has her papers honey, and at that point you are going to suffer more because you are goin to feel used and nobody likes that feeling. So I suggest you act ASAP and open your eyes! Counseling doesn't work that is for fools!

Hi I got a RFE 2 weeks ago, just write an email to the site, tell them you need to know if they are a IMB if not to state it on the letter. Read their terms and conditons and most likely they will say if they are or not a IMB. Because okcupid.com says it on its term and conditions.

I received a letter from USCIS requesting the same information, my fiancee and I met online on latinamerican cupid, but on the form I29f i didnt answered NO to the question if we met through a IMB, my question is did you guys answer No as well on your application?

today I received a "Request for evidence from USCIS Dept. they want to know if we met through a Intenational Marriage Broker (IMBRA) which we did not, we met on an online dating site.

My question is if we met online what do I send as proof that we met on a dating site and also neither of us filled out the dating site agreement, we didnt know this existed. What should I write on my response to them. I dont want to write something and get deny for some nonsense.

I need help on this one please.

I got a notice today from USCIS requesting additional information, is this a bad? Im thinking probably because I am lesbian and requesting my girlfriend from Dominican Republic.

Has this happened to anybody else? I have to wait for letter in the mail to find out the information they are requesting, ugh!
