Sorry for the confusion in my question guys. Actually, Greenbaum is correct, as I was asking about how long it would take USEM to process my request.
I am worried that I will not have all documentation by the interview date, but I have no concerns about sending in the documents after my interview (probably within 1 week after my interview if not earlier). I just wanted to know whether this RFE would delay my visa issuance (i.e., how long will it take for USEM to process the documents).
It sounds like 2-3 weeks is the norm then? That is acceptable, but it would be terrible if the processing time were months instead of weeks.

Assuming you go to the interview and you get an RFE for something, but you are able to mail in the documentation immediately, how long will it typically take for US Embassy in Manila to review the documentation and clear the item and approve the visa?
I am asking because there is a slight to medium likelihood that one of the police clearances requested by my fiancee will not reach her by the time her interview date comes up. In addition, I've noticed that they seem to not have opened up any dates in 2016 for interview booking at this time.

Thanks everyone. So I found out the reason for the delay is that due to the APEC Summit, the was yesterday or the day before was considered a national holiday and no processing was performed. I checked it again today and it has now gone through

We are having an issue setting up the interview on the https://cgifederal.secure.force.comwebsite. It has been about 28 hours since my fiancee has paid the $265 MRV fee at BPI bank. The website is giving me the following error message when entering the receipt number:
"No valid record can be found for the entered receipt number. Please validate that your receipt number is correct and that you have paid the correct amount for the visa which you are applying for."
Do you guys know if this is a common issue and is just a matter of waiting longer for the information to get updated into the website, or should I be concerned and start taking further actions at this point?

How long are you willing to hang out in Manila?
I think we'd be willing to wait around a week after the interview date. I guess we are unlikely to be able to pick it up a week after?
-
Not needed but certainly doesn't hurt to make things crystal clear. I try to ensure that there is a cover letter in each individual mailing that I send out.

The whole intent to marry thing is just ridiculous and archaic to begin with. It should just be something you sign as part of the petition form. Like signing a letter of intent is going to deter anyone who intends to commit immigration fraud.. lol

My fiancee is from Mindinao. We are thinking of waiting in Manila after the interview to personally pick up the visa and passport upon approval. Can you guys comment whether this is advisable or is it better to have them mail everything back to Davao? How long is it expected to take to pick up in Manila vs receiving in Davao? Thanks!

Hi guys,
On VisaJourney's K1 Process Flowchart page (http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1flow), under Forms and Checklist sent to Beneficiary (step #8), it states the following:
"This will be sent out within a week (typically less) from when the embassy processes the received petition. This package will include a checklist of items and paperwork that must be collected. Some will be sent back asap, and others will be sent back later or brought to the interview."
Does anyone know what is the paperwork that must be sent back ASAP? I am guessing that they are referring to the DS-160. Other than that, would everything else that my fiancee needs be brought to the interview itself? Thanks!

That is your NOA2 and they probably made a clerical error when putting in the date. Should read 11/13/2015.

What would be the best time to start collecting documents for Affidavit of Support? We just got our NOA2 so the petition would spend about a month at the NVC and then another couple months till the interview.
I don't think they would want a couple months old documents. How old is too old?
Also how long does it take to collect all the documents? I know it can vary but based on your experience, how long did it take you to collect all needed documents?
They probably aren't going to trip out over it unless they're 6-12 months old.

I believe that my fiancee did have to take coursework and her clinicals concurrently with her coursework. However, I'm not 100% sure, and I'll have to ask her. However, she has not passed her board exams in the Philippines yet and she will not be able to pass them before coming to the US.
Assuming that her education might not transfer over 100%, would it make sense for her to continue studying for the Philippines boards while in the US and fly back to try to pass it, or would it not make a lot of sense?
Or would it be better for her to study and for and pass the exam in one of the states outside of California, and would she be able to transfer the license from another state to California?
Sorry, not really well versed in this topic, since I am not in the healthcare field, but I'm trying to do some preliminary research for her. -
You need a request from consulate that it is required from you and evidence you were in singapore work permit or passport stamps letter from employer
You will need to fill out the appeal letter and the letter from the Embassy specifically asking for the PCC from all countries you resided.
If submitting and collecting in-person, their process is about 1 week long nowadays.
Good luck
I spoke to someone at the Singapore Police Force today and they stated that we are not required to wait for a letter from the Consulate. The NOA2 is acceptable evidence of a need for the CoC and they will process the appeal based on that.

You have to send her a new signed Letter of Intent, so send the signed 134 form as well. Read the Guides.
Thanks for this. Almost forgot about the new letter of intent. I will send it along with the i-134.
-
So based on reading elsewhere, I believe I'm supposed to submit to my fiancee. However, does this have to be the original signed version or can it be a PDF that I email to her for her to print out?
-
Just curious, where am I supposed to be sending the Affidavit of Support and associated evidence? To my fiancee or to NVC or what?
-
It's for an I-129F.
And the costs to use 2Go/FedEx from Phils to US is 57 dollars.
These fools never heard of email and Docusign

Hello all,
Is it okay to add more documents other than what the RFE asks for?
I was ask to provide a letter of intent to marry coming from me (beneficiary) and I wanted to add more documents:
- Chat conversations and Call logs - we didn't include it in sending the I-129F package, only proof of meeting in person, like tickets, boarding pass, pictures of us together and my family and the engagement.
- My updated G-325a - mother has a different name on her birth certificate and had a mistake of following it instead of copying what was on my birth record.
- Updated fiancé's letter of intent to marry - there were dates on the letter that is inconsistent with the actual facts (i.e. his actual arrival in Philippines).
Thank you all for reading my post and for everyone who will respond
I don't see wrong with this. In fact, it would probably be a good thing. However, to avoid confusion, I would include a cover letter that states what additional documents were enclosed and the reason for providing them.

Has anyone actually received an RFE for sending in a copy that was received via email as opposed to the signed original?
-
My fiancee also had stalkers on fb. The majority of them (but not all) went away after she declared that she was getting married.
-
No it not common in USA, only common in California and few other states, not rejected but have to take some more classes.
You can look at moving to another state, Reports are that nurse even with experience are having difficult finding work in California.
California political view of being liberal the last few years has hurt California and a lot of companies have left California.
I was spent some time in Los Angles and San Francisco I was shocked to see how dirty LA has become and so many homeless people there, and San Francisco is dirty and smells like sewer. Amazing what has become of these two cities in the last decade.
Thanks for your reply. To be fair, I think SF has always been a sewer, haha.

Does the Certificate of Clearance typically get sent back to the requester's home address or does it get sent directly to the Consulate in Manila?
-
I see, it makes sense given that it is a 90 day visa.

I have read that a DS-160 has to be completed at some point as part of the K1 process. However, I had a glance at at the form and noticed that it is an "Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application". Given that the K1 is an immigrant visa, I don't understand why we have to complete the DS-160?
Also, I have received the NOA2. but nothing yet from NVC. Would I be able to complete the DS-160 now or would it not be acceptable as it is too early?
I'm here to ask questions and get some advice.
