Does anyone knows if you need to show proof of your relationships for CR1 interview in Colombia? They dont ask for any in the instructions...

Other question, do I have to translate everything to English or its ok the ones in Spanish,,,,

And, to what documents do I have to take photocopies, if I have all the originals,

Hi, if any one can help please.... I have my interview for cr1 in colombia, but they are asking me for the 380 fee that was paid for by my husband to the NVC, what can I do now? They ask for the Afidavit suport which was sent to the NVC aswell, do we have to pay again and get al the paper work again?

As far as i know NVC send all the paper work to bogota, why are they asking for the same stuff..

Hi, I'm from France, and I just got my visa, so my plan is to go to the states in November so I will receive a stamp on my visa then, a month after I'd like to go back to France for xmas for 3 weeks, then re-enter to the states. Will my stamp on my visa would allow this kinda travel. Or once I get in the states I have to wait a certain amount of time before leaving the country?

You can go whenever you want as long as you dont stay for over 6 months,,sure you canleave america,,,dont worry

A friend of mine entered the US as a tourist visa and she got 6 months. Some days before her months expired, she requested Political Asylum and she gained 4 more months.

Since tought it was going to be easy and fast, and it really wanst, she decided to marry a american citizen and he aplied for her adjustment of status.

I told her she was completely nuts cause its obvios they will see she is just trying to stay...

What do you guys think? Isnt it crazy?

It is not against the law to use the visitor visa (same was VWP) in the middle of process. But the burden is on you to provide evidence that you do not have the immigration intent with this visit. Basically, you need to prove that you will be returning to your home country and wait out the process. Other people have done it, so it can be done.

The chances of getting a visitors visa is slim to none, as CBP believes your spouse has immigrant intent. And then, even if you get the visa, there are high chances for a denial at the POE.

Im not going to apply for it, cause I have it. My question is if I can go for one month and come back for my interview.

Hey guys Im still waiting the letter from NVC were they ask me to send ds-230 and the photocopy of my passport.

My question is we are planning to see each other in the US and take a trip to anguila. I have to enter immigration in miami to go puerto rico-anguila. This will be for one week and then I will stay for vacations for 3 more weeks. One month in total. Ive had my tourist visa for over 10 years and always went for one or two months a year.

Is there a problem is I want to enter for a month, even if im in middle of my spouse petition visa?

LOL, this topic is really funny... Im Colombian married to a american citizen and he had to explain me some stuff to hehehehe I shouldnt be making fun of myself or my country but here it goes...

1-He explained me that if you send a check or money in a envelope trou mail it wint get lost.

2-He told me I had to obey the lights, green is green and red is red, even if theres no one around or if its really late and no one is around.

3-He had to explain me that when you get a ticket, there is no way you can convince a cop from writting it.

4-You dont need to make 2 hours lines in a bank, you stay inside the car.

Hi, I enter the US with my tourist visa and got married with a american citizen. I came back to my country and he applied for CR1, it was aproved and Im waiting for my interview. I have my marriage certificate certified copy with me, ,,,Im sorry if this question sounds dumb,,, but... Am I legally married in my country (Colombia)? Or do I have to take our US wedding certificate to make it valid in Colombia? Thanks...

Im colombian and he is america citizen,,,las year we got married in the US and I came back to get ready for out Church Wedding, meanwhilw he file form I-130 in USCS. I got a proved and the NVC requested him 380 dollars, adafit suport I-864, then they sent me here in colombia a form to set a person or agent in america, not Im waiting for the package with the appointment here in the embassy in colombia. My husband iss not coming to the interview...

Hi, my husband (american citizen) and I got married and I came back to my country (latin america), he filed for me I-130 me as a inmediate relative (spouse). He already send the adafit support, he paid the US$380, and the paper work regarding to his las marriage divorce. BUT...

Im having my interview soon and they ask me for tha same stuff again, even the 380!!!! Do they send this checklist to everyone, without seeing what the petitioner send to NVC in the US?

Do I need to ask him to send me another adafit suport? His divorce papers? and what about the 380 dollars!!

HELP!
