Congrats! Did you expedite or place SR? I'm still waiting with no RFIE/RFE

Thanks! I placed a SR a month ago and I received a letter in the mail like one week later saying that my case was under revision and that I was going to receive an answer shortly (a month later, that's "shortly" to them). I didn't get any RFE either that's why I was freaking out literally! This process seems endless!  And still don't know if we're getting an interview or not :( You'll probably receive an answer soon

  2. Hello Everyone!

FINALLY after 126 today I received 2 emails & text messages notifying that my EAD and AP were approved. I never thought it was going to take this long.

Last month on June 9 my AOS status changed to Case ready to Schedule For an Interview. I hope I get the interview waiver! Good luck to everybody out there looking for their first jobs here. I'll start applying for jobs in a few weeks.

Does  anybody know how long it takes from "Case Approved to Card Was Mailed"? I'd like to have an idea of how much longer I have to wait.

  3. Hello Everybody! Thank you for sharing your timelines! I thought it would be good to share with you guys how my AOS process is going since I'm one of the March filers too.

I came to the US on a k1 visa, currently living in Florida.

    AOS Package Sent: March 7.

    Received: March 9.

Check Cashed: March 17. (Last Night)

I haven't received any text message or email yet but I might get them tonight.

I'm just glad that It didn't take over two weeks, I've seen that it takes that long to some people!

Anyways, I hope we don't get any RFE! ?

    Have a great day!

    Lilian.

  4. Hello everybody! I'm really confused how about the AOS because of this...

I moved to the US in August, applied for SSN before getting married with no problem, then got married in October... here is my problem, I couldn't apply to get my name changed right away so I went last week and they told me they can't change my name until I have my green card... My question is: If I change my name on my SSN card then it won't match the name in my green card, will I be able to change the name? Or my name on the green card will be my married name?

I'm really confused about this whole thing, I should have applied to get my name changed a while ago, now I don't know if things are gonna get all complicated...

    I'd really appreciate your help!

    Thanks

    Lilian

  5. Hello, I'm Venezuelan too and my interview is schedule for July 11, I haven't heard about anyone who applied for expedite process here in Venezuela, you could try calling USCIS or NVC, but I don't think they will actually do it even though our country is going through tough times there are other countries who are actually going through wars and worse situations; in my opinion unless the american embassy in Venezuela requires them to expedite all cases due to the situation in our country, I don't think they would do it only for one case... My advise would be to be patiente, trust me, lately the process is going really fast, our case was approved in two months, then 20 days later we had our case number and 6 days later the embassy had received it... What service center was your petition sent?
