Is not that dangerous but you need to be carefull because like everywhere is people trying to take advance of others, this people pull people over asking them if they have all the documents and copies ready for the interview or they say that they can make biometrics appointment or the medical appointments for some money, NOT TRUSTH in them, you not need appointment for the clinic and you have to make your appointment for biometrics by yourself in your computer. Is a few hotels around the consulate make your reservation and Good luck to your wife!!!

After the approval USCIS send the file to NVC  (national visa center) check this website: nvc.state.gov  this web  has all the information that you need at this point.

You can do both cash and card , try to not carry to much money with you just in case, but be carefull is to many people around the consulate trying to involve you with lies not listen to them and just do what you need to do.

Why your husband not adopt your daughter? I think is your best option and then he can fill an application for you and your daughter also. Check in uscis.gov there is some topics that can help you to find out the answer.

2. Applicant Birth certificate and your own birth certificate to establish the relation between you and the applicant

3. Applicant Marriage certificate in the case the person been married more than 1 time need all the previos divorce documents

Pettitioner civil documents is your birth certificate, marriage certificate and documents like this.

Proof of relationship is only in case people filling I 864 A  this is when you have a co sponsor  But if you filled only I864 for each of your parents  you not have to send any proof.

You need the las 3 years of IRS transcripts and is the same for the tax returns.

You can check this website:  nvc.state.gov to make sure that you have all the required documents before you send documents to NVC

Hi everybody, I went in Mexico with my family after my interview in december 11th, is why I not comment anything before, my interview was really good I passed the test without problems but at the end the officer told me I not gonna make a desicion today because I have a lot to read and he showed me my file but finally today they mailed me my oath ceremony letter, so as soon I get my letter I let you know about my oath ceremony date.

Hi Omeka!!! In my case it took about 39 days to change from in line to interview scheduled.

Interview letter november 9th, Interview date december 11th, :-) OMG!!!! Almost!!!!

I had to wait for about 39 days before USCIS schedule my interview so people just be patient cause is nothing to do about this!!!! Good luck everyone!!! :-)
