Hi! i really need some advice for those who are in uae. I am a filipina working in dubai and I will be finishing my work contract this coming feb 17, 2014. I am for k1 visa interview in abu dhabi on feb 26, 2014. and planning to go home to philippines when i got my k1 visa. I was informed by my company that they will be cancelling my visa asap i finished my work. i am worried that they might not approve my fiance visa because I dont have a valid uae visa that time that i will be on interview. I also heard that there's a 1 month grace period that anyone can stay in a certatin country when visa is cancelled but im not sure if they will consider it..Does anybody here encountered the same issue as mine. help! thank you!

Hi, i just want to know what are the questions you have to answer regarding the k1 visa application? I already have an appointment in abu dhabi and im a little bit nervous coz i dont want to get denied.

We got already an instruction for my interview, I'm the beneficiary and we didn't expect it will be that fast when it comes receiving NOA2 and other notice. I am just waiting for her to give me the affidavit of support, then I will start making an appointment for my medical then for the interview.

I'm not aware about the dates we have received our notices, bec. they sending it to her mail and she just keeping me updated in what shall i do next.

July 30, 2015 - sent petition files

August 25 - i think we received NOA1

September 27 or 30 - received NOA2

October 3 - received in Abu dhabi unit

Oct..... 2015 - medical examination

Oct......2015 - interview

We're having a problem for the Affidavit of support, she's still under her mom's but the thing is that in this petition her father will be the sponsor. What shall we do ma'am?

For medical you have to wait for your appoinment letter,then 1 week prior to your interview sched your medical,for dubai police clearance I don't have any idea,because my employer got one for me,i think they need your finger prints too..you can visit any dubai police headquarters to inquire

Btw, is there any other documents you'd brought when you were having your interview? You know just in case, so I could prepare it ahead of time.

Hooray!! We have been approved today!! Woooo!! Finally, God given us hope. Prayer is so powerful. But, guys what is NOA means? Hehe. And it says in our mail that the packet has been delivered on NVC and after USCIS created our record, etc. After 2 to 4 weeks processing I will then have an interview already for the visa.. Is that really the process? I mean, we thought we will be getting more documents and stuff. But, the mail has a notice period august till december.

You need NBI which is for abroad,thats the green one,and yes interview for k1 will take place in abu dhabi usem,..you better start to apply for your nbi because it takes a while to get it,go to our consulate in dubai and ask for mbi application form,they will tell you what to do..goodluck

Thank you very much! will process it soonest. By the way, about vaccination and other medical requirements should I start taking them or I need to wait for the request first? And lastly, is there any required documents to get Dubai Police Clearance or just the emirates i.d.?

You need NBI clearance,birthcertificate,dubai police clearance..those you need to prepare once your petition is approve,other requirements is from your fiance,once your approved petition already reach Abu dhabi usem they will send a list of requirements you need to prepare and bring during your interview..

Ooh, i thought they would not be needing the NBI coz i will get the Dubai police clearance. Perhaps, i am wrong. I have my expired Local NBI (not the color green), should I renew it? Do you know how long if I renew it here? So, the interview would be in Abu Dhabi? I thought it will be held here in Dubai US embassy. Anyway, thank you for answering my queries, i appreciate it. We are both 22yrs of age, any idea how many percentage we can get? by filing this while im here in Dubai and she's in New York

I don't now anything about this, we havent consulted a lawyer and we just read and follow the instructions in I-129F.

Please I badly needed your advise guys, for us to overcome this and be together without being in a Long Distance Relationship. :'( i know you guys could relate on this.
