Ok guys thanks for the replies. I guess as long as they have strong evidences of ties in the Phils they would be granted a tourist visa. One more question though, my Dad have a history of travelling in the US for work purposes ( he's a retired officer of the Phil Army) and when I asked him he doesnt remember what type of NON-IV it was and don't remember signing up any ds160 as all papers were prepared by the Philippine Army for him. Will that complicate things since were signing up for a new ds160 ? ?? or its just me complicating things hehe need advice Thanks again..

Basically I want to invite my parents to come here in the US to attend my wedding. I am a K1 visa holder and just been in the US for 3 weeks. I just have a few questions regarding tourist visa.

1. Can my fiancee be their sponsor? or as long as they can proved they have enough money they need no sponsor.

2. Do they need to book an interview appointment with USEM separately or there is an option where they can add people on their interview slot. I know they need separate ds 160 ?

3. Do i need to send them any documents such as marriage license, NOA2 , copy of approved petition or any documents in line with my marriage since that is the main purpose of their visit?

BSN degree holders in the Phil can take NCLEX -PN only not NCLEX -RN. They have to undergo 3-6 months refresher course to be able to qualify fot NCLEX-RN exam. ?

I read on some threads that it is advisable to get a SSN after 10-14 days of arrival in the US to make sure I'm already in the SAVE system, is this right?

After getting an SSN, we can apply for marriage licence and get married. Go back to SSA office to change name.

Then we can file for i-485 for AOS with i-765 and i131 at the same time. ?

That's normal, mine took 3 days( after being issued on ceac site) to update on ustarvel docs from "passport is still with consulate" to "passport /visa being processed for delivery" . Then after half a day I wasn't able to track it at ustraveldocs ( is says invalid) so I opened 2go website, entered my UID number and voila ready for pick up at moa ?

They usually give the stickers after each session. Its good that she was booked on PM session because its much shorter compared to the morning one. When I had my seminar we started around 1 pm and finish about 3:30 pm goodluck ???

have you booked your appointment online? just print the confirmation page and show that to the guards. no need to call them.. cfo stickers are given after each session. what time is her flight and her appointment at cfo? ?
