Hi,
US Citizen here ( I know... I know ) who has Canadian Permanent residency where my PR Card expires in 8 months. I've moved back to the USA due to a Family Emergency, and I then later on married my Canadian Citizen Wife. I've also since transferred back to my US Company and my wife and I have lived here ever since.
I'm trying to figure out how to apply under SItuation 1 for living outside of Canada. Question 12 of IM5444e is where I'm being stumped. My wife's parents still live in BC, and hence we are using their address for any Canadian mail we may receive, such as a T5 tax form, so we can use that for Question 13. What to do about Question 12? It won't let me put in my US Address. Do I just use the same address as what was answered in Question 13, even though I don't actually live there?

Great news for the folks who got their NOAs today. Here's a question for those that did - Did the NOA1 notice show up on your USPS Informed Delivery e-mail??

We're all there buddy. I'm hoping for the same thing that a number of us will start getting our NOA1's...
I feel like the one or two people on the timeline who put in the timeline that they got their NOA1 ( by putting it in the NOA1 Date column) put the date they got from an e-mail or text... without actually receiving the NOA1...

Cash was checked on 09/24 in Phoenix... still no NOA... and what's bugging me is that there's still no record of our case number / receipt number when I try to check online for the case status. I'm assuming others have this problem too?

Yay! CSC received our package on 8/11 and they just cashed our check in Phoenix! Hoping for a very quick turnaround on that NOA.

Hah, I think what worries me more is that all we did was USPS with tracking, and it got delivered. that's the only real indication that we have that it was dropped off somewhere, lol!

We just tried to call USCIS about our package... of course USCIS says there is no record of one... but I have a feeling that's going to be the case for others who haven't had their cash checked?
