  1. Hi everyone, I’m asking this question for a friend. He is filling his N400 form under the 3years rule. He is currently in good standing with his spouse and they live together. What evidence is he supposed to attach under the spousal support question when him and his wife are living together. Or should he just leave that blank and move on from the page? Thanks guys

  2. Hi everyone.. so have been checking tje old site and new site and for the past two months they have both had the same notification saying" my case was transferred and a new office has jurisdiction". But for the past 2days or so the new site changed to this below..why is it saying on August 2720190905_080429.thumb.jpg.e47b8e7ff1ddff09c16d681640018451.jpg, 2019, we received your form I-751, when they previously sent me that message on July, 2018. Am tired at this point, just hoping for some positive turnaround.

Great news! I went ahead and moved out and sent a letter to uscis that we got separated. I still expressed my desire to be on the joint petition since it will take us a while to get the divorce degree. Today I got an update that my green card is being produced!!! Good luck to everyone who is still waiting!

Congratulations. Who did you talk to when you called uscis.

  5. Visa journey better stop playing with this preposterous approval estimates😑🤨🤨, btw I got a mail from uscis about the change of address I had applied for online, and they stated that the office that has jurisdiction over my case will let me know if the change of address went through or not. Is this weird or what? I first thought it was an approval notice lol🙈..they playing with my feelings

After starting to lose patience last night and little venting out, I received the below update for my case this afternoon. Does this mean I'm approved for 10 years GC?

Congratulations, maybe its my turn to vent and il receive an approval too😀. How did you get the notification? Did you check the sites or were you sent a notification via email? Were you transferred from vermont to Potomac too?

@annoj -- are you asking for yourself or a friend?

Either way, I'm not an attorney, and my advice is as good as the next random stranger on the internet but here's my 0.02:

    1) Never sign any legal document that isn't accurate or that you disagree with. Your lawyer is correct -- once you sign it, it becomes fact regardless of the reasons why you did it.

    2) You need a lawyer to arbitrate this, you cannot do it alone. Try to find some pro-bono lawyers who work with disadvantaged women in your area.

    3) You are asking the wrong question -- this isn't about "what this public record entails/will it affect her job in the future etc" --> there is no way you could understand the full scope of the implications of this now. It will always haunt you, so the answer isn't "how bad will it be if I sign", it should be "how can I get my divorce without destroying myself".

For a friend, but thanks il pass the message along

  8. Hey guys, I have a question. What happens when one's ROC is pending and their husband serves them a divorce letter and states on there that he was given habitual inhumane treatment by his wife who is removing conditions on her residency, when in reality it was the other way round and she can prove it and he is even asking her through a third party for reconciliation now. She doesnt want any property from him, just her peace of mind. She just wants to sign the document and move on because of how terrible he has treated her and all the lies he told against her. What effect will his words have against her in the future. Because her lawyer told her if she signs the paper that means she has agreed to everything he said in the paper and it will go on public record as that. She doesnt have any money to pay for lawyer to fight the case, thats why she is willing to accept it just so she can move on. But what does this public record entail, if it goes on public record will it affect her job in the future or what exactly does she need to be worried about if it goes on public record. Thank you all

83 days and counting. I spoke to my lawyer this AM to get some clarity on the situation. She said that a bunch of clients of hers were transferred from VSC to Potomac in the April and May. A few have received their approval, a few got RFEs but a majority were still waiting for any news. She also said that another client, who was transferred to Potomac in  mid March, already has his N400 interview scheduled for the middle of August. He still hasn't heard a peep about his ROC. So he's expecting a combo interview. I applied for naturalization and had my biometrics 2 weeks ago. My online profile says 4 months (November) to completion. So I hope either way, I should have a decision by EOY. For those who are able and willing, I really recommend applying to N400 ASAP. Because for most of us, that is the final goal and 751 processing seems notoriously slow.

Wow..hopefully we will hear something this August. Visa journey keeps breaking my heart by sending me approval estimates for my case for approximately March 2020😅😅😪😪
