Oh Guys thanks a lot for posts, now i am not feeling such alone, things are getting clear in my mind, cuz everything came on me in one time, i got confused and im still new in this country. I trusted my husband and came here to start a new life, but day by day things get worst, honestly thats not the first time of his abusing, since year like 2 - 3 times a week it happens, he starts fight from nothing, and also he has a drinking problem, when he starts drinking he cant stop until he passed out.

My another question - should i find a job first and then file i130

or i can file it now and start looking for a job

i mean should i have to send a letter from job or pay stubs with I 130?

Why i want my son here - my parents can't take care of him they became too old, he needs me too much, and when he will come here it would be much easier to handle the life, he can take care of his sister, and having two of my kids by my side i can handle everything.

But friends you are right my husband doesn't want my son at all...

Actually on that day when he abused me I completely decided to divorce.

the issue is he is paying for rent, im here in US like a year, during this time he didn't let me work, i passed the written test for drivers license but he doesn't want to take me to the driving test. The problem is i want to work but without car its impossible cuz we live in suburbs. Plus i have a 3 years old kid, he does not want to put her in daycare either, so confused i dont have anybody here.

Maybe it will be easy to survive as a single mom with government help???

And Im sure even If i apply to my son, this accident will affect the case cos in applications there will be my husband's name too, and his criminal record will shows up, am I right?

My husband feels sorry for that accident, he asked me to give him another chance coz we have a kid together.

i didnt know that it will turn that bad when i called the police, i was scared, couldn't breath he covered my nose and mouth for a while. When police came my lips were bleeding and swolled, so he put all these at the report. The second court is in July 24, probably judge will fine him for 5000$

Then why did you leave him in the first place? Your husband could've filed for him same time he filed for you.

Anyhow, you can't blame the system. Sacrifice is part this process. I just hope you can provide a safe home for your child when he comes here in the States.

Hi friends, I am a LPR and my husband is USC

He wants to apply to my 14 years old son (his step son)

Recently he was arrested for domestic violence, but he paid the fee and things got fixed, besides his record, it shows now that he had a criminal history.

Will it (criminal history) affect the process?

Or that would be better for me to apply to my son as a LPR

I heard if USC applies it won't take long time

please help me out
