  1. Mine is spouse and we have two kids already, he was able to get their passport issued after a dna test and,y kids went on holidays without me!!!!??it's not been easy at all for me ,myhubbyvisits regularly but not as much asi would want to, I feel lonely most times and this waiting period is really killing me,I asked him to relocate to Ghana but he said not now!!!! I need my man

Goods news!!! Just this morning I received then email with our interview date!!!

    CC: 7-7-15

    Interview Notice: 9-15-15

    Interview: 10-8-15

This means they are moving thing in Ghana!!! Keep prayerful and stay positive. Its coming!!!!

Spousal Visa Case Completed July 1, Visa appt assigned for Oct 7th.

Jubilation!!!!!!! Me too!!! Our interview is 10-8-15!!!!!!!

  2. Keep in mind, mine is for a fiance visa not a spousal. I understand spousals take longer.

Well I am happy for you anyway! I wonder why it takes spouses longer..Im staying prayerful.

My case was completed on July 16 and I am still waiting for interview date!!!!its so frustrating and annoying

Well we are all in this together! We need to encourage one another as we get through this.

  3. I've not had a problem with them thus far. My nvc sent my packet to the Ghana US embassy 8/26. We had not received a call in letter. I emailed them 9/8 and didn't get an automatic reply they said I should get but low and behold today the call in letter reached me, the petitioner, today. They said my fiance should go there any Wednesday to pick up his application then they will give him the materials AND his appointment time on that same day. They are clearly scheduling bc I see one person who went on 9/10 and got an interview for 10/21. Good luck!

Oh if this is true I will be smiling on the inside. We have waited so long for this, since March 2014. Please please please God let this be true and let us all who have been waiting hear really good news!!! Happy for you!

  4. Ours was completed on June 11th. Still waiting. I am sorry we are all going through the hardship of being away from our other half. I hope you get your interview scheduled soon. I do know they assigned interview dates to some couples already since the 10th, so if you have not called since then maybe you should. Good luck!!

I call almost everyday. This is so frustrating. what is the criteria of appointments because obviously it isn't by priority date nor on a first come first serve basis. I ask because I see how other who's case was complete AFTER me have already received their interviews. This blows my mind.

I just feel it pointless to keep calling them. Emailing them is pointless too because they take 45 days to reply to those... :ranting::ranting: :ranting: :ranting::ranting:

  5. Does anyone or have a clue on if and when they will begin scheduling OCTOBER interviews in Accra, Ghana? Our case was complete 7/7/15!!!

This is ridiculous! I know I am not the only one calling the NVC everyday getting the same scripted answer full of NOTHING.

This is terrible. I want my husband! Now Our President approved the resettlement fo thousands of Syrian immigrants...I wonder will this slow up our process!!!!

  6. When will the embassy start scheduling interviews for Accra Ghana? My case was complete 7/7/15!!!! Every time I check the status is still says AT NVC. Also, will this Syrian refugee resettlement affect our processing times and interviews? I know in the US our president agreed to take in 10K Syrian refugees....

  7. To start, I'm the USC and my hubby is the CR1 in Ghana.

As I'm reading all these awesome and informative posts (this site is very helpful BTW) I am just wondering if during the interview process did anyone NOT have it all together?

    For example:

    1. I'm reading that we should have made at least 3 copies of all docs sent to the NVC. We didn't, just one for nvc and one sent to hubby. Now I don't know whats going on cause I don't have a copy.

    2. This is our first run at this so we didn't know to capture EVERYTHING we did in photos as 'proof'. We have wedding photos, visits etc. But nothing intentional.

    3. I've only visited once for two weeks and we were married there. I came back to prepare for his arrival. We don't have a lot of money to go back and forth.

    What about this?
