Congrats to all the recent approvals. For those asking about Houston POE. The reason it took three hours was because there was a gigantic line and only one officer working. Once she got to the front of the line, it only took about 15 minutes. They reviewed the packet and asked her name. Then they stamped her passport. It was really super easy, just a long wait. Now just waiting on a Social Security card so she can start working.

Are you in Houston??
I live in College Station (about 1.5 hours drive from Houston). If you're flying into IAH expect a huge super long wait at Houston POE. Took about 3 hours total.

My wife made it through POE in Houston. Other than only having one officer for a line of 200 people, the only question they asked her is her name. Received a CR1 stamp. Cooked us a good rib eye for dinner and now trying to get my cat to play nicely with her two cats. Thanks again everyone. See you in two years -90 days for Removal of Conditions!

Visa in hand, green card fee paid, now just waiting for POE next week.

Changed from Ready to Administrative Processing, hopefully it's issued in the next day or two.

Good luck to everyone having interviews this week. My wife's is in a few hours. Hope to be back here tonight with an "approved"

Interview in 5 days. Just got an email to bring additional documents to the interview. For anyone else interviewing in Tokyo prepare this stuff too.
We are sending to request for additional documents for your immigrant visa. Please inform them to bring the following documents at your interview.
- Original Family Register shows birth and marriage with English translation
- Medical Examination Documents from a Panel physician (http://redirect.state.sbu/?url=http://japan.usembassy.gov/e/visa/tvisa-ivmedfacilities.html)
- Valid passport
- Letter pack 510

It's no problem. I filled out the G-325A and put "Unknown" for my father's address. The only reason I knew his birthday is because it was also on my birth certificate. For my mother's address I put "Deceased" and it didn't seem to be an issue either.

In order to get an ITIN, it's my understanding you need to complete form W7 and send that in with your return. They will then assign the number for the purpose of filing the return. It wasn't clear to me how to get one earlier.

Just received the case complete email about two weeks after I received the interview information. I wonder what took so long.
-
Thanks for that. I forgot about that page.
Every embassy is different. But I don't believe your embassy sends anything. Here's your info page to read not much on IR1/CR1 but the medical info is there.

I received the Interview Letter (P4). Is there a separate letter from the Embassy later or is this all we get until the interview?
-
I would like to know this too.
I was wondering when I will get the interview letter email??

Interview is June 6th at 8:30 here

I received case complete April 5 via phone but never received a letter/email about it. What does the letter/email say?
-
Still no interview date. Hopefully next week.

I keep getting disconnected when I try to call. :/
Edit:
Got through but the rep didn't seem very interested in helping. I wouldn't be surprised if she was just making key-typing noises and only said 'no' and hung up when I asked if we'd been scheduled yet. haha

No. Just confirmed my CC date and told me to wait for an interview date.
did they say if they started yet??
-
Just called. No interview yet.

Here's a screenshot.
Hello guys
There is one guy ( cl4677) who is telling that he didn´t see any change in his web case, so we can assume that this is not a web page update!! so probably is a good sign for us who have that update in our web summary case.
Cross your fingers!!
-
Not on mine. :/
Yup, noticed the change too. Not sure if it actually means anything but any change is good ?

CC April 5. Still no interview date.
Green card has not arrived

I'm in the same boat. Wife arrived June 15 and still no green card. I check the USCIS website with the receipt number but it hasn't changed since I paid the green card fee on June 7.
Should also mention the website says to wait until October 5th to contact them about not receiving the card.
