  1. I have just got off the phone with the USCIS center, to ask about my case, and sure enough the person who I talked to, said that he was going to check the processing time online, and he told me that the NSC is working on January 16, 2014 cases. I was very frustrated, because all he said, I can't do anything because your application is not within that range. So, in other words, they will be basing themselves as to what the Processing Website says, and won't be able to help if you application was submitted at a later date. :ranting:

Indeed, that is the extent of their training. They also volunteered that we can go to local office in order to submit service request. I don't think we should be worried by the date posted online. I tried to be polite as possible since I don't want to cause any unnecessary delay.

Your approval will come soon! Good luck

  2. Yup, she acknowledged it's outside the processing time that they estimated on website. That's why she started service request. But then the flaw of the system, or lack of training, prevents her from interpreting the (default) message from Nebraska Service Center. I have faith that we are in good hands.

Just a quick update: i scheduled infopass appt for next Tuesday so that i can submit a service inquiry for NSC.

  3. I called them as well and they told me that I am still within the processing time frame but the USCIS website for Nebraska was updated on July 2, 2015 and it still posted a 5 month processing time. My case reached 5 months on July 11. So to me I am outside NSC processing time but they don't see it that way.

  4. It was this morning , i had a strange dream when i woke up.... all day i check every single email as it dropped in my inbox, however when the real once came, i did not care to see, but after 10 mins couldnt resist and yes there it was... GOT Approved! Very happy, I woke my wife up at 6am in the US and yes she lost her sleep and we are really happy we got through. thank you to everyone, I have been following this thread very closely.

Our best wishes to everyone who is pending, be patient, its almost time now :)

Did you just describe your dream or what happened today? Lol,,

  5. I literally just got off the phone with call center and they acknowledged that my case is outside the processing time. After beginning the service request to inquire about the case, she informs me that they are working on December cases, and that she cannot continue unless my date is before the current processing date. This is what I expected, so I'm not surprised. The system is flawed, giving a general processing date rather than a specific one for my visa category. She also said that I could make an infopass appt to be given more details about my case. I told her I will probably do that in a few days. I'm not worried. Just thought you guys would like an update. :D

  6. I don't think how long you are married prior to your I-130 would be a concern as long as it's bonafide. I was also scared before since my case was I had to leave the country back to Indonesia just a day after our marriage, plus we also applied 3 weeks after our wedding, but we just had the approval 3 days ago. Second to what mbalih said, leave it to the Master. Don't worry too much and enjoy the process. :)

Absolutely, not worried at all.. Time has been flying since marriage, and in July it's been slowing down due to my anticipation.

Just today God demonstrated his love and protection for me (went off the road and into a field, did not hit anything.) It's been a very testing day and I feel very blessed! So no matter what happens with this, I know that He has a plan and timing with a purpose.

  7. My NOA1 date is Feb 2nd but I am still waiting for NOA2 :(

My husband also applied for I 129F (NOA1 date Feb 19) but we haven't heard anything about our case after that :'(

Is it true that those who apply for I 129F get their approval a bit later than those who just apply for I-130??

    Please help!!

I don't know this with certainty.

I also applied for I-129F, but first was I-130. Technically, tomorrow will be my 5 month mark for the I-130. My wife and I were married only 3 weeks prior to my (I-130) NOA1 date of Feb. 12, 2015. Hopefully they will not delay too long because the last thing I wanted to do by applying to both 129F & 130 was delay processing time for either.
