  1. Yes it was a reaffirmed case. It went very well but what I realized was that they pay  special attention to reaffirmed cases and they don't waste time.

The Consular was like, sir I will take u thru the documents u have submitted. Then he pulled out my birth cert and asked.

    Ques:

1.whats the name of ur father and mother.

    2. Have u been married before  this marriage?

    3. Do u have kids

    4. How many people lives with ur wife.

After the ques. he returned all the supporting documents to me ( whatsapp chats, emails, call logs, birth cert etc) and kept the affidavit of support, police report, medical report and taxes.

Then he gave me a blue  sheet of paper and said contact the address on the paper to collect ur passport in 2 weeks. U have been approved congratulations .

  2. I named my son after my father in-law's middle name so he has the middle name before my surname. my wife also has the same middle  name cos she hasn't change her name to my name yet. would that be a problem?

  3. The Ghana embassy received our reaffirmed case on June 12 2017. Our reaffirmed case was updated on July 5th on ceac website. So i sent an email on that same day to the embassy to find out if they have sent our call in letter. They reply July 31st with this:

Case records indicate a call in letter was mailed to the Applicant on 05-JUL-2017.

My wife is in ghana now she had brother checked the mail box several times there is no letter from the embassy. I went to the embassy today, To show them the email  showing that they have sent us a call in letter. I was told that I have to bring in the actual call in letter  with our case number before I can get the the package. I even gave her our case number, she insist on bringing in the letter.  What do we do now??? Please help.
