yeah.. We were trying to get there by 6:30 but was caught up in traffic, we got there before 7. then after a few minutes the line was already moving to go in. Yeah there were so many people last Monday, met a few girls on K1 and was helping 2 K2s who are to follow their mom.

Oh you must be a couple people behind me . I was wearing a white dress and a black blazer at that time.

hi! my category is IR2 and my interview was last Jan 11, 2016! me and my twin sister are APPROVED too! yay! ) my ceac status is already issued. i hope i can get my passport and visa packet soon congrats to those who were approved and goodluck to those who have their upcoming interview

Not yet. Had my interview last Jan 11 and the site's still reflecting "Ready". Hopefully it'll change to "Issued" in the coming days.

Congratulations to all new aprovals I am still waiting for my call in letter here on my country since December first my case status says ready till today I have sent so many email to the USA embassy here is Ghana and there is no reply till today and my NOA2 expiring day is 02/01/2016 I pray I will get this letter soon

As per other VJ members, you don't need to wait for the embassy letter. You can proceed and schedule your interview as long as your case status says ready.

For the embassy letter, it usually takes months before you receive it since it is sent by snail mail. Sometimes it will even arrive after your interview.

I think the interview schedule for January 2016 will only be available once December is almost filled-up. I'm planning to have my interview on January too.

Validity of NOA2 means you have 4 months from approval until you get an interview appointment. But as far as Philippine embassy is concerned and according to some senior members here on VJ, our NOA2 validity is automatically extended up to 1 year.

Hi. I also tried their website to schedule my interview on Dec 28 but it is not yet open so I called them and the agent said that the available dates as of today is from Dec16-22. Just keep on checking. I had my first day of medical Dec 11 and will come back on Monday for continuation. They allowed me to have my medical even if I don't have interview schedule yet, just told the guard that the interview date that I prefer is not yet open.

Please help, I'm now so confused as we are planning to have the interview on 1st week of January and POE on the end week of March. ;(

You have to do the DS-160 before you pay the visa fee. You will need the confirmation number from the DS-160 to do your deposit slip you need to pay your visa fee.

Once you have paid your visa fee, you will need your receipt number from the deposit to schedule your interview.

Register online with slec for your medical and get your CENOMAR and NBI clearance too.

I thought you can pay the MRV fee without filling the DS-160 yet? As far as I know you only need to print the applicable U.S. visa application deposit slip and take the printed deposit slip with you to pay the fee. Look: http://manila.usembassy.gov/niv-application.html Step 1 actually is paying the fee and Step 2 is the DS-160 then schedule for interview..
