45 days ..still no CC...moved to supervisor review a week ago....I was told it can take up to 42 days...Does anyone if it really takes 42 days....I know every case is different....because I have seen CC in 21 days and I am at day 45 and still nothing....I just need some hope right now...At this pace... I don't know when I will be with my husband again.

I sent my package to NVC and it was received September 1st. As of yet my documents haven't been reviewed and you guys know calling NVC doesn't help. People after my scan date are getting CC and mine hasn't even been looked at. When I called October 1st, I was told to wait few more days as they are running behind. Then when i called this Monday they said give it one more week, now they are saying one more week, so two week all together. Every time I call, I am told to wait few more days and if it's not done I can have it sent to supervisor. The supervisor review can take up to 42 days (I still don't understand how everyone can be so backed up , if they are giving out a deadline of 30 days).

Now my question is, Should I send it for supervisor review so my 42 days start counting or wait 2 more weeks after the 30 day deadline?

Someone please help. This process is difficult as it is. I just want this nightmare to end so I can be with my husband soon.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

as you are almost near to 30days from the last scan date, I would suggest you to talk to a supervisor. When u get connected to first level rep, ask them to connect you to a supervisor. A supervisor might help you better in this. You need to struggle a lot to talk to a supervisor. They will not be available all the time.

I want to do that but I am afraid it might push it back. That's why I am not sure if I should just wait it out or take the chance of supervisor review. I heard it might take anywhere from 1 week to 53 days.

I understand this thread is for CC but I have a question that would be answered more accurately here than any other thread.

I sent my documents(AOS/IV package) which were received by NVC August 24th. Then our agent from back home made my husband send original documents which were received September 1st(wrong step on agent's part, I feel he should have known this was not supposed to be done, now time is being wasted because of him, no point complaining now I guess). I am on the 29th day and no news so I called NVC to get an update as I have seen someone with a scan date of August 31st get approved in 21 days. So, anyhow, I was told that it might take up to October 15th to review the documents as there are two pieces of mail. The operator also said that if it's not reviewed by October 15th I can call again and get a supervisor to review it.

I wanted to know how that process works, if anyone is familiar with it. ( I saw somewhere that it might take anywhere from 1 week to 53 days for a supervisor review/CC). My question is what's my best bet, should i just wait or get a supervisor to review it after October 15th. I don't want to cause more delay. My wedding anniversary is January 1st and I am hoping my husband gets here before that.

I have seen people get a CC in less than 21 days or around 21 days...It's been 28 days for me..is this a bad sign?? ..someone please help...i am freaking out at this point.I would call NVC but they won't be of any help as I know what they'll say.....

Called NVC today CC date September 22????... Scan date August 31.... I'm praying for an interview in October!!

Originals are suppose to be brought to interview. I have sen where the petitioners decree was asked. So I would have it. I know it says "wasn't asked for" or something like that

Sorry just a bit confused, if the petitioner is divorced does the applicant need to bring the original divorce decree of the petitioner?

When I called NVC initially I was told it applies to the applicant and the applicant's original divorce decree is supposed to be brought to the interview. But didn't say anything about the petitioner's original divorce decree when I asked.

Just called NVC ....scan date was September 1st but I was told it might go up to October 15th to get it reviewed... if it's not reviewed by October 15th I can get a supervisor to review it by calling NVC again...oh lord how much longer

I am waiting as well. submitted all documents, I was told it takes 30 days to review...Hope everything goes fast now.

AOS/IV package submitted....

Though my husband's agent back home made him submit originals as well. I hope that wont cause any problems. anyone know anything about a situation like this.

I will be sponsoring as the petitioner but I also need a joint sponsor. Does the joint sponsor fill out the same I 864 as me and mark 1st joint sponsor on the top. OR is there a different I 864 for joint sponspor?

Also, wil they count mine and joint sponsor income to meet the requirement? I am not exactly how it will work. I called NVC but that was no help.

I wanted to start fillling out AOS ( I 864) and IV (DS 260). Do i just download them from online or do I have to wait for NVC. I would like to get it ready and send it out. I paid AOS on tuesday so it should be cleared out by next week. I just need the cover sheet for my IV package.

Not sure about joint sponsor stuff...hopefully someone else will be able to help

Hey I see your timeline. Did you send your packages before your IV invoice was available. I wasn't sure you could do that. If yes, than do i just get the form online., It would be great help if you can tell me what forms you used for AOS and IV packages and also how you obtained them. Thank You.

I wanted to know whether I should send my Tax returns and W4s or IRS transcripts in AOS package, Also, I will need a joint sponsor, does anyone know that process or has done it. On NVC wiki, it says petitioner needs to complete I 864 and the joint sponsor as well. Will it be the same form or different becuase I think its I 864W for joint sponsor, But I am not too sure.

I am the petitioner.

So I called this morning and got my case number and wasn't given the IIN. So I called again in the evening to get IIN. I was able to log in as soon I got case number and invoice ID number. I completed the DS 261 (choice of address & agent) and paid AOS fee. However, under the IV fee, it shows $ 0.00. Will it show an amount once the AOS fee shows PAID. I am a little confused on the process.

OR is it that this whole process has to be done by my husband as he's the one applying for VISA.

It would be great if someone can walk me through. What do I do once I get the case number and IIN. ( I know I did some but it would be nice to the exact steps to make sure i did correctly).

Hi,

I called this morning and got our case number, what's the next step. When I called the operator said they dont have my email on file, however, I am pretty sure I filled it out on my file. She said it will take 28 days to get it by mail and that I can call back and provide an email address. She it might it just be that they are still not done putting my file in the system and that's why the email isn't showing up. She didnt my give me invoice ID number. What should I do. How long does it take to receive an email once the case number is assigned. At least the case number is assigned :joy: . one step closer to being back with my love.

Omg.omg..I just got approved. I got an email/text July 16 and my PD was Jan 21, 2015. I'll get NOA2 in mail soon. Thank you so much god. Finally I got approved. One step closer to being back with my husband <3 so so happy

we called customer service , they said they are processing 2 Dec applications and cannot put inquiry because we haven't reach 5 month time mark

this is so annoying , when we can see people around getting approvals .

My husband is US citizen and i am in Canada . Frustration is increasing everyday , cannot wait more to get back to him.
