Visa was issued on Thursday after 4 months in administrative processing!! Question though, we're still waiting on the passport. We have to be in America before January 5 cause that's when our medical expires.

Anyone have any experience with the Jerusalem consulate and how long it will be until we get the passport back??

So we've been in AP since July 27. The consulate finally called my husband on November 19 asking for a new Israeli police report so that they can issue the visa before January, which is when my husband's medical expires. We sent that 2 weeks ago. Yesterday, there was a status update on ceac and I called nvc to see what that was about and they said that the embassy has received our police report and it is under review.

My question is how long until they review the police report??

Ours isn't a non immigrant visa, it's an immigrant. Would it still work?

My husband also was asked for a non conviction report and he sent it 10 days ago. The consulate spoke to him and told him they will issue the visa afterwards so hopefully that's true! We don't have a status update though.

It means your visa will be issued very soon! Maybe as soon as tomorrow! No, he does not need to go back. It looks like everything is good and his visa will be issued within a few days.

Question, on the top part of that ceac status, does it say immigrant or non immigrant? When it switches from immigrant to non immigrant that is also a very good sign. Congrats!!

Ours was court records which was clean.

Interview was on July 27. They told him everything looks good, they just need one document and to send it in with his passport. This is the jerusalem consulate. They received the document and passport on the 29th, but out case has been in AP since right after the interview on the 27th. They didn't even give him a 221g or anything, just told him to send in the document. My question is, how long will this last? I knkw no one can tell, but usually how long? Our case status has been updated every business day since the 29th...

When I go to the courier website where I signed up my appointment and courier service, it still says send documents even though the embassy received my missing documents three days ago?

We're almost finished with everything but I might move. Will this cause delays in the processing of my visa? Already had the interview but were just waiting to get out of administrative processing and receive the visa. I don't want my moving to cause any delays...

The status updated date changed on the ceac website. I did send them an email two days ago but they haven't replied, so I don't think that's it? Could it be that they received missing document?? Could it be from the email even though they haven't replied? Is this a good sign?
