Hi,

I was interviewed on 21st March, interview went well. My wife and new born US citizen kid was along with me. At the end officer said case looks fine and I will hear in four weeks. He kept my passport and did not given me any slip.

Is this normal?

I have good experience with Willcare, staff is polite and professional. My medical is completed in Feb 2016

I'm posting on my cousine's behalf. She is US national and submitted i-130 for her husband like 5 months ago. They asked for additional proof of Marriage certificate in native language which she had already provided them in the beginning that has both languages on it (local and english). She called them to clarify and they said send us the same again with cover letter.

She sent them again but now status says that i-130 has been denied due to insufficient additional prove.

Now what option she has ? should she still call them and ask to send another translation copy or file a new i-130. She has already lost 6 months.

they MUST submit Nikah Nama (the original urdu Nikah Nama) as well as its english translation (you can go to e.g courts and many people are sitting and doing this), traslated Nikah nama will also be attested by the notory.

Remember - Marriage Certificate issued by NADRA is NOT enough and is NOT considered as sufficient proof. You should visit website of American Embassy Islamabad as they have the best guidelines for our understanding.

my case was sent to supervisor on Aug 20 and 42 days period was over so i called........they now sent my case again for supervisor review with another 42 days period...................

I wanted to talk to supervisor and she said they are not picking up the phone.....

She said my birth certificate is missing.......I insisted its not missing since I have not received a checklist for that and already replied all checklists more than two months ago..........

I think NVC should tell us if Islamabad embassy is busy so at least we may relax.

I finally found that NVC was right and we missed sending that document.......As soon as I acted as said by NVC - my case was quickly completed. I would advice to act as said by NVC.

You are not alone on this, my case is also on supervisor review since 19 August (after NVC received missing docs on 05 June and all forms were completed on 19 July).

I called them and they said the same that Birth certificate is missing but I insisted that not only we sent the certificate but also if its missing I still quality for CC so I will present original birth certificate during interview................................I also mentioned that we have not received any checklist saying birth certificate is missing.......

We found that best solution is to do what NVC is saying......in our case we somehow missed sending critical document. I will recommend to quickly respond as said by NVC and send them what they are asking. After sending the missing document my case was quickly completed. Thanks for reading.

Our case was sent September 7th to supervisor.i talk to rep to hold me to supervisor 2 times in different days.one time they said they r in meetin sec time thy said nobody picking ph cos it's early. I called them always right 7am .

I know thy lie mostly.can anyone tell me how I can reach to the superviosr and which time I should call so I can talk to them.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo you mean to say excluding the 53 days wait i have to wait another 45 days from the day my file reached the supervisor :/ I heard that it was only true if i had specifically asked for supervisor review of my case where as i didnt ask any such thing the NVC is moving with their own pace more over i called NVC today like usual some ignorant type of rep attended my call and gave me a 220 bolt shock by saying your package sent to NVC is missing your Birth Certificate and Marriage certificate i said what and told her that i have sent two different packages to NVC because we didnt trust our consultant we knew he probably miss some thing so by sending an extra one would compensate for that mistake and that what i was told by another rep a week ago that NVC is reviewing both packages more over yesterday the rep said the supervisor asked for our case file and now all of a sudden you are telling me my case file has missing documents there is some thing wrong with your system then she came up with another lame excuse and said both Marriage and My Birth Certificates are not properly translated I said my marriage certificate was translated a competent authority and is endorsed by the court and my birth certificate is issued by Govt. Of Pakistan which is in both english and urdu then i asked her to transfer my call to supervisor and she put me on long hold after a while she came back smiling and told me oh your case is fine and nothing is missing or incomplete i just talked with the supervisor and he or she said that wait for few more days you will get a case complete letter and some affidavit of support letter in email which u have to bring at the time of interview. Now i dont know whats going on she was telling me some thing different earliar before talking to some supervisor and told me some thing different after talking with supervisor i dont know what to believe now :s

As part of the medical exam, you'll have an x-ray to determine if you have TB. With your previous medical history of TB, I would think that the doctor at the US embassy's chosen clinic will want to take the test themselves. I wouldn't pay money to do it before the actual medical exam and risk having to pay and do it twice.

Hi,

I got TB treated successfully more than 10 years ago which was in foot, even on that time I never had cough/blood etc. I need to know if I should get SPUTUM test before the actual medical exam or interview scheduled.

I am planning to take SPUTUM exam from same medical center responsible for taking MEdical Exams for US immigrant visas, will this save my time so I may not get delays in getting medical report?
