Have you heard anything back yet? My husband recieved the same stamp but dated April 10th, 2017!

They said it's internal message to note that since the original document was returned by the post office they have since sent it out again so that's the "action completed" they're referring to. There hasn't been any further updates on the case

I know this post is a few weeks old, but if I am understanding correctly, you mail the tax return with the ITIN W-7 forms?

Also, we are applying for ITIN numbers for my husband's 2 kids who live in Mexico.  Should we still put our address for the mailing address and then the Mexico address for the 2nd address or Foreign address?

I just want to make sure I am doing this right. Thanks!

Yes you mail the W-7 along with your paper federal tax return.. The answer to your second question is also yes

Yes it is a CR-1 which includes the fee for the I-765 correct?

When you file the I130 together with I-485 there is no fee for I-765 or I-131..... therefore your checks should be $1225 for I-485 and $535 for I-130

my apologies I just realize she's not in the USA forget about I-765 it's only when you're here and adjusting NOT for when she's in her home country

Hi everyone, thanks for reading this post. Actually, my dad filed for my sister who has a priority on March 2012. She recently got married and gave birth. What should my dad do? Will she come with the husband and daughter? My dad is a US citizen. How long will it take? Thanks once again.

He has to notify nvc that your sister category has changed.. She's now in category F3, unfortunately they are processing priority dates from 2005 so she has a 7 year waiting period .

My case was approved by USCIS on 25th january 2017, but haven't heard from NVC yet, will they mail me that they have got the case from uscis or they only will send the case number, in the end i would like to know as much as I can for the NVC procedures and time.

Give NVC a call, mines was sent on 2/28/17 and I called them on 3/8/17 they told me they got my case that morning. Called back on 3/9/17 got my case number and invoice number. If you had sent USCIS an email address that's where NVC will email u as well as send your welcome letter in the mail. Since you got sent to NVC way before me I suggest you call

Did you send yours to the Texas address?  I did it approximately the same time.  The accountant was a CAA (I believe that's the term), so she completed the W7 and verified my spouses passport.  Hope it works out okay!  Glad yours is coming quickly!!

I did send mines to the Texas address...call them that's what I did. There's no way to track it by ourselves that's why I didn't want to sit there for 6-8 weeks thinking everything ok. I called and they told me it was approve

Yeah, I think it takes a couple of days from the case number being assigned for you to be able to make the payments. The strange thing is, I called on Tuesday (3/7/2017) and they said there was no case number assigned yet. Then I looked at the case number, which shows it was assigned on 3/6/2017. That must be why I was able to pay, since a few days have passed since the case number was assigned. Interesting they said it still had not been assigned when I called the day after it was assigned...

How can you tell from the case number which date it was assigned please?

Oh no. Try again tomorrow, it's so sad when half of them is supportive and the rest just don't care ?. Try again until you get a nice person. The first girl hung up on by accident I'm assuming the second lady was extremely nice but she said she can only talk to my hubby so I did a conference and the third person we get was absolutely nice as well she verified my hubby and ask him if it's ok to talk with me on the phone. I wasn't giving up I needed to know because it's not like we can track it I just couldn't wait until march 30 only to get bad news. Try tomorrow or Friday

I did too but I couldn't find the ITIN status check :(

When I call I choose I choose the option for personal tax return info then I press 0 until it says it doesn't recognize my option and to hold for an operator. When the operator comes on tell them you need to speak to someone about the W-7 you submitted they should say hold on for transfer to accounting department.  once someone from accounts came online I told them they needed my hubby on the line since it's his W-7 but all she ask was name country of citizenship and documents we sent which was birth certificate and DL (all foreign) then she said it was approved today

  10. Submitted W-7 with my federal return on 2/14/17 was received by IRS on 2/17/17. I called this morning 3/8/17 and was told it was approved today and ITIN # generated and mailed out. Was told to wait 7-15 days for ITIN # and letter in mail. So glad that's over I can do my state returns in time??

  11. Yes you go to their office and they will certify the passport. You have to make an appointment though no walk in allowed. I went to a tax man for my taxes. He just prepared the papers I will then take it to IRS next week at my appointment. You cannot file electronically without Itin so your taxes have to be done in the paper form. Your tax return have to be submitted at the same time with the w-7

yes nra goes in place of the itin
