  1. NVC has a required format that you must follow, if you wish to get a reply. If you don't follow the format then your email goes into never-never land. That's probably why you received a "no answer" to your emails. May I suggest the following:

    REQUIRED SECURITY INFORMATION:

You are required to provide the following security information with each inquiry to receive a case specific response:

    * NVC Case Number or USCIS Receipt Number (Place in the subject line of the e-mail).

    * Petitioner's name and date of birth.

( NOTE: If the visa petition is employment-based, include the employer's company/organization name instead of the petitioner's name and date of birth. )

    * Principal Applicant's name and date of birth.

--- Use this site to check When your file ships from NVC to USEM: State Dept. visa tracking: https://ceac.state.g...ker/Status.aspx?

Yup fully aware of the format that is required but did not receive a response. Like i said that was my personal experience. :) good luck to everyone!

  2. My NOA2 says:

"If you have not received any correspondence from the NVC within 30 days, you may contact the NVC by email at NVCINQUIRY@state.gov. You will need to enter the USCIS receipt number from this approval notice in the subject line. In order to receive information about your petition, you will need to include the Petitioner's name and date of birth, and the Applicant's name and date of birth, in the body of the email."

    Maybe that will help?

To be honest email does not work with them I sent multiple emails never received a response back.. Best to call but thats my experience you might have better luck!

  4. I hope I`m at the right place because I need help. My fiance and I want to apply for K1 visa. She is American and she lives in Oakland, CA and I live in Belgrade, Serbia and I need to fill in G325a form. Should i use non standard latin letters (like , đ, č, ć etc.) in forms I need to fill in, since some of them are in my name. Also should my fiance use them too because thats my official name - Igor Petrović - or should we just type in Igor Petrovic. In Serbia thats valid too. Maybe the question is stupid but we want to do everything right. Thank you guys. Greets from Serbia

Hey my fiancé is from bosnia! Good luck on everything!

  5. Thank you!! That is comforting.

I am hoping that he didn't forget anything else.

I am just worried that we should have received our NOA1 by now.

When did he submit the paperwork? It's usually est. 7-10 business days for you to receive the hardcopy. I sent my paperwork in may 25 and received the hard copy NOA1 on June 9th. So that can be an estimated timeframe to think about. Maybe have him give them a call if its been more than a couple weeks.

  6. Sooo my fiancee used a cashier's cheque, didn't sent the G-1145 form or a cover letter, and he didn't send it registered mail.

Can you all give me an estimated time between when you sent your petition and received your hardcopy NOA1?

At this point, I am expecting an RFE because I don't know what else he didn't do or include.

You don't have to include a G-1145 form because that is more for being updated by email or text which he can do once he makes an account on the uscis website. Also same with the cover letter it isn't exactly required but of course it isn't a bad idea to include one. I know some people don't send it is registered mail and does not cause any problems. It does not need to be sent registered mail because they will still receive it just fine most people do send it that way so they know when it is received and the paperwork is safe. Those items you mentioned should not cause you to receive a RFE. The only thing is the cashiers check which maybe someone else will be able to answer. Good Luck!
