Hello I am fine. You can track your green card on the ELIS website where you made your payment. If 30 days go by from POE and you have not received it and you keep seeing the words In Process on the ELIS website, give USCIS a call and see what they say.

You people in the government throw the word entitlement around like it was a sword. He never said he felt entitled to anything only that he has been going through the visa process for 7 years and 4 of those years has been spent in AP without knowing why. Not everyone has the money to travel to Pakistan to visit their loved ones and must make do with skype and phone calls.

It took me 4 years to bring my own husband to the United States due to an error on the embassy's part. They thought they knew the marriage laws of Pakistan and I had to spend large sums of money on an attorney to prove them wrong.

Sometimes it is best to just shut up and let a person express their feelings without comment. You say the security of the United States comes first yet we have Syrians here that did not go through years of AP. The embassy in Islamabad represents America at her worst. You can defend those who work there if you want but do not attack a man who has watched countless others get their visas while he is in Pakistan suffering.

I have been out for a while. finally I am in USA now.

I permanently moved there, I missed you guys, I was reading all the missed comments when i was off. I hope your visa will be issued soon, Inshaallah. It is realy so hard to in under AP. but patience is the only weapon to win with this hard time.

I want to ask the gusy who moved usa before. I am waiting the GC. would you please tell me where i can track the status of the card?

guys, yo can ask me any Qs about immigration processs from pk to USA.

I hope USCIS is right. I saw some forums which some people say. it depends on you. if you want to pay before or and after. but when you come in USA. they will not produce your GC until they recieve this fee.

let me ask you one Question. my visa class was CR1 but The current visa class printed on VISa is IR1. does it mean i will get 10 years GC?

The Department of State website says you must pay before you depart to USA but the USCIS website says you can pay after you enter the USA. The money must be paid with US dollars by credit/debit card or personal check. No green card will be produced until the fee is paid. When my husband got his visa I paid the fee for him before he left Pakistan. Anyone in the USA can pay the fee for you. They need your A-number from the visa and your DOS case number.

CEAC showed ISSUED on 15 Dec, but my date of issue on the visa shows 14 dec.

as i undertood when CEAC shows ISSUED. Your visa is printed already and ready to deliver.

It took 4 working days when the American express office in karachi called me.

You dont need to go to embassy but they send your visa via American express and it will deliver the city where you live which you already told them at the day of your interview.

when american express office recieve your visa from embassy they call you right away. example. they asked us me to come and pick the visa. when i come at thier office they said you have to pay 800 rupees which i undertood it was delivery charges.

than whats the next step ..how did u got your visa in hand ,embassy email/call ?

how many days it took since u are contaced and how many days u have visa in hand after being ;issued

plus what u need to take if u have to goto embassy to collect passport ,any docs u need to show them - pls explain your experience

But i would like to ask you, there is instruction letter with visa packet which says you have to pay GC (Green Card) fee before you depart to USA.

It has been 3 days since my Visa was issued and I didn't receive any call from American Express office in Karachi to pick up the visa.

is there anyone who know how long will it take american express office in Karachi to call?

If you visa issued today you should have your pp by 17th Dec BTW many congrats you could also track your pp in amex website.

I am in Karachi, When should I expect the call from American Express in Karachi Office to pick up the VISA? any idea?

yeah. I got updates 11 dec, 14 Dec, and today issued. actually they didn't call or e-mail me.

I didn't see any changes in creation date. or immigrant visa to non-immigrant visa.

It seems our AP is ended and cleared. thats all what i can say. Alhamdulilah.

I pray for all of you guys, Your visa will be issued soon. just be patient and dont lose hope.

My visa is issued today after 4 months wait.

I have been in AP for 4 months, They didn't ask any documents to submit. I had big plastic folder full of all evidences. but the CO didn't ask anything except few questions, at the end of the interview. She gave me 221G white letter. and said your case is perfect but it must go through AP.

Islamabad embassy is well-known for AP.

It is a normal/general note. even when i check the status it shows same.

Dont worry bro. I know how it feels. InshaAllah your AP will end soon. I had same interview as you. I had everything in large plastic pack. but the interviewer didnot ask single thing. Finally she said your case is perfect but it will go through AP.

So dont lose hope and be patient. If everything was ok on your case and they kept your passport. They most properly do Background checks and security screening on your case.

i had an interview today and .

the interviewer was ok , ,he told me "Everything is fine" ...... they didnt ask for something that i couldnt provide

but still

they put me on AP

cant sleep , i dont know what to do ..

there was nothing missing in my interview i provide all proofs all documents , lot of wedding pictures

i am missing my daughter .. cant wait to see her .. dont want to miss her childhood moments

I don't know if you guys experienced this. mostly the embassy updated our case between 4-6 PM in the evening.

Same here. I got an update today without replying the e-mail I sent to them 5 days ago. I hope they started working on my case.

Look like they are sleeping no updates. It seems like an intentional tease program. Where are human rights orgs.

Any updates today?

I called so many times talking with different call operators during last three months. mostly they tell me that your case is under AP. and as long the AP is done embassy will contact you..... but this time the operator told me that my documents are under review. I hope she saw something different rather then AP.

but as far as i think NVC , dont have any info other than that ..your case was with the embassy ...as NVC only issue case no. once your petition is approved..and than send it to the islamabad consulate ?

i think this is DOS which have information abt whats going on?

am i right in saying that ,pls correct me
