I just call the NVC today, they told me that they received our case yesterday on the 3rd and it will take them for 42 days just to put it in the system. Are these people for real. why do they just pull random numbers, 60 days, 45 days.....they just don't care.

For K1 Visa you only need to be at 100%...125% is for immigrant visa like spouse or parents. K1 is 100% and k3 is 125%. Found this out 2 days ago. good luck

Words can not describ how i feel right. Just got the "Petition Approved" email, text, app notification and what not. My NOA1 was June 18th. It's been a real journey with you guys here for the last 30 days. I wish you all a very happy ending on your journey & a great new beginning with the one you love.

Hello everyone, i'm trying to figure out if i need a co-sponsor or not. Last year I made well above the poverty line for 3 people. i claimed my son on my tax return, therefore 3 people in my household including my fiancee.
My financial situation for 2014 is as followed:
Earnings: ($16,600 in wages + $10,500 in the GI Bill) adds up to $27,100
Assets: ($16,000 in checking account + $7,000 car worth) adds up to 23,000 divide by 5 equal to $4,600
My concern is my job my current job is a paid internship/seasonal and will go 'till December. i'm getting about $600 a every week and about $1,500 every month from the GI bill. I'll keep getting the GI bill 'till May of next year (if i graduate on time
)
So my question is do i still need a co-sponsor even though i made and is still making more than what is required? thank you for your help.

We filled out the ds160 right after it was approved by the USCIS about 2 week before it got to the NVC. You don't have to wait.
