hey guys, i got my interview date today!! it was not for april as i wanted hehehe but still is great it is scheduled for may 2 in the morning... we are just so happy, thank you alll for the help!! best wishes for all of you too!

uhm.. depends... i have friends that got interview for the next month after case complete and others that got for 2 months later...

At NVC they said every first week of every month is the week they can scheduele interviews in Brasil.. so lets see.. its just a hope hehe

my husband called NVC yesterday and they said yes, our case is complete! yay! finilly... now i just pray we can get an interview date for april!

There are ways of calling the USA for free if that's your reason for not calling. I set up a Google Voice account and I call NVC through my Gmail account on my computer and don't pay a cent. Ever since one week passed from submitting the IV package, I've been calling every single day to find any news. And I'll continue to call every single day to see if they have an interview date for me. But I'm paranoid, so

yes the problem is, its not me calling its my husband and he says they get a little mad and say look dont call in two weeks we wont have any news for you before it! so, he said he feel bad haha but i will make him call today.

We got a checklist today after so much wait...

but we really dont understand what they want. This is what says on the checklist letter...

The NVC has received the requested Immigrant Visa Application (DS-230). However, we are still

waiting for the response to the checklist letter for the Affidavit of Support (Form I-864). Please return

the requested information so that we may complete the processing of your case.

When responding to the National Visa Center, please include the bar code sheet that came with this

letter. Failure to include the bar code sheet may cause a delay in the processing of your case. The bar

code sheet should be placed on top of all documents being submitted for this case and mailed to the

address provided.

We have sent that Affidavit of Support (Form I-864) packages twice... first we sent, they asked for corrections on the forms, we did the corrections and sent again about 2 weeks ago and now we get this...

has anyone seen something like that?

hmmm i was reading, we didnt use the D260 form but the D230...

hello guys... sorry for the stupid question haha but i have seen that some people have sent the D260 form and other documents online... so the IV package can be done online too? well we sent it by mail.. the d 260 forms.. civil docs.. as marriage certificate, birth certificate and passport pictures. How do we know if the package has entered the system? is in the same page where we see our FEEs?

i dont care, im just happy we are there now but i guess now that they dont have so many holidays like in December... they will send the approuved ones to NVC faster!

After reading all your posts am very confused we recieved our NOA2 in the mail on Dec. 30th but it was dated Nov. 23rd it was approved for the I 130 petition but on the uscis site it still shows us in initial review with updates on the 24th and 26th does anyone know how we can find out if we were really approved or is this another mistake in the uscis office if its a mistake its a really horriable one now i am wondering if we will get a notice like many of you that our case has been sent back to the uscis office for further review

If you received the NOA2 on mail saying that you are approuved, then you are approuved no matter if they updated the site or not, it happened to one of my friends too, she received the NOA2 at home before it was updated in teh site, and the HARD copy is what matters! get ready for NVC
