  1. I know, it's just we wanted more opinion on these since can't find a direct answer to these:

    1. Wanted to confirm that for their adjustment of status, we can and should file all 7 Forms I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131, I-864, I-944 and I-693. are we missing any other forms?
    2. What's the current total $$$ fees for concurrently filing all 7 forms? We've identified that it's going to be $1,760 for all 7 forms per person. ($535+$1,140+85)
    3. Should we issue a single check or multiple checks per applicant? So we're going to issue a single $1,760 check per applicant

    4. Should both parents file completely separate? 2 USPS packages to USCIS? I cannot find a concrete answer to this. So are we going to file 2 completely separate package applications to USCIS for each parent right?

    Thanks

  2. Hello VJ forum,

Here's our situation: Our parents came in the US with a B2/Visit visa last July 1st.
Now we've convinced them to stay and adjust their status to get a green card.

    Some details:
    a. This is their 5th entry in the US. Every entry they've only stayed 1-2 months.
    b. They entered the US July 1st, so it's about 108 days ago (when this is posted)
    c. My sister will be the sole petitioner and sponsor (US citizen) and makes about $150k/year so she can petition both parents with only her as the main sponsor.
    d. We are filing these 7 forms for each parent concurrently: I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131, I-864, I-944 and I-693 (waiting for sealed document in a few days).

    Questions:
    1. Wanted to confirm that for their adjustment of status, we can and should file all 7 Forms I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131, I-864, I-944 and I-693.
    2. What's the current total $$$ fees for concurrently filing all 7 forms?
    3. Should we issue a single check or multiple checks per applicant?
    4. Should both parents file completely separate? 2 USPS packages to USCIS?
    5. Should we send everything here? (Live in Redwood City, CA (94061)
    USCIS Chicago Lockbox
    USCIS
    PO Box 805887
    Chicago

    Thank you so much!

Has it ever happened to anyone that they got a "case was approved" notice AFTER getting a "new card is being produced" notice? (I.e., Friday I was told my new card was being produced, and today I was told case was approved - which seems backwards.)

This is completely normal and nothing to worry about. This happened to me too.

For now, sit back and wait for the card to arrive in 2-4 weeks (mine arrived 24 days after case approval)

Also, don’t expect they’re gonna tell you when they shipped it along with the usps tracking.

I never got one, my card arrived without the case status update. Just sign up for usps informed delivery so you’ll get notified.

    Congrats!

  4. Just saw this on my USPS Informed Delivery “Coming to your Mail”

    Arriving Soon

    USCIS- Lees Summit Production Facility

    (Tracking Number Removed 😉)

Estimated Delivery on: Saturday, Jul 25

I think this the actual physical card!
i have never gotten any notification on myuscis

that it’s already shipped. Nothing after card production & case approved 3 weeks ago...

For those wondering about card production:

I received the notification for acceptance/card production on June 29 and the notification that the card was mailed to me today, July 21. So, took just over three weeks for them to send it and hopefully I will receive it within a week.

Wow congrats! You're just 1 day ahead of me so hopefully I'll get the "card mailed" notification soon!

You may have to wait a long while for the actual card. This was posted just a few days ago regarding greencard production almost coming to a complete stop:

    Omg!
But thank you so much for this post!
I’ll just forget about it for now and wait. 😅
