Hi. I'm a bit confused, in packet 3 it tells you to complete the DS160 but he has done so without packet 3?
I can only comment on my process.
When my status said "Ready" i phoned the Johannesburg consulate to confirm receipt. They said yes and will email packet 3.
They emailed packet 3 the next day stating i need to complete the DS160 and D2001. I completed both and sent them back the same day. I got packet 4 the following day and the scheduled my medical. This all happened in the span of 3 days. Once my case said "Ready" i never called the NVC.

Sorry to see your still waiting, keep positive (I know that can seem hard) and stay positive. Have you tried to call the USCIS? Your still inside the February filers time slot so im sure you will hear something soon. Keep me posted.

I made an account on the USCIS page so no I didn't check case status with my SRC number but by logging in. I'm sure yours will come this week if not then by next.

We're also Feb 26... To be quite honest, I (as the beneficiary) have needed this time to save money for my Fiancée and I for next year, She doesn't make a lot, so my savings will definitely help. The thing I'm most petrified about is the Affidavit of Support.
But I'm trusting that her signing with a co-sponsor will be enough... 6 months is a hard long wait time...

Didn't you ever receive your notification of action which told you your case number and the service center the case was being sent to?

If you filed before the end of March, then your application would have followed the old method of processing which was based on the geographical location of the petitioner. Texas handled the northeast and southern states, California handled the Midwest and western states. As you know by now, Texas is extremely slow and California is very fast. It was so slow, there was a lot of complaining to the top to do something about it. The solution (which was not much of one) was that as of late March, all newly filed petitions would be directed to California. This did not help cases that were still stuck at Texas, which is why sadly, you find yourself still waiting. Officially, according to the USCIS, Texas is currently working on petitions filed in December.
As someone who also painfully waited at Texas, I wish you best of luck.
