Wow looks like VSC is moving with biometrics, I'm wondering what's going on with CSC!

@CharlieJK have you called in and ask? Not sure about walk-ins but I read somewhere in previous posts that someone said one of the office don't take walk-ins and some do. I hope everything works for you!

    Hi Roy,

We received Bio notice 02/23/18. Please help me update the list.

    Than you

Your english is perfectly fine! I'm sure you can write the explanation on your own! You can find some samples online by googling visajourney explanation removal of conditions sample.

Anyway, I do agree that health insurance are a waste, but because its mandatory for US otherwise penalty, so I bought the minimal ones for sake of it. I too feel like I'm giving away money every month for nothing, and whats worse with the most minimal purchase coverage, I have to spent 10k in medical to get free medical after the amount spent. haha how bad that is!

Probably might need it when i'm pregnant.

    Thank you so much.

Jack you have explained it very well yourself. I can understand what you have said and USCIS will be able to understand it too, if you keep it brief like this.

Thank you for your kind words. I have over 25 joint accounts. Life insurance, saving accounts, checking accounts and the tile of the house is designated to her name(conditional resident) I have been on vacation two times, 35 days each time and 20 pictures with family and friends.  I guess I am alright. I just find it's a wastes to buy healthcare insurance. I would rather going vacation with that money.

  4. I am about to file I-751 to remove conditional resident.  I have healthcare insurance, i work for a small company, they do not provide insurance.  I purchase my own insurance, but wife does not have health insurance. I could not afford to buy insurance for her. Also no joint car insurance.  She does not work and does not have driver license and does not drive. I am very worry.  Can someone who is good in English help me out, a letter explaining why she does not have health insurance. I would greatly appreciate it.

    Jack

  5. Hi Check again, It might be the combo card that is being produced. USCIS issues EAD & AP within 3 months of filing.

GC would take a little longer.

Let us know if you checked the status for I485 or I765

ALSO - there are cases where i-485 was approved before USCIS approved EAD or AP. So, if it is showing "New Card is Being Produced!", you might be getting your GC.

GC allows you to travel as many times you want. Single international stay should be less than 365 days/ 1 year. And NO - she would not need AP or EAD for travel. After you get your GC, your EAD & AP are useless.

Thank you Abby, Yes i checked it many times and it is GC. I also checked AP and EAD case #'s with no update. I would like to thanks everyone who has helped me and Visajourney for creating this website with the steps outline that i can follow.

  6. 1. The NVC will send you a letter in the mail with your HCM-XXXX case number, but in the meantime, you can call the NVC to ask for that HCM-XXXX number if you do not want to wait. With the HCM- number, you can track your case online via the CEAC website (link below, make sure to select IMMIGRANT VISA (IV) from the Visa Application Type at the top).

    https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=WwjqOlbeRYzCYubaSQI+RA==

    2. Your fiance will receive his/her Packet 3 before the interview. When you track your case via the CEAC website, pay attention to the Status. Once it shows a READY status, note the date, wait 3-4 days, then go to the U.S. Consulate Online Inquiry website to ask if they have received your K1 package. The consulate receives the electronic package first and the physical package arrives a few days later. The consulate staff will respond to your inquiry usually the next day (around 2-3 A.M. Eastern Time). Wait 2-3 weeks from this response date for the Packet 3. If you do not receive the Packet 3 by then, fill out another inquiry and ask the consulate staff to email you a copy of the Packet 3 letter. Your fiance will need this letter for her vaccination and medical exam. Packet 3 is only a letter with your HCM- case number and a link to download the K1 Instructions. You can download the K1 Instructions here: http://photos.state.gov/libraries/hochiminh/231771/PDFs/K-INSTRUCTION.pdf

    3. The I-134 form is to be given to your fiance to take to his/her interview, along with other required documents (as specified in the K-1 Instructions Package that he/she will receive in the mail). Make sure to include supporting documents with this I-134 form (e.g.: paystubs for the last 6 months, bank statement, letter from employer, IRS Tax Transcripts for the last 2-3 years, etc.) I believe you can no longer print the IRS Tax Transcripts online (due to recent hacks) so you may have to request them by calling the IRS phone number. It takes 10-15 days to get these transcripts so you might not want to wait until the last minute.

    4. Once your fiance has received his/her Packet 3 letter in the mail (or via email), he/she can go to the ustraveldocs.com website and sign up for an account. With this account, he/she can pay for the Visa fee. Twenty-four (24) hours after the Visa fee has been paid, he/she can go back to the ustraveldocs site to schedule his/her interview date. The US Consulate no longer schedules the interview. Everything is done online by you/fiance now (no more Packet 4, etc.)

    5. They will allow you inside the U.S. Consulate in Saigon, but may or may not interview you. Bring your U.S. Passport when you arrive at the consulate and the guards will let you in. Be sure to let the interviewing officer know who you are! I walked up to the interviewing booth with my then-fiancee and told the gentleman who I was, but was asked to take a seat as he did not need to interview me.

Feel free to send me a PM if you have additional questions. Sometimes it is better to start a new forum thread so you can easily track it (and provides a reference point for future VJners).

    Steve,

    Super nice. Thank you.

    Steve,

    Super nice. Thank you.

    I meant Frontgear.

  7. I am new too. but please search the forum.

    1. from searching, NVC should send you a letter, but you can call NVC as well. They are very busy, I have try for the whole week and still could not get a real person on case number.

    2. your Fiancee should get P3 before the interview.

3.from searching you give the I-134 to your Fiancee to bring to the interview.

    4. you can select the interview date, by some one could confirm.,,,,

    5. you can be at the interview with your fiancee.

    Steve,

Thank you for answered all the questions. Right now I am looking to hire Dich Vu to help my Fiance do Vaccination and filling the form, and booking interview all that stuffs. I assume i need bank statements right, and tax scripts 2013, 2014, letter from employer, 4 pay stubs, and I-134 filled.

  8. I-134 for K1 (not A-134).

Make sure you fill out the up-to-date version.

    Frontgear,

I got approved on the 29th of June, On the July 9th Texas emailed me that the sent the package NVC. My question is will the NVC send me a letter with case number prior mailing to Ho Chi Minh City? or should i call them asking for case number? also, will my Fiance receive package 3 before the interview? I know i need to fill out I-134 form, but what do i do with this form? give it to my fiance to bring it to interview? about the interview date, do we allow to select the date or they assign date to us? I plan to be there on the interview date? will they allow me to be in? do i need to tell them that i am there? Sorry i have so many questions,. Thank you so much for your help and any advice you give.
