  1. Last night I got an update on my I-751 that my case was transferred to another USCIS office on Dec 20. I am CSC filer and I was sad to see that thinking it was probably transferred to Nebraska. This morning I got another update that the case is transferred to another USCIS office on Dec 21. It is confusing that my case would be transferred 2 days in a row. I called to check my case status and it says case was transferred to Lee's Summit Missouri whichis very odd to me. I have not heard of anyone being transferred to NBC for I751 before. I filed for N-400 in mid Aug 2018. Do you think my case is transferred to NBC so they could process both I-751 and N-400?

Btw my case number is WAC180180xxxx

maybe same with me . ussually month everybody wait fingir prints . bu not 3 month like me . i think i need just wait . but how can i make tracking for  my case? because receipt number doest work ...........................

You cant track using the first NOA receipt. You would need to use the receipt number on biometrics notice. I couldnt track my case till now that I got response regarding my biometrics.

May I know what number you used to call? I tried to call before but they wont accept my NOA receipt.

Yea my NOA didnt work either. From what i have seen, 1st NOA receipt doesnt work. I called (800)-375-5283 and talked to a "representative." She basically said i need to wait. She sees nothing blah blah blah. Then I told them that I see cases submitted in Nov already got their biometrics long time ago so I just wanna make sure my case is not missing anything and requested to be transfered to Tier 2 officer. She said Tier 2 wont be able to help me either but transfered me anyway. The officer told me that process is slow but he will put in a note for my case that I am still waiting for my biometrics. And about 1-2 weeks later, I got their responses. Try insisting on talkingto Tier 2. Tier 1 people normally cant help much.

i have sent my i-751 october 12 , i still wait my letter for biometrics appointment . i dont know what happening .

does somebody have same problem like me. i dont know maybe i need call them to uscis . ???????

I sent my i751 in beginning of oct as well to csc. Didnt hear anything so i called uscis to ask about biometrics. They sent me a letter saying that they have manual added me to the list to schedule for one. Then i received the notice about week later from uscis saying that they will be able to reuse my previous scanning and tests, so i no longer need to do biometrics. Not sure if my call helped push things along, but it is worth a try.

  5. Hi everyone. I sent my package on Oct 17, and got the NOA1 on Oct 24 with receipt date of Oct 18 at CSC center. I still havent received anything for biometrics yet. Starting to get worried. I looked at Nov forum and it looks like most people at CSC have received their biometrics letter. I am not sure if USCIS had any system issues on Oct applications. Not sure what to do....the wait sucks!!!

  6. Just want to share good news with everyone here. My interview is finally scheduled. I got the text from USCIS this morning and thought maybe my case is not ready to be scheduled for interview since it was on "Case was received". I was surprised since I expected to be scheduled by beginning of November. So don't panic if your case status hasn't changed. You might just jump straight to Interview Scheduled. Time to start preparing for me  ...I have not changed my name on my ID and SSN yet, would it be a big deal at the interview?

I would advise ppl not to trust the processing date on USCIS. I think they show it slower so people like us wouldn't call them up and ask about our cases  I referred to the processing time on this site and it is pretty close. I hope everyone will get their interviews scheduled soon!

  7. I just got email from USCIS that my EAD card was sent to me. OMG, i thought it's one more days without news since I usually get update in early mornings. I can't believe it! Hope the card also includes AP since I didn't receive hard copy for AP even though it's approved...weirdd

Yelli, since yours is only a day or 2 after mine, you should also get some good news this weekend or Monday. Soon you will be able to apply for your dream job :goofy:

  8. Hi all,

I had my interview today; It went weird but I got APPROVED this evening :joy::joy: this is how the interview went

IO first went through the I-130 then to I-485 YES/NO question;then asked my wife how we met and if her family approves of our marriage and took our joint lease, bank statement and looked at our pictures...after she gave a letter saying "A decision cannot be yet be made about your application" and told us we will here from them within 45-60 days...But it took just a couple hours!!!Now waiting for the physical card :joy::D:P:jest:

    GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL!!!

Congrats. Hope our interview will be as easy and smooth as yours. Now time to plan for a big partayyyy :joy:

  9. It has only been 2 weeks since my biometrics appointment and the wait is already driving me crazy. Haha.

Congratulations to those who have seen movement in your case!

Yeah there are some movements, but now EAD is delayed due to card production upgrade or something...why us? why now?

They should have just kept using the old system till the new one is up and running. They just want a reason to make us wait longer :ranting:

  10. Hi!!

I received an email from USCIS today stating that I will be receiving by mail a RFE requesting evidence on my I 485 process. However, I wonder if this has something to do with the fact that I requested my EAD card to be expedite.

Does anyone have the same experience in requesting to expedite the EAD card and get a RFE? I sent my application on May 29, 2015 and did my biometrics on June 29. Everything was fine, until this RFE, now I have to wait for the letter to arrive so I can know what they need. I sent together with my application all the required documents, I can only think that my request to expedite the EAD has something to do with it.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you so much!!!

From what i know, when you request to expedite EAD, they will request for proof. So maybe that's what the RFE is for. But as Toy said, you should just wait till it arrives. Best of luck!

Yay! Congrats! My priority date is June 4th so hopefully I get something next week on the EAD/AP.

I'm here! lol haven't checked my mail since day before yesterday but so far nothing new on my side.

Yup. I think your case should be approved some time next week :joy:

  11. So being the impatient person I am (lol), I called USCIS and spoke with a tier 2 officer. He told me that they are going through a system transition with the printing of EAD cards and how they are mailed out. He said because of the change, the EAD are taking longer than normal to be printed... :protest:

Oh NOOO, they didn't! How dare they make the wait longer! Like we aren't tortured enough with the current wait time for the whole process :ranting:

Did they tell you how much longer it will take to be printed out?

  12. Congrats !! Congrats !! Congratulations..

    Where is @Yelli?

    Thanks!

this is great news congrats. When did you file? What's your priority date ?

Thanks. My timeline is in signature. I sent the package on May 26 and priority date is June 1. So I guess they are working on EAD/AP for June applications now. woohoo!

Also my I131 AP case status has just been updated to approve as well. EAD/AP were both approved on Aug. 4 but online status didn't get updated till now, so i think you guys should get some news soon.

  13. Hi everyone, I filed my documents to Chicago on June 16, 2015. I received online interview notification on July 27, 2015 and received paper notification yesterday. My interview date is Sep. 2nd, 2015 at SLC. I submitted my EAD and AP with AOS documents, but I do not see any change ("My case was received" status) on USCIS website yet.

    My timeline is the following;

June 15, 2015: Send documents to Chicago

June 16, 2015: File was received

    June 22, 2015: E-notification "Case was received"

    July 3, 2015: Biometrics notification

    July 6, 2015: Biometrics walk-in

July 20, 2015: I-485 online status update notification (Interview is ready for schedule)

July 29, 2015: I-485 online status update notification (Interview was scheduled)

August 1, 2015: Received a letter regarding Interview date and time

Interview date is Sep. 2, 2015.

Congrats. Your case moves so fast. Good luck with preparing for the interview

Oh wow that was fast! Congrats! Only if the rest of our applications would move as fast as yours :)

Has anyone else heard anything new on their case? Been over a month since biometrics and still nothing here -sigh-

Sigh...Haven't heard anything from my side. It's been pretty quiet. Hopefully we will start getting some good news within the next 2 weeks.

  14. Hello everybody,

    How are you?

I just wanted to start this topic for the persons filling AOS with the local office of Santa Ana, California.

And get your feedback about the time it takes, took you to go thru the different steps of the AOS!!!

I did filed in Dec 2014 and still waiting for my interview date.

Please feel free to tell me what is your experience!

    Thanks

    Pottok

You filed in Dec 2014 and still no interview date yet? This makes me kinda lose hope. I was hoping to get everything done by December 2015 so I could go home for visit.

Did you get any RFE along the way? Also, did you get your EAD/AP yet? What status are you adjusting from? K1 or student/work visa (F1.H1)? K1 usually has a longer timeline. Approximately 1 year after filing.

  15. I know! I live in apartments and my mailbox is all the way on the top and they go pretty deep so I literally tippy toe and put my hand in as far as it will go just to make sure there's nothing all the way in the back stuck lol sad thing is there's never anything :(

I try to not think about it but yeah it's not easy to just not think about it when this is HUGE!

Oh man, i hate being in apartments during these crucial times. I was in one before and sometimes my mails were put into a wrong house. I was doing my H1B working visa at the time and worry sick if my mails got to the wrong mailbox.

My husband doesn't seem to worry or think much about this. He's like "it will come someday" haha. I can't be like that. I'm glad that i joined VJ. At least, we are all on the same boat and understand what each other goes through. *hug hug*

  16. I work so that does make my days go by faster, not to mention chasing the child around the house once I get home lol but still I get home check my mailbox and it's always empty. I used to check it like once a week before all this and it was always full and now days can go by without a single piece of mail in there.

Haha. Everyday after work, i couldn't wait to get home to check mail and always hope to find a nice surprise. Then i would feel sad since there's nothing from USCIS for me but all junk mails

Good news only comes when we are least expected. I told myself to forget about it so good news would come but i can't get it off my mind lol
