I need your help.

My case is at NVC and we were going to close the case but we changed our minds. The problem is that by accident we mailed the cancelation letter along with our other documents so now NVC will not continue processing our case but the documents are there.

They told me I need a letter to tell them we want to continue with the case.

So i need a sample letter for this matter.

Hi everyone. It's been so long since I posted here. First off i wanna congratulate everyone for the improvements. For your visa approvals and interview schedules.

And also i think no one is as behind as me. I just want to say i found a sponsor since my wife doesn't make enough. She's mailing papers as soon as she can. God is good and his time is perfect.

Is anyone else in the same situation as me?

my husband does have alot of money in his bank account in his country. but i had the understanding that the immigrant can't use his money to meet the U.S. federal poverty guideline, unless the immigrant's money would be consistent even after he arrives to the U.S. i don't know how to explain it. like he needs to show proof that his money will still be coming to him or that he'll still be earning money from his country, even after he arrives in the U.S. i don't know for sure, but it seems like i read something about this somewhere online in all my research.

If he has a lot of money then you can use that as assets I guess. Because assets include savings. But he might have to send that money to you so you can put it in your savings account i think. I hope this idea is useful to you.

i've been following this thread for awhile, but then i stopped after my husband and i ran into a problem since our I130 approval in july 2015. here's a qiuck background of our journey:

we met online in 2010. got married in tunisia in 2014. filed for the I130 in february 2015. got approved in july 2015.

the problem we've run into is that we can't find a co sponsor. it's getting very frustrating. we've been ready to proceed with the rest of the visa process since july but no one in my family will sponsor him because they say they don't "know him well enough." i think it's just that they don't approve of him because he's a muslim. a couple of months ago i received an email from the NVC saying that our visa petition will be terminated within 1 year from visa availability notice. and that scares me. it's been 5 months since we've been approved, and the only thing holding us back is a stupid co sponsor issue. i'm afraid we'll have to divorce if we don't get a co sponsor soon. i cannot be in an internet marriage. it's not right.

has anyone else had trouble getting a sponsor?

Hi. I understand your case because I'm in the same situation. I was approved july 23rd 2015 and since August that NVC got my case I haven't move forward due to the cosponsor issue. Me and my children haven't seen my wife since October 2014. It is frustrating but for now we only can pray to God we find a sponsor. In hoping to get a sponsor in two weeks so I can continue this journey. Just have faith and you're not alone. If you have a friend who can do joint sponsor you can ask him/her. Nothing is lost my friend. Have a good day and remember God time is perfect.

I don't have a scan date yet. NOA1 February 27th. NOA2 July 23rd. We are still gathering financial papers from our joint sponsor.

Hi everyone. I Submitted my Ds360 November 2nd. And yesterday got the cover letter from NVeveAnd also the confirmation page in PDF saying DS260 has been sent for review. It also says allow up to 30 days for review. We have not sent supporting and financial documents yet. Will they still review my Ds260? Or do i start to count 30 days, the day they receive my supporting documents? Im confused.

We are moving slow. But we know Gods plan is perfect.

Do you have documentation to establish that you have received vaccinations in accordance with U.S. law?

I think I don't have them. I know I have the one from my country but I lost my record sheet.

Hi everyone. We paid the fees and they ate still in process. Today is the third day since we paid it. Does the IV fee has to show as paid before filing DS260? I just don't want to click anything in the ceac website because im afraid I will mess up. It shows at NOT STARTED.

Hello February filers. Hope by now we have all gotten our NOA 2. Are there still people at the USCIS stage waiting for NOA 2? If there are please let us know so we can continue to pray for you guys. A lot of us should now be getting CC's and interview dates. I pray that those who are waiting for CC and interview dates will get them this coming week in the name of Jesus. Hi. Im a February filer. I got my second NOA July 23rd. My papers were received by NVC on August 7th. I filed Ds261 August 26th. After that we stop our journey for a while due to financial situation. In October 8th my wife paid the AOS fee and now we hope she has the money to pay IV by next week. And as soon as she paid the IV fee she will mail the package. I have seen people get their CC a month after scan date and a month an a half to get their interview. I just pray god we can be able to spend Christmas together. Happy to see many CC and Scheduled interviews.

Im about to continue my journey. We are going to send my AOS package and DS 260 package.

As we are going to include a joint sponsor my question is... Does both AOS go in the same package or different?

Also do i have to send police certificates from my country? Are pictures required to send to NVC? Or can I bring them at the interview? Thank you so much in advance everyone. God bless you.

@BHSMama .. No point on calling the NVC honestly. Plus, i'm always calling them from Romania and it aint really cheap :/ Trying not to get a heart attack when getting the phone bill, lol !

Hi. I know calling internationally to the US is really expensive. I have been using Google hangouts. You can download it from google playstore in your smarphone and also you can download it in you laptop.

My wife and I are going to wait a little bit to fill out AOS because she got a second job but she hasn't started yet and she want to include it so we don't have to find a joint sponsor. Reason I'm asking is: my wife is certain she can do that so she told me she will send the AOS to uscis...

Hey we're timeline twins. Mine left NSC 08/03/15 and got there 08/07/15. I called last week and they told me 42 days. Let's see if we get our NVC info the same time. I'm thinking sometime between today and Thursday. I've never been this anxious to give someone money.

Wow. Mine was sent to NVC August 3rd and got there the seven as well. I will call on Friday to see if I have a case number.

Ok so Aug 6 it got sent to nvc i should call in 2 weeks correct

Hi. I think you should call next week like Friday. Because my case was sent from uscis on August third and they received it today August 7th.

Hello everyone. My case was sent to NVC on August 3rd and got there today August 7th. It took just this week to go from USCIS to NVC. So happy.

I would try maybe next week in case you're in luck but expect it to be the week after when you may get them. Our NOA2 was 7th July. Our cases were sent from USCIS to NVC on 15th July and they were received and scanned in on 21st July. We got our case numbers and invoice IDs this morning when my husband phoned them. We have now filled in DS261s and paid the AOS fee

Thanks for the reply. I couldn't wait to call until next week. I called today and it took me one call to get through and a 20 mins waiting but happy my case was received today. It was fast. So happy my case is moving fast.

My case was sent to the NVC on July 28... they received it on August 3 - so it was only 4 working days. However, I called today and they still do not have my case number. I really wish I could start paying the fees :-(

I believe they'll probably get your case tomorrow. Try calling on Monday!

Hello everyone. I found out my case was sent to NVC on August 3rd. My NOA2 was July 23rd. My question is: how long will my case take to get to NVC... When should I start calling to check if they have it?
