    Great idea, thx.

    Will definitely do 😊.

I needed help on one trip  flying Air France and Delta.  I requested wheel chair assistance and they take you to each gate, fast and efficient.  they will also board you first.   Your mom should do fine.  You can call the airline before her trip and request this help.   When she gets off the first plane someone will be waiting just outside the airplane door to transfer her.

  2. This is for Morocco....

My fiance is concerned that my birth certificate shows my maiden name. and of course does not match any of my

papers " passport, licence, previous divorce papers. ect..)

Everything i have is notarized or certified.

Has anyone had any issues with their birth certificate not matching present name?

Being that Moroccan woman do not assume their spouses name, their birth certificate always matches their name, their maiden name

    follows them always.

We in USA are different. He just wants to make sure we have no issues.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks so much

  3. I don't know if this is relevant or not... may not be... but was a thought that came to my mind. When you were asking about getting the documents translated here vs. in Morocco. . Here it would be simply translated to proper arabic language, would it not? However, if translated there, it would be translated into Moroccan arabic which is a different dialect. Would that be better?

Reason I am bringing it up, I told hubby once I wanted to take a arabic speaking class. Hubby says, "we do not speak arabic, we speak Moroccan arabic, so even if you did some ppl would not understand you." Which takes me to my thought..... if translated into proper arabic would they accept it, and would it be understood?

Also, second thought. .. you can ensure that its translated correctly, since english is not so easy to translate in all cases.

Was I totally off the mark on this or what there atleast one intelligent point? Lol idk... just wondering. If I'm wrong please chime in... lol

Yes, You hit it on the head. I did not explain the question.

I too have heard the same thing. moroccan arabic. And I was worried, if i did the translation here, would the Powers to be in Morocco accept the US translation of their lanquage.which is why i have decided to just do all the translation in morocco. How awful it would be to not have the papers accepted. and the expense involved.

so, pat yourself on the back. and i am playing around here. you got it.

Thank you so much. i have not been on for a while, no been able to. nice to see all the responses. and i have more searching to do .

I will definitely check in more often, and considering i have only 27 days till my trip. Almost done and ready.

    have a great one.

  4. I appreciate all the help here. my only issue this trip is that i will only be there for a total of 9 days.

so i think this may be a problem.

my finance did his research and found out according to morocian law that once we have done a certain part, that i can give power of

attorney to a relative to be (me) as a stand in to finish the remaining process. Has anyone ever heard of doing this. He says it states

    this specifically in the laws.

I will do the process of scanning and sending him all my papers

    Questions:

1.) What is the attestation of nationality?

2.) the international report from the minister of justice: what does the paper of demand need on it?

3.)do i need a copy of my tax's from last year. I will have a letter from work stating basic information?

4.) Does everything need to be done in Casa and Rabat.?

they make you jump through the hoops here.

    I appreciate the answers .

    thanks so much.

I hope everyone has a great day.

  5. I will be going to Morocco in 4 weeks to get married. I know all my papers must be translated into arabic.

Does it make a difference if i have the translated done here in the usa or do they need to be translated in morocco?

there are many sites that i can have this done on. I just know that morocco is very different on their papers.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Shellie
