U can't predict these embassy ppl,  some applicants gets phone calls to come for their package, some gets emails and some get mail.  I received ours in the mail and scanned it and email it to my husband and he print it out and take it to the embassy. So keep ur eyes on both ur emails and ur mailbox, also the the applicant to keep his/her phone on always. Hope this help ur questions. 

That's why I said u can't predict them, because they contact ppl different ways, we just have to keep our eyes on all the contact information we gave them.

Call in letter was dated July 13 2017, but I received yesterday August 3 2017
And it came from DC zip code but has consular return address. God we praise ur name. 👏👏👏👏👏

I don't think so, they only work with USCIS, once the case is @ the embassy I don't think they can do anything, just my thoughts. 

@Boohene102314 how are u?  Pls did the embassy responds about the fee enquiry.  Also ours was reaffirmed in may so I guess we should be looking at Oct for our packet because it seems like it takes 4️⃣ months to get it after reaffirmed. 🙌🙌🙌🙌❤

I said the same thing like we Africans don't know anything, but they are wrong. Most of us know the process more than them that working on the case's. We've been married for two years seven months now and I thought about the same thing, but hubby said we should wait till he get his date, so maybe I will contact my lawyer about adjusting ours too. The first person who answered my call was a female and she was nice enough to tell me that she doesn't have enough explanation for me so she transferred me to a department that handle cases that already received by the embassy, and it was a male who answered, I explain to him what I need and the only answer he could give me was I can't get into our ds260 so we should contact the embassy or wait for them to tell us what they need. lol 😂 I'm not buying that.i listen 👂 to my guts and login only to find out I'll be able to make the changes, I think as soon as the embassy received the reaffirmed the expiring soon message disappeare on ur page,because I didn't see it last night when I sign on. Thank God and may he blessed each and everyone of u.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.

Gm vj members  I called nvc this morning and the lady who answered the phone said, there's a note stating they will be forwarding our case to the embassy, but she doesn't know when. And I asked her if we will receive any letter from nvc, she said no, but rather from the embassy, I thought we supposed to get a letter from the nvc once our case is forwarded. These ppl can stress ppl. Anyone with an idea pls. Thanks 

Gm vj members, we applied for itin # for my husband so I would be able to file joint returns for the taxes, by God's grace IRS issued the number and we are waiting for the return to be process also I did amendments to my 2015 taxes so it will change from head of household to married filing joint. I received the letter with the itin number. So my question is since our tax return will show on the transcript as joint,is it necessary for us to add the IRS letter to our documents for the interview. Thanks n advance. Any information will be appreciated. Can't wait 😊 for this nightmare to be over.
