no we only get like a receipt that like an acknowledgement that we handed over the docs to the courier and there is a reference number but I think that reference number is like internal for the embassy. no tracking number that we can track I researched all over but no luck

had interview on july 8 at us embassy in Islamabad the interview went well very short and smple for f2a child of lpr the problem we had was the birth of place in the passport was wrong so the officer issued 221g and said to correct the passport and send it back. we got a new passport and the error has been fixed in the new passport now place of birth matches the place of birth in birth certificate that is what they wanted. we send the passport back on july 18 2019. its almost a week and there is no update on ceac I know of others on this forum that sent docs and saw some kind of update on case in 2 days im almost a week and no type of date on ceac at all. I have few questions
1. how long does (AEG) the courier take to deliver the docs to the embassy?
2.how do we know that embassy received docs
3.how long after they receive the docs does the case update
-
ok sounds good but will embassy know that we have uploaded docs or do we have to send them an email to notify them as well. also do you know if i should mail copy of birth certificate or the original
-
had interview done F2A CHILD OF LPR interview was short and quick with basic question every thing was good accept passport. the birth of place in passport was different than birth of place in birth certificate was advise to have the passport corrected with birth of place matching same birth of place on birth certificate and than send the passport back and birth certificate to the embassy to have visa issued. question . do we send the original birth certificate or copy? also was told to upload joint sponsor w2 using ceac we already uploaded that the next day. question
2. after uploading the w2 to ceac do we have to email the embassy to let them know that we have uploaded the document to ceac or will they know automatically? I HAVE ALREADY POSTED IN THE FORUM BUT NO HELP IF ANY BODY WITH KNOWLEDGE IN THIS REGARD CAN HELP APPRECIATE IT THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

so my brother inlaw had his interview done at us embassy in islamabad case is under f2a minor child of lpr the interview was short and simple. how ever they pointed out a mistake where the passport and the birth certificate showed different place of birth location so they did not issue the visa officer told him to fix the place of birth in the passport so it matches the birth certificate and send us the corrected passport with the birth certificate to issue the visa. we already got the passport corrected and should receive the new passport next week one question is do we send the original birth certificate with the passport or just a copy please advise. also he was told to upload the latest w2 for joint sponsor through ceac we have already uploaded the w2s will automatically know that we uploaded it or do we have to sent an email or something to let them know we uploaded the document to ceac. thanks in advance

i never said dna was not sufficient i said its best to add affidavits as well as get the dna if you read the rfe uscis clearly states that you should submit documents like affidavits etc... as well as the dna im speaking from personal experience literally got an approval for this same problem few months back

please do good luck

no problem I went through this exact situation so I know how stressing it can get but don't worry it seem impssible but its not good luckkk

im in ny and lucky we were close to the company called dna lab center it was great because dna testing is expensive but for what people pay other place for one person we got 4 people tested for the price of one 3 children and my motherinlaw makes it 4 so if your father is in the tristate he should definitely look in to dna lab center extremely low price
-
yes what happened was we spoke to the lab and the lab said to send them the rfe letter we received. we send it to them and they did the paper work sent it out to the embassy 2 weeks later the children in Pakistan received phone call from embassy to come in for the dna test after they went to the embassy and did the dna test the embassy sent it back here to the lab and my mother in law had done the testing here in the lab after every body was tested the lab waited for the kits from the embassy and then got the results and gave us a copy just for our record we didn't sent to embassy we only sent affidavits to uscis the dna results were sent directly by the lab
-
and another tip dna alone is not enough to make the case strong you should get affidavits at least from 3 different people if you can get one from a religious teacher like from the local mosque where the teacher can affirm on oath that the children are your fathers children stating the reason also how he knows they are his children also if you can get something from like a family doctor and one from a family member as well

I just had the same issue my mother in law applied for her children in Pakistan and we got the dna done for Pakistan the dna was done at the embassy and than sent to the lab here in the us after the lab received the results they sent it to uscis and case was approved. we went through company called dna lab center you can reach out to them or find one of your own approved laboratory I hope this helps

ok so far this time we have some new evidence that we plan to send in with the new I 130 that we plan to send soon
1>LIFE INSURANCE POLICY THAT HAVE BOTH PARENTS AND CHILD NAME
2>NADRA OFFICE WILL ISSUE FRC (FAMILY REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE) THIS IS A DOCUMENT THAT HAS BOTH PARENTS NAMES AND ALSO HAS SIBLINGS NAMES AS WELL
3>WE PLAN TO GET TWO SWORN AFFIDAVITS FOR EACH CHILD WHO HAVE WITNESS THE CHILD BIRTH AND WAS PRESENT AT THE TIME OF BIRTH
THIS IS WHAT WE HAVE SO FAR WILL THIS BE OK COMPARED TO THE FIRST TIME WE WERE NOT ABLE TO GET ANY DOCS THAT HAD BOTH PARENTS NAMES
I HAVE ALREADY ASKED THIS QUESTION BEFORE BUT I JUST WANT TO CLARIFY BEFORE SENDING THE I 130. SO IT WILL BE OK FOR ME TO SEND THIS EVIDENCE ALONG WITH THE NEW I 130 . INSTEAD OF WAITING FOR AN RFE AND THAN SENDING IT TO THEM I WANT TO SEND THE EVIDENCE AND THE I130 IN ONE PACKAGE IF ANY ONE CAN PLEASE CONFIRM SO THAT IM 100 PERCENT SURE BEFORE SENDING IT OFF TO USCIS

father is deceased

we sent the nadra birth certificate it has both parents name on it but the supporting docs only had the fathers name but it was the mother who petitioned for the children so they want docs which has both the parents name also the birth was not registered at birth it was done recently for the i130 purpose so that is the main reason why they asked for evidence
-
i understand that it has to be done at their designated labs i dont want to go to any clinic i want to have dna done at a designated lab but question is can i request to have dna test done to prove my case also when filling out the i130 question 16 has your relative ever been under immigration proceedings.should i put yes or no if yes it asks where when etc... the i-130 never made it out of uscis im guessing its no but a little insight on this would help
-
well im applying with additional evidence like sworn affidavids and the dna test which im trying to get an idea of how to do it without them asking for it if you recall i mention that dna was an option that was given to us but we didnt take it so this time around we are adding that on to the list i just dont know how to proceed with getting the dna test any insight on that would be great dul
-
the problem is that all documents that we were able to retreive only had fathers name because it is customary in our native country to have only the fathers name on the documents also uscis never requested us for dna testing the first time it was just an option along with the documents and the reason we didnt do the dna we thought the documents were enough proof. so the situation is we are going to send in the same evidence documents but we would lime to have dna testing done to prove that they are biological children can we write a letter explaining this when we re file thanks in advance dor the info

my mother who is a green card holder applied for her children all under 21 to come to the us she got an rfe asking for evidence to prove bonified relationship because the birth certificate was registerd very lateso we submitted copy of passport for beneficiary and school docs which show only one parent name which is the father because where we come from its customary to put only thr father name on all the documents.so we received the letter the case was denied because the evidence disnt convince the officer of a bonified child mother relation. spoke to a lawyer advised us not to appeal and just file a new case from start this time along with the documents we want to do dna test to prove that they are her children.
SO QUESTION IS WHEN REAPPLYING DO WE NEED TO SENT THE SUPPORTING EVIDENCE WITH THE I-130 OR WAIT FOR RFE
ALSO DO WE HAVE TO WIT FOR RFE TO DO DNA TEST OR CAN WE DO DNA BEFORE WE SEND THE APPLICATION
ANY BODY WITH ANY KIND OF INFO PLEASE HELP

don't worry the same thing happened with my wife few weeks a go and we were all so scared but when you miss the first one they automatically reschedule you for a second oath ceremony like a month later just make sure that you check the status on line it will say that we have mailed you the date of the oath ceremony when you see that message on line wait one week and make info pass appointment at your local uscis office that send you the letter and explain to the officer that you already missed your oath ceremony once and due to mail issues you don't want to miss it again just ask them for the copy of the letter with the oath date and time they will print it for you keep it as a back up if you receive the other one in the mail good if not you will have the print out from the office they will accept it your fine don't worry
