I gave interview on 16th feb 2021, Since than my status is in waiting for oath ceremony, not yet received notice for oath date.
Anybody has idea how long it takes to schedule for oath ceremony?
-
I had my N 400 interview on 16th Feb, 2021. The time was given at 1:45 but interview started at 2 pm. It just took 20 min to finish interview.
The immigration officer asked my travel visits prior to civics questions and little chat about my job and employment.
Questions: Who veto's bill?
What state borders Mexico?
How many senators?
Who did US fight in World war II
what is the name of vice president?
What dis Martin L. King Jr do?
Read: Who elects congress?
Write: The People elect congress.
After interview, my status changed to schedule for oath ceremony.

klu&mna- Assuming they mail you and you did not receive 18 months extension letter, fill the online form and they will response in a month. Meanwhile try to get infopass.
Thank you, Dilip. Just now I applied for missing notice. and surprisingly, the case status is changed. The new card is processed. Ohh I am so happy. Yesterday night at 12 am I was trying to get infopass, and I was so upset not to get an appointment.
And finally, the case status is changed. Thank you all for helping me.
New Card Is Being Produced
On February 14, 2019, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number EACXXXXXXXX and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Maybe try the online tool for missing notice? That is what I did when I noticed I did not receive it but others did. They sent it to me within a week or two.
Thanks, let me try that.

Yes, that is the right number.
Hi, I called that number, after a long time one person replied that I need to take appointment to get stamped. But there is no luck online infopass. I am worried, my extension letter will expire this month. Is there any way to get appointment?

You should have received an 18 month extension letter. Did you not?
You need the extension as technically you are still legal but you need proof of it.
I would call USCIS and say you never received your 18 month extension if you did not.
No, I did not get 18 months extension letter. I will try to call. Is this number correct-1800-375-5283?

Looks like the I-751 approvals are speeding up! I know a couple December filers who have been approved! Update your timelines
I am a dec filter but still waiting. My extension letter will expire end of this month, I am trying to contact USCIS, no dates available. Is it legal to live here without any extension letter?

Nice! didn't know that we could do so, been reading posts that they got a hard time getting infopass and getting stamps.
Downloading the app right now to track too!
Hi,
My one-year extension will expire this month. Still, my application is in the local office. I had applied Dec 2017. How to get stamped in I-551. Can anybody tell me what procedure to follow? I am worried because I am going to travel in May this year.

Hi,
Just I checked my case status. It says " The case was received at my local office" and "On April 9, 2018, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number XXXXXXXXXXXXX, at your local office".
Can anybody tell me is this notification normal? Why it is changed to local office? and which local office I have no clue.
I had applied to VSC, for lifting conditions.
Thanks

Just wanted to share a update for all who are wondering. My wife is a Indian citizen, she has a expired green card and is awaiting her 10 year green card. They have given her form i-797 which allows for work and travel while she awaits her new green card. We are travelling to mexico in October 2017. For all whom are in the same situation, you do need a Mexican visa. Travelling with a expired GC and form i-797 will not be enough to enter mexico. The visa process is simple, some states require a appointment and others don't. Be sure to look at the general and tourist visa requirements. In addition to what is listed, if he/she is applying as your dependent you will need original and copy of marriage cert. As well as a copy of your American passport/ID. Still remember to bring your expired GC and i-797 on your trip as you will need it to re-enter the United States.
I Have heard and read stories where the visa is not needed, and even speaking to USCIS they said we were fine without it. However, that doesn't mean the customs official in Mexico will feel the same way. It only cost us $36.00...small price to pay and easy process. Hope this helps!
Hi, I am travelling to India, my green card will expired on Feb 28th, I have my I-797 letter. As I am flying through an Turkish airline, will there be any problem? Do airlines aware about this letter? Please reply

You should only need your GC and the ROC NOA along with your passport. The USCIS does not like to stamp the I-551 until less than 60 days before the ROC NOA (one additional year from GC expiration date) is expired. One would think the USCIS would rather give everyone a I-551 stamp in their passport for those who will file for naturalization before the ROC time is up - then they don't need to worry about the GC printing/taking away and destroying process. Then they could streamline the caseload - only those who want to remain PR's will get processed and those that will file for USC will just wait until the time comes.
Oh well....
Thanks a lot.

I also did not get a sticker but you don't need one. Just make sure you have a copy of your receipt handy. I already renewed my PA drivers license with just the I-797, passport, green card and old license. No issues at all.
My case also still states received status with no updates. I would not be worried at all. Just in case things go wrong though make sure you have your biometrics receipt somewhere safe.
Just a query, Can I travel outside country after biometric? Do I need any other forms to be filled or anywhere stamp needed?

Hi everyone. I have made a few improvements to the list with timelines. It is now sorted by date of I-751 submission, so we can quickly see how we are tracking compared to other members.
I have also added two additional columns, namely NOA 1 received (by us) and Interview date. This cleaned up version will allow us to more accurately see what's going on.Please use this version moving forward!
